    Best coordinator ever! highly recommended

    Maleni and her team went above and beyond our expectations, we hire her for half day of coordination to fit our budget and she did way more than just coordinating our wedding, we got a promo code to save on our save the dates and invitations, her team did our floral centerpieces while we provide the flowers, they stay one extra hour to make sure our gifts were pack correctly on our car and pack away some decation not need it after dances. I would highly recommend her to any friend!!

    Maleni is five stars all the way. Wonderful, lovely, very organized and helped us understand exactly what we wanted and needed. I'd absolutely recommend Maleni without any hesitation!!

    Cool, calm and collected

    Maleni put our minds at easy from the moment we hired her for day of wedding coordination. She was in contact leading up to the wedding and provided lots of support and ideas. She and her team went above and beyond the day of our wedding to make everything run as smooth as possible, including modifying our time line when one of our cars with our wedding party got lost for 30 + minutes and coming up with quick solutions to issues that arose (like our dog being wrongfully removed from our hotel room). She was always cool, calm and collected, which is what you need the day of your wedding. I'd highly recommend Lovely & Sweet Events to anyone planning a wedding or event.

    Beautiful Ceremony

    Our ceremony was beautiful and unique. Our priority was to find a bilingual minister for our wedding since most of our family members are Spanish speakers. Finding Maleni to perform our ceremony was amazing! Thank you for everything.

    Melani was absolutely amazing!!!! Not only was this a great price but she went above and beyond anything I expected. She had taught me so many things about planning a wedding that I could have never imagined. She really made our dream wedding possible by meeting with us often (even online) to ask questions, give ideas and answer our questions (we had a lot.) Our wedding involved moving to a second location and she was so great to head to the second location ahead of us to accept the cake delivery and light all the candles and a few last minute decorations. She clearly has been doing this for a while and she even recommended our photographer Sarah who we also loved. Melani is so sweet and nice, she even brought us our beer rights after the ceremony so we could relax for a moment. Thank you Melani!!!

    I booked Maleni for my wedding in March for her half day coordination services. She was amazinggg! She did everything I could ever need and then some. On my wedding day it was raining and she was with me in the rain during our photos holding my dress up. She was so nice and professional. I am so lucky I found her. Best coordinator ever!

    I am an event planner myself, so it is hard to impress me. At the same time, I know the value of having a good event planner on your side. Maleni and her team were amazing. She is the perfect blend of nice while still having structure and authority when needed. She made my wedding day seamless and I didn't worry about a thing. If you are debating whether you need a Day Of coordinator, or a wedding planner, trust me you do! You will be able to enjoy your big day so much more with Maleni taking care of all of the details, tear down, etc.

    Maleni was awesome! She was our half day coordinator, but honestly she provided sooo much help. Very professional from the initial meeting to the day of. She helped us with creating a timeline and confirmed with our vendors a few days before the wedding. Our wedding was at a venue that required us to set everything up that morning, Maleni was there with an assistant to help right on time. Maleni and her assistant helped all morning long and we really couldn't of done it without them (shout out to her great assistant he was super helpful too). Maleni took directions well and also took control and did her thing. When the ceremony and reception began she was there to help keep everything in order and flowing. We were very happy with her services!

    So glad we found Maleni! Our wedding turned out beautiful because of her help. She did exactly what we asked and met up with us several times to ensure we were happy and relaxed. The day of our wedding, we were able to enjoy it all without worrying about a thing! Would highly recommend lovely & sweets!

    We had an excellent experience with Maleni and her partner Mark. They were both very professional, caring, considerate and passionate about making our day go smoothly. Maleni met with us up front, then did a walk through with the manager at the venue, met with us the day before the wedding and then helped on day of. We only hired her for day of coordination, but she was willing to do whatever she needed to do to make sure everything went smoothly! On the day of, she helped set up the centerpieces, cake table, gift table, etc. Handed out wedding favors to our guests, made sure they got programs, advice cards, etc. She helped make sure all the kiddos got down the aisle okay. We told her she could leave once the reception was rolling, to keep our costs down and she made sure we had everything we needed before she left. She helped me pay all the vendors before she left and as she was leaving, my niece fell and cut her head open. Maleni grabbed her emergency kit and stayed to help until she knew we were all good. She obviously cares about what she does and really wants to make sure the bride, groom and families have minimal stress! I would definitely recommend her! She's very sweet and easy to work with.

    Want to make sure your wedding goes as smoothly as possible? Hire Maleni! She was absolutely incredible. She was always available when I called, would text me back within seconds of me texting her, and ALWAYS with a great attitude. She made sure my wedding with 150 guests went perfectly - if there were any hiccups, I didn't know about them. Hire Maleni. It'll be the best decision of your life (other than getting married, of course. Being married is the raddest thing ever.)

    Maleni feels like part of the family now. Maleni was such a great and accommodating coordinator. I live in Austin, and I was getting married in San Diego. Maleni was able to work with me from afar and then coordinate with my family and multiple vendors (officiant, photographer, make up artist, baker, florist, caterer) in order to ensure that my multi-site wedding went off without a hitch. She helped with pick ups of multiple items (including chairs, cakes, decorations, etc.), she ensured everyone knew where they were going, and helped set up in the multiple locations. Maleni is also bilingual (English and Spanish) so she was able to communicate with my multilingual family. This made the coordination and execution go off without a hitch. I cannot recommend Maleni enough. In fact, I think we will hire her services for my cousin's wedding next year.

    Maleni was my "day of coordinator" and I cannot say enough good things about her! She is professional, calm, organized and sweet. I loved having her with me at my wedding day. She answered all my questions patiently, I'd probably send her like 100 emails in one month!
    I strongly suggest you call her immediately and book her before someone else does!

    Having Maleni as our wedding coordinator was probably the best gift I could receive from my husband, we had a wedding on a budget so hiring a "day of" coordinator wasn't on it at all, and Maleni proposed a "Half of" coordination, were she basically coordinate our wedding day since 10am, coordinate our vendors, ceremony and the beginning of the reception, "as soon as you start having fun, I'll be going home happy" she said, and so it was, by 4pm she was gone and she even arrange with my friends and family who would help me to take my gifts home.

    Hiring Maleni to coordinate our wedding was a total stress free experience, since the first phone call you can feel her energy through the phone, email responses were really fast and she coordinate all the vendors one week ahead, everything came out perfect and on time. Totally recommended !

    Maleni was amazing!! She went out of her way to pick up donuts for our donut bar so that members of our wedding party could relax and enjoy the day with us rather than run last minute errands the morning of the wedding! I would highly recommend using her for any event!

    I did not have any high expectations to begin with. I knew I had only engaged in day-of coordinator services and I had worked extremely hard to stay as organized and on top of things as I could to make Maleni's job as easy as possible. It was difficult to get a response from her when I needed it. I was surprised by the lack of follow up leading up the wedding day and attributed it to the fact that perhaps she had other events that took precedence over mine since she was only my day-of-coordinator. Once we were two weeks out however I expected that I was going to become her priority. I reviewed our contract again which stated that she would create a timeline, coordinate with my vendors, and simply, just be available for me. I could not wait for some of these things to happen so myself along with my MOH stepped in and took over much of what I was expecting to have already been handled. I did not get timely responses to emails, I created my own timeline and she did a poor job communicating the details to all my vendors. After consulting with several other wedding coordinators, it was clear that the staff Maleni was going to bring on was not going to be enough to flip our room in the hour we needed it to. At the very last minute, I ended up hiring 3 additional persons on my own to help with the flip and breakdown. Maleni was also supposed to have run our rehearsal. We did not have a traditional wedding party but just a few family members walking down the isle however everyone seemed confused and lost as there was lack of direction and authority from Maleni. The day of the event itself turned out amazing but I believe it was only because I my MOH was coordinating with Maleni and all the staff throughout the night. The day after however when I picked up our rental truck with all of our décor in it, I was sad to find lots of our items were mishandled and broken. I'm disappointed with the service I received and fully regret not hiring a more experienced planner.
