  Best there is

  We found Kara through some friends who raved about her and are so thankful we did ! We clicked right away ! It has been a long road together! We rescheduled my daughters wedding due to covid from sept 2020 to august 2021. Everything was seamless ! We were able to keep all of our original vendors partly I believe because they love working with Kara and they respect her. We had a few blips along the way. Kara kept me completely calm and most importantly kept me laughing!
  Kara’s attention to detail is impeccable and she was able to make recommendations within our budget! The weekend was fantastic. We’ve had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to - need I say more!?

  Kara is the best in the business - don't wait!

  Where do I start with Kara and Love this Day Events? We planned, replanned, redid a wedding during the pandemic and she made the process easy, streamline, and fun! She is always professional, thoughtful, and has so many great ideas/thoughts as she has done this for a long time and knows essentially everyone in the wedding planning industry, so getting things done was easy with vendors/venue as she personally knew everyone. She is on top of EVERY detail - no detail gets past her!!! Above all, Kara is a lovely human, and I would 1000000000% plan another wedding with her. I feel so lucky to have had her as my wedding planner, and I recommend her for anyone looking for a nice, fun, detail-oriented and talented wedding planner.

  AMAZING! I couldn't recommend Kara more!

  Kara is the BEST wedding planner in the game! She was absolutely amazing and perfect during our entire wedding process - She is not only a supportive wedding planner but a supportive friend. During the pandemic, our wedding plans changing about a million times and she was amazing about finding alternatives and still making it the best day! She has so much grace and kindness that any bride would be lucky to work with her! She was the true MVP of our wedding - I couldn't recommend her more to any couple!

  Amazing experience

  Kara is amazing. The way she is able to coordinate every single detail to make sure the big day turns out without a hitch is incredible. She made planning our wedding very easy and stress free. Anything we needed, she was all over it! Would not have been as amazing without her

  Unbelievably Amazing

  Kara is an absolute gem! She is not only a fantastic planner, but a wonderful person. I honestly don't know where to begin because I have so many things I want to write.
  First, our wedding turned out more magical than we could ever have imagined. Kara did a great job of listening to us and understanding our vision and what was important to us. She had great ideas for how to make the weekend even better. The end result was unbelievable and we were thrilled all weekend! Second, Kara made the whole planning process a breeze. There are so many vendors out there - it's hard to know where to start. Based on what she knew about us and where we were getting married, Kara suggested a limited number of vendors for us to decide between. It made the planning process simple and it all turned out amazing. She was right about each and every person we worked with! They were amazing. Kara was so responsive over the course of our entire year of anticipation/planning - which always put me at ease. Kara was also super organized and made sure that all of the pieces fit together. I never had a doubt that it would all come together knowing that she was at the helm.
  Finally, Kara is an amazing presence. She is supportive and kind and just a joy to be around. We just loved spending time with her! I cannot recommend her enough.

  Beyond Grateful for Kara

  Kara jumped in to help us plan our perfect wedding in less than a year's time. She connected us to incredible vendors that she knows personally, organized countless timelines, and executed our vision seamlessly. As you know the lists never end with wedding planning, but Kara was there every step of the way to make us feel cared for and organized. When I was overwhelmed she was there to help me breathe and calm down. She is so incredibly punctual (down to the minute) so when I threw her the curve ball of not feeling well the morning of our wedding (thus pushing things back a decent amount) she adjusted and kept on going! If you love the details but don’t want to have to think of them on your wedding day, Kara at Love This Day Events is the one to call.   In all honesty, I’ve been procrastinating this review because I don’t want it to end (but realistically, it won’t because we’re friends for life now). I love Kara so incredibly much. As a wedding photographer and a bride, she knew exactly what I was thinking at all times. A year of phone calls, emails, plane rides, tears, and triumphs, I can confidently say… look no further. You will be lucky to have this incredible STONG woman on your side. She was my rock throughout my destination wedding and there is no way I could have done it without her. She put herself first throughout every single situation and went above and beyond what I expected her to do. By the time the wedding day came around, she was just another best friend in the room with me. I’m tearing up right now thinking about how perfect our wedding day was and it’s all because of her. Kara knows everyone and holds fantastic relationships with each person she meets. She truly has a niche with the wedding world that not many people can handle.

She knows her stuff and I didn't have to worry about anything the day of my wedding. She is worth every penny and more.

  Kara is hand-down one of the best wedding planners around! She has an amazing eye for design, especially if you're looking for lux mountain/ranch (which I was); she has amazing relationships with vendors and knows the market really well so you don't have to spend a zillion hours researching and sending quotes; and she's just flat out NICE. Like craaaaaaaazy nice. If you're stressed out, having a bad day or something snags (because something will snag), she'll be there to fix things ASAP......all without losing a smile. Plus she goes above and beyond on everything - following up on questions, picking up things that need to be picked up, you name it and she's on it. At the end of the day, in hiring Kara, you're hiring a best friend and savior for what is the most exciting (albeit stressful) time in your life! I cannot recommend her enough!

  What can I say about Kara that hasn't been already said?! Well I will double down on all of it! We found Kara and she basically became the third musketeer to my mother and I through the whole planning project. We are from California and she made every call, email, text, facetime and IN PERSON appointment possible for our Winter Park winter wedding. She knew all of the best vendors but also was very open to us looking for new options out there. She most importantly suggested our band that actually might have been the best band I have ever seen (no bias promise) and made the party beyond fun. She was there all the way leading up emailing back in the middle of the night, texting me in between breaks during her own meetings and just being such a positive light in a time that kind sometimes be stressful.
  
  She was a great liaison between ourselves and the venue since we weren't there in person and always had 2 to 3 solutions to a problem if it arose. She kept track of hundreds of email chains between a bunch of vendors and just kept everyone moving forward. She made the tough calls to vendors if you were in a pickle and took a lot of pressure off.
  
  Kara I consider more than a planner but a friend and I don't think anyone could have listened, executed and go BEYOND like she did. My wedding was as perfect as it could have been all planned and ran smoothly my Kara. I can't say thank you enough and recommend her enough to anyone getting married - she is the real deal! Worth every penny :)

  We originally (unfortunately) planned on going with a different coordinator, but things just weren't sitting right with that person at all, so we went on the hunt for a new coordinator. Mind you, our wedding was a mere 3 weeks away, so we were in straight panic mode. We luckily came across Kara, and by our very first conversation, I knew we were finally in the right hands. We were so comfortable & at ease with her. She made us feel like she was truly there for us & that our happiness was her focus. She jumped in & worked with our last-minute needs--keeping us on track & tying up our loose ends. Her decorating skills are AMAZING. She made our lanterns, draping, candles, and other decor come to life in an elegant, intimate, & romantic way. She made sure our vendors knew where to go, what to do, & when to do it, and she directed them in such a graceful, poised & humorous way. Another reviewer used the word "bossy", which couldn't be further from the truth!!! Everyone LOVED her! She also kept me from breaking down in nervous tears right before the ceremony by telling me jokes. Haha! She knew exactly what we needed when we needed it. We also wound up having an unplanned vendor stay for dinner, and since we didn't have a vendor meal for this person she just made something happen, which we were grateful for. She even stayed after the event to clean up everything and pack our decor up in boxes, and all she wanted us to do was to go enjoy our night. Holy cow, what a truly amazing person she is! She is selfless, honest, reliable, incredibly smart, organized, funny, kind, energetic, & very put-together...she's everything you need in a wedding coordinator. Look no further. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this woman! Kara, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. You made our day so personalized & special. We consider you a friend of ours, so let us know when we can go play outdoors!!!

  Kara Delay was absolutely fabulous!! I planned my wedding as a destination wedding. All the planning was done over the phone with Kara. When I arrived for the week long celebration I did not have to worry about one detail. She was competent, professional, organized, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun!! She helped me make decisions and was always available!! I would highly recommend her for your future wedding!!!

On my wedding day itself, she helped us transition from an outside wedding to a spectacular inside wedding (it decided to hail and snow on our wedding day) all the while keeping me calm and smiling. She was an invaluable piece to our wedding and you would be remiss to not hire her on the spot if you are planning a Colorado mountain wedding.

  I could not have asked for more in a wedding planner. Not only did Kara find us the most incredible wedding location, she was able to negotiate our vendor contracts and help with every last detail. She kept me calm through the entire planning process and I literally could not have done any of it without her. My wedding weekend was perfect and I now have a friend for life!

  My husband and I could not recommend Kara and Kirsty from Love This Day Events any more highly! They were such a pleasure to work with and helped us have a seamless, beautiful and special wedding day. I can't imagine the planning process or the actual wedding day without them.

Throughout the planning process, she was incredibly detail-oriented, making sure that we had a solid plan in place and coordinating behind the scenes with our vendors. She was also willing to field random questions from us and always had an expert opinion or advice to share! On the wedding day itself, Kirsty was on top of everything and attended to every little detail to make sure the day went smoothly. She even helped safety pin my dress when the bustle wouldn't work. Everyone in our wedding party had so much respect for Kirsty and told us how much they enjoyed her presence as well -- she kept everyone smiling and knowing where to be at any moment. And most importantly, she was so kind and caring to me and my husband, which helped make our wedding day even more special.
  
  Likewise, we loved working with Kara as well, who is extremely experienced and has truly seen it all! She always had an expert opinion to share with us and always made sure we were on task and focusing on what was most important. Her vendor recommendations were truly phenomenal -- I don't think we could have assembled a better vendor team. And the floral design she prepared for our wedding was GORGEOUS. We couldn't have been happier with our flowers and how she helped the room come to life with small touches. She is very talented at both the planning and design elements of this job!

  Kara from Love This Day was so helpful throughout the wedding planning process. We had a bit of an unusual venue that required a lot of planning, and even though we only hired Kara for "month of" coordination she was a great help throughout, giving us recommendations for various vendors (all of which turned out as fabulous as she said). For the day of the wedding we did not work with Kara, but with one of the coordinators on her team, Jayme Raichart. I cannot say enough good things about Jayme.
