  The Best Team in Philly!

  Love & Laughter Weddings made our wedding day so special! From a writing completely custom ceremony to heartfelt delivery, Evelyn created a script that had everyone smiling and crying. Throughout the day her and the team took care of us and made sure we stayed on track with the timeline and were taken care of with whatever we needed. She was professional, kind, and made us feel at ease throughout the entire process. She also helped me with what to do after the wedding in the name change process. Can't recommend them enough for a perfect wedding experience!

  Stress-free dream wedding!

  We met Evelyn through a friend who she planned their wedding for and seeing how amazing our friends wedding was and how highly recommended she was by our newlywed friends it was a no brainer we had to work with her for our own wedding. She was kind, organized, and kept us on track through the months of planning. When things got overwhelming because of external pressures and just life overall, she was always caring, reassuring and truly a friend throughout the process. Our wedding day went on perfectly and beautifully, all thanks to Evelyn. Our guests til this day tell us our wedding is the best they’ve ever been to. Evelyn made sure our wedding felt like us, and made sure we felt taken care of. We didn’t have to worry about a thing because we had her and her incredible team leading our day. This entire team genuinely cares about their couples and their guests and we can’t recommend them enough!

From the moment we started our wedding planning journey, Evelyn's kindness, guidance, and unwavering support made every step a happy experience. Planning has never been my forte and I overwhelm easily when decisions need to be made, but her gentle guidance throughout the months of planning alleviated any stress I had, and her attention to detail ensured that every corner of our special day was nothing short of perfect.

  We initially found Evelyn of Love & Laughter Weddings while we were looking for our officiant. After our first meeting, we discovered that she also offered partial planning services, and we could not be happier that we decided to work with her in both capacities. Throughout our planning and on the big day itself, Evelyn was warm, cheerful, thoughtful, and organized. From keeping track of timelines and details that we never would have thought of on our own, to designing our wedding signage and heartfelt ceremony, to coordinating behind the scenes with our venue and other vendors, and always including our pup, Rayla, in her greetings, words can hardly express how deeply grateful we are to Evelyn for shepherding us through the process as advertised: with lots of love and laughter!   Evelyn is an absolute GEM

  Evelyn was our officiant for our 11/27 wedding at Terrain. She was super helpful at the rehearsal and on wedding day and was completely on top of everything marriage license (reminder to apply, suggestion to bring to rehearsal, to having everything ready to go day of and promptly submitting on our behalf). She not only handled the ceremony and license but she just radiates kindness and was such a pleasure to work with!

  Best Officiant (and Hype Queen) out there!

  Evelyn was our officiant (and hype queen) for our October 2022 wedding at the Cork Factory Hotel. She was absolutely incredible in every way. She had so many resources to offer that helped us create our CUSTOM ceremony. It was so meaningful and truly captured every bit of who we are as a couple. The entire process from planning to the wedding day and filing our license was so smooth and professional, and we felt supported the entire time. Evelyn is an absolute gem of a human being with a heart of gold. We truly feel like we made a new friend through this process, and we are so glad that we found her.

  Evelyn is amazing!!

  We chose Evelyn for our wedding ceremony in April. We wanted an officant who spoke Spanish and found her via Wedding Wire. She was so easy to work with and very responsive to emails. She personalized our ceremony, made suggestions, and sent me a copy of our ceremony to review ahead of time. I have had multiple guests tell me how great our ceremony was. Evelyn has a calming presence and was so helpful. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an officant!!

  Evelyn was absolutely incredible throughout the upcoming months to the wedding and during our ceremony. She sent us several scripts and ideas of intros, vows, and outros.   Do your mental health a favor and Book Evelyn like, YESTERDAY! I’ve known exactly what I wanted for my wedding day since I was about 10 years old. One thing I was not expecting was all the stress that came with planning!!! I had the major elements booked but I really needed help with having all the small details come together and let me tell you, Evelyn thought of things that would’ve never even crossed my mind! She is organized and detailed, and so easy to talk to- not to mention communication on point! Always easy to reach and great response time (which was such a stress reliever since alot of vendors take days to reply!). She guided our rehearsal the day before, decorated our venue beautifully on our wedding day, made sure everything ran smoothly, and packed everything up for us at the end of the night. They don’t call her the Fairy Godmother of Weddings for nothing! We can’t recommend her enough! Book her for your wedding- your nerves and mental health will thank you!!!!!!

  We found Evelyn and Love & Laughter through Instagram and we can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our entire planning experience! She helped us with the vendors we needed, met with us multiple times to talk over logistics, and handled the Day Of completely and the day ran without a hitch! I’m a super anxious person and an overthinker but Evelyn made sure to always calm my nerves and I would always leave our meetings feeling relieved and at peace. She is such a light of a person too; she’s warm and bubbly and funny all while being professional and that connection was something really I needed. I didn’t just want a robot running the day, I needed to feel that connection and with Evelyn that was instant. Our wedding day turned out exactly what we had for so long dreamed of and we couldn’t thank Evelyn enough for taking care of us throughout these months. We love her and you will love her too!!

  Evelyn gosh!! I cant begin to explain how everyone just loved her style- She is amazing!! She talked to us for months got to know us and our story and made this beautiful moment ( the ceremony) so memorable. She made it so us!   We fully planned a micro wedding in 3 weeks

  After learning the doctor gave my grandmother very limited time left with us, we decided we didn’t want to wait to tie the knot so she would be able to see me get married. We found Evelyn through a friend and she helped us pull everything together in 3 weeks. It was 30 of our closest friends and family and I still can’t believe she pulled it off so effortlessly in such short notice. Evelyn was very kind through the process and very responsive. It was a really great experience working with her and we recommend her to everyone

  This Covid Couple survived wedding planning thanks to Evelyn

  Just like many other couples, we had to reschedule our wedding not once, but twice, and we couldn’t have done it without Evelyn helping us through everything. Her calming nature was always reassuring when we had to jump through new obstacles. She was always super responsive throughout our year and a half of planning and everything was magical and perfect the day of our wedding. Book her, she is an amazing planner, officiant and now friend!

  The best day of our life!

  Our families only speak Spanish and finding a bilingual officiant and day of coordinator seemed like an impossible task. Thankfully we found Evelyn and she made our ceremony perfect and in Spanish! Our families were so happy they were able to fully be a part of the most important part of the day. She was able to customize our ceremony and tell our love story (we have been together 12 years) everything was perfect. Throughout the day she was the main point of contact for everything which was so important for us so our families could fully enjoy the day and not have to run around with tasks working. Evelyn is seriously the best!!!

  The Most Perfect Wedding Day!

  Our custom ceremony was everything we had always dreamed of and never knew how to achieve. As soon as we had our initial consultation with Evelyn we knew we had found the perfect person to tell our story. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about our heartfelt ceremony and how US it was. It was light and funny and warm, all at the same time. Evelyn nailed it! She was also our Day of Coordinator and our day went by perfectly. I just wish it would have lasted longer! Thank you Evelyn for making our wedding day so magical and perfect!

  Wedding planning turned out to be WAY more intense than I had originally thought. I got overwhelmed a few months in and Evelyn from Love & Laughter Weddings came to my literal rescue.   You’ve made it. You’ve found the greatest human / officiant and wedding planner on the internet. Go ahead and book your wedding. Evelyn is amazing, super responsive and pretty much an on-call therapist. She held my hand throughout the planning process, and not to mention she was quite literally a shoulder to cry on when I was frantic and overwhelmed. I couldn’t plan it alone and she was my saving grace. I handed her my pinterest board and she did the rest. Amazing experience as a client and I gained a lifelong friend.

She was super patient with us because we’re not great at making decisions but she really made us feel calm during the months of planning. She handled all of our family and friends like the pro she is (because family can be a tough cookie!) and provided us with anything and everything we needed on the day of the wedding.
