Since I first saw Lorin's portfolio, I was immediately in love with her style. We did our engagement shoot with her, and she helped ease our nerves and really captured our love and was so fun to work with. Come our wedding, she absolutely nailed our photos and captured the day so perfectly. She is creative, attentive, and just so fun to work with and would recommend her to anyone for their wedding. Thank you again Lorin! -

Lorin Kelly Photography is THE BEST
Lorin is a true professional. I am a wedding photographer and wanted someone to photograph my daughter’s wedding who had it all: knowledge, skills, equipment, intuition, and empathy. Lorin brings everything to the table, and the results are breathtaking. Most importantly, my daughter and her husband were very comfortable with Lorin’s gentle guidance that put them at their best. Hiring Lorin and her team was one of the best decisions my husband and I could have made. My husband was very picky when selecting a photographer and after we got off the phone with her, we looked at each other and knew we needed to book her!Our friends and family can't stop raving about her and her second shooter, they were amazing! She made our wedding day seamless and the pictures after are something we will treasure forever. Thank you Lorin!! -

Above and Beyond Service
I loved Lorin’s photos from the moment I landed on her website. So dreamy and ethereal, just what I wanted for my wedding photos. I talked to other photographers before I came across Lorin and when I spoke with her on the phone, I found it extremely reassuring that I didn’t have to ask too many questions because she simply gave me all the information I needed to know. The price was more than right and she graciously included an engagement session which I had not even thought about doing. She recommended different places for it based on our preference. We finally decided for a sunrise session at the Griffith Observatory, which means she was there at 5am! My husband was impressed when she pulled out an app to see the sun trajectory (it was overcast) for the best light. It’s the little things right?
Plus she is so friendly and easy to talk to. And very patient: My husband was being very picky about how he wanted the photos to be taken and she was always accommodating but also tried to push him/us to take photos she knew we would love (thank you!).
Finally on the day-of, Lorin and her second shooter showed up early to the venue to get the lay of the land. They also helped us with our cameras: We had a couple of GoPros so having worked with videographers before, Lorin suggested where to put them, and also expertly moved them so they wouldn't be in her shots, but would still record the ceremony from a good angle. I thought that was very nice of her because it wasn’t really her job to worry about the cameras.
She sent a few sneaks just a couple of days after the wedding (lovely!) and the full gallery within the timeframe given at the beginning. Will definitely hire again! -

Lorin Is The BEST!!
In the months before our wedding, my wife and i met with half a dozen photographers. As an event industry professional myself, I have worked with many different vendors in my life, and I knew we had to find just the right person.
Although we spoke with Lorin twice, we knew within 5 minutes that we wanted to hire her to photograph our wedding. More than anybody I've met, Lorin really took the time to understand the story of our relationship, and specifically what feelings we wanted our guests to connect with throughout the wedding.
Lorin was patient, kind, and incredibly understanding every time we spoke with her, and when the big day finally came - she just knocked it out of the park. She was even able to wrangle our absurdly large 18-person bridal party, as if it was nothing!
Lorin even offered to throw in a photo album for free when our wedding photos arrived a little bit late. It was an incredibly kind gesture that meant so so so much to us.
I cannot recommend Lorin enough for your wedding, if you're looking for somebody to deliver A++ results. Thank you Lorin!! -

One of the best investments for my wedding!
I found out about Lorin through Instagram (since she's been featured on many wedding publications). She was easygoing, fun, and a good listener right off the bat – ended up working with her and a videographer that she recommended for my wedding. Their chemistry and teamwork were incredible, we absolutely LOVED both the process and results! Lorin is so good at making you feel at ease, not just because of her personality but also because of her skills and eye for aesthetics. I trusted her judgement and was extremely pleased with the end results.
On top of my wedding day, we also worked with her on an engagement shoot at Joshua Tree; she was adventurous, agreeable, and omg dedicated – she had hurt her arm before that but she still tried to climb some huge rocks just to get the shots that she wanted for us, it was a heartwarming experience as we looked out for each other. Review for our amazing wedding photographer!
The pictures that Lorin took for our wedding were absolutely PERFECT!!! Every photo was absolutely beautiful and dreamy and exactly how we had pictured them. Lorin was SO professional and also so funny, everyone in our wedding party loved her! We still get compliments from people about how beautiful the photos were. I can’t recommend Lorin enough! She is so thoughtful about the whole process and really gets to know her clients and which photos will be the most special to them. Your wedding photos are some of the most important pictures you’ll ever have, and Lorin did such an amazing job making sure that they were all perfect! -

We met Lorin through a close friend, who had nothing but great things to say, and she was not wrong. From the first day of communication, Lorin was attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly creative in the assembly of our engagement photos. On our end, we had to reschedule because of an unforeseen event, and Lorin was more than supportive and accommodating. When we coordinated the shoot, we were floored by Lorin’s artistic sense and shot choices. We’re over the moon happy with her and the quality of service she delivers! -

We hired Lorin in early 2020 for our November wedding. Our plans obviously changed due to the pandemic and we wound up having a very different wedding than we thought. Lorin was very accommodating, flexible, and communicative throughout the year, and made us feel very at ease with all the stress and changes. The weather went bad at the last minute and we were worried about the effect on the photos, but they turned out amazing! Lorin's process was efficient and smooth. We got the family photos done really quickly and we almost didn't realize she was there the rest of the time (but she didn't miss a single thing!). In summary, we got wonderful photos of everything we could have wanted without having to think about it very much! We are going to have a second celebration for all the friends and family who couldn't attend our first wedding once the pandemic is over and we are definitely planning on hiring Lorin for that one as well!Lorin Kelly Photography's reply:

I found Lorin through a friend's instagram. From the time I first messaged her to receiving the final pictures -- each step was amazing! She was responsive and helpful during each step of the process -- we even got the final edited pictures earlier than anticipated. Lorin is friendly, relaxed and amazing at her job. My fiance and I are of course not professional models but she made us feel relaxed during the photoshoot. She beautifully captured our love for eachother and we had fun taking pictures. We have gotten so many compliments and rave reviews about our engagement pictures. Make a good decision today and HIRE LORIN!!! -

Lorin has been the most lovely and kind person from the very beginning. When we had our first phone call with her she made everything clear and made my husband and I feel very confident in her skills. My husband hired her to photograph our engagement and the photos were perfect! I fell in love with her vibrant, true to color vibe and she did not disappoint. Once all of the covid stuff started happening and everyone’s heads started to spin, she was always there with suggestions and was super understanding with everything going on. The day of our wedding was insane, as it was 107 degrees, but she was able to capture this very hot day without a single drop of sweat seen. I disappointed that our family had to deal with the insane heat, but Lorin made me forget about the fact that it was even an issue on that day, which is exactly what you should want in a photographer. She captured all of the amazing memories and more on the most special day of my life. -

Hands down, the BEST photographer!!
Where do I even begin?! Lorin has been an absolute DREAM to work with! She is so fun, kind, easy to work with, detailed, organized and professional! We’ve literally had 8 hour event days of nonstop laughter and joy when we get to work alongside each other. She makes you feel valued and cherished and truly treats you as a friend. What I love most is how detail oriented she is because she knows that you have entrusted her with your most perfect day. And she does her job oh so perfectly! Every time I receive a gallery from her, I am blown away at what she has captured and fall in love with the memories even more!! Every photo reflects you and your love story. All this is to say, Lorin is the BEST at what she does! I have been so blessed to work with her a handful of times now and each and every time, she goes above and beyond what I would expect in a photographer. She brings joy and laughter to every event and will make working with her, a true pleasure! I can’t wait to work with her again!! You will seriously not regret working with Lorin! -

Words can't describe how amazing Lorin is as a photographer and also as a person. We got married during the coronavirus pandemic (after postponing for three months). Not only was she accommodating and flexible with our pandemic wedding, but also so supportive all throughout our planning, which involved multiple venue cancellations. She's also an amazing photographer. Best we could have asked for. Our photos have been featured in various bridal magazines, including the Knot's How They Asked! I found Lorin through a mutual friend! My husband and I booked her right away as soon as I contacted her and started talking! We made in instant connection.
I ended up doing a boudoir shoot with her that was included in the package. I have never done that before, nor have I ever been in front of a camera with a complete stranger behind it. Lorin made me feel so extremly comfortable it made the experience so much better and I felt way more relaxed and excited. Throughout the wedding planning journey she was always there to answer any questions I had or opinions I needed. The day of the wedding she was ready to take the day on! I had a rather large wedding and her and her second shooter totally rocked it and we couldn't have asked for a better experience with them! Her turnaround time was exactly when the contracted stated when we would get the full gallery. Which I love! We didn't have to hunt her down and beg for our photos. In fact I even asked her if she could send me a few in between since it was during the holiday time and she did! She was on top of it and so excited to deliver our gallery. Let me tell you! THEY TURNED OUT SO AMAZING!!!! They captured every single moment of that day and more! My husband and I were really able to reminisce on our special day just by looking at our gallery one by one. I will 100% be getting any other photos with Lorin, whether that be an event, family photos, pregnancy, you name it! You ask and she will deliver! Lorin was absolutely amazing! I cannot recommend her enough. From the small details she remembered from our chat over coffee months before our wedding, to the fun ways she got us out of our "picture grins" in order to get the candid shots. I'm pretty sure I will always remember her telling my (now) husband to whisper his favorite vegetable in my ear to get me to crack up! She was fun, friendly, laughed at my husbands jokes - ha!, but mostly she made us feel comfortable! Side note: for all those organized gal's out there, Lorin is 100% on top of her game and to be honest did a better job at managing the day's schedule than my day of coordinator.
