The best photographers out there!
What can we not say about Shalyn and Drew?! Early on we knew they would be the perfect photographers for our wedding, but as time passed and our big day arrived they were more friends than anything! They were so professional and had an amazing way of fitting into our friends and family that you didn’t even notice the cameras—it’s a very special talent! We could never put into words how we feel about the pictures. They are flawless, and capture every moment of our big day. We can’t stop looking at them and our friends and family can’t get enough either! Thank you both so much, we really couldn’t ever say or thank you enough for everything!!What can we not say about Shalyn and Drew?! We absolutely LOVED working with Shalyn and Drew from Love, The Nelsons! From the get-go I knew we would have a blast working with Shay since I had met her thru blogging a few years back. She has the most FUN, easy going, positive and loving personality you could imagine - and that made taking pictures for my not-so-picture-taking hubster SO relaxed and actually enjoyed shooting. He basically laughed thru the whole thing thanks to her great rapping skillz and pep talks to set us at ease! With the weird weather in Austin lately we had to reschedule engagements a few times and Shalyn was incredibly accommodating and positive about it the entire time, just waiting on the PERFECT weather and I am grateful for that! I felt extremely confident in her services and nearly cried when we got our photos! We are now waiting on our Wedding Photos (got married last week yay!) and I am SO EXCITED to get them I know they will be perfection at its greatest! If you want the most special photographer duo in Austin who take the time and make your photos affectionate, intimate, and basically the bomb-diggity, this is your chance!!! I cannot say enough good things about Love, The Nelsons Photography! Shay and her sweet hubby Drew make up the bomb.com dream team!!
Shay was recommended by a friend and I was done the moment I saw one of her photo shoots. I immediately asked her if she would travel since we were not getting married in TX, and it was love at first email!
She is so talented and passionate for what she does, it really comes across in her work! Shay was our photographer for my engagement photos, bridal portraits and our wedding. She was very flexible with me setting up dates for shoots (even with some last minute changes) and was always full of energy and laughs. She totally made what might feel like an awkward situation so much fun and made me so comfortable! Not to mention the photos came out beautifully, I received so many compliments and questions about our photographer!
They were so much fun the day of the wedding, all of our wedding party had a blast with Shay and Drew! They also kept everyone on time and focused so we could get all of the pictures we needed, even with lots of family and friends running around. I did not want just the traditional wedding shots, and Shay was so creative – I have no idea where she comes up with stuff! She was climbing trees and fences, break to do a happy dance with me and then more crazy pics… I’m telling you – amazing!
I’m extremely happy to say that this was not just another wedding vendor. My husband and I totally connected with Shay and Drew and have made great new friends! We are so happy that we found them and I recommend Love, The Nelsons to anyone looking for a photographer!
