    Very Professional and Easy to Work With!

    If you are looking for DJ to bring life to your party, look no further than Low Country Events! Initially I was worried about the dance floor being awkward due to a small, older guest list and since my husband and I are not dancers. However, Craig was excellent at reading the room and was able to get everyone dancing and having a great time. The dance floor lighting he recommended created a memorable atmosphere. He did a great job keeping us on our timeline without us feeling rushed. I highly recommend Craig to anyone getting married.

    Choose Low Country!

    As you can imagine, planning a wedding during a global pandemic was not the easiest things that we've ever done. Luckily, we chose Craig to be our wedding DJ. He was easy to contact, punctual for the wedding, and made sure that our wedding went off without a hitch. I highly recommend Craig to anyone getting married.

    When it came to wedding planning, music was at the top of our list! Music is extremely important to both me & my husband. We knew it was essential to our wedding day, on 9/1/18. DJ Craig Edelson went above & beyond our expectations! He has music software that allows you to build a playlist that suits you. After reading reviews and working with Jessica from HHI Entertainment, we arranged a phone call. We immediately clicked with Craig and knew that he understood our taste in music. We booked him the very next day. My biggest concern as a bride was that no one would dance. That did not happen with Craig! He had the dance floor going all night long. Towards the end of the wedding, he let me DJ a song which was one of the highlights of our night. (Aside from getting married, lol) So fun! Craig's dance floor lighting & uplighting really created a beautiful, cool, fun atmosphere for our reception. Another major benefit was how well he MC'd our night. He made everything flow & did all the announcements exactly how we wanted them. He kept the energy high without stealing the spotlight. Best DJ we've seen in the area. I cannot recommend Craig Edelson enough.

    Our wedding was 5 days after Hurricane Irma and the island only had been open for a few days. This didn't deter Craig, he was prepared to move forward as long as the venue was open. He has a great setup and everything went well. He is really easy to work with and has a lot of online tools, so you can build your playlist at your own pace. My wife and I didn't make a lot of suggestions, just told him what we liked and he developed the playlist. Can't say enough good things, awesome DJ and he had everyone on the dance floor!

    We enjoyed having Craig as our wedding DJ this past August. Throughout the planning process he was professional and very easy to communicate with. On the day of everything went according to plan. We had speakers and music set up on the beach and a second set in the reception room. My dad and I choreographed a fun introduction to our dance and Craig created a mix so that there was a flow from one song to the next. It was perfect. Our venue was new to him so he even took a trip there the week before to scope out everything ahead time. We would recommend Craig to anyone looking for a wedding DJ in the Hilton Head area!

    Craig was amazing. From our first conversation and throughout the planning of the event, Craig's attention to detail and flexibility made working with him so easy. The night of our event, the music was so great that many guests continued dancing and never sat down to eat their dinner!

    Craig was awesome! Not only did he make himself available to speak with us, he really walked us through the timeline for the day. He kept our wedding going and was an incredible DJ. So glad we found him!

    Craig was more than a great DJ. He helped plan, setup, and design a great play list which everyone loved. I would highly recommend.

    My wife and I at the last minute were bailed on by the DJ we had booked and Craig from Low Country Events came to the rescue!!! We were lucky to be having our wedding on a day he had free, and in 3 weeks we had everything all set and the party was better than we could have ever expected!!! From the lights, to the sound and to the music he played, we couldn't think of a better way to have spent our first night together. Definitely recommend LCE for any party you'd be looking to throw! We already booked him for a fun 1 year anniversary party too.......

    Craig was extremely professional, meeting with my husband and I a few times before the ceremony to make sure we were on the same page. He made the process so easy and went out of his way to make sure we were happy on our big day. He was able to customize our music to the point where we picked all the songs and when they were played. The dance floor stayed packed through the entire reception. He even provided lighting which just took everything up a notch. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to have a fun, stress free wedding day.

    I can't say enough good things about Craig. The service he provided for my wedding were above and beyond my expectations. He paid attention to every detail that we wanted, he has a great outgoing personality and really interacted with our guest on the dance floor. I would recommend Craig for a wedding or any event!

    Low Country Events and Craig was the best decision my wife and I made for our wedding. Hands down professional, reliable, and he accommodated every wish of ours. My wife and I's greatest concern was pleasing both our huge families with diverse tastes in music. We wanted everyone to have an amazing time. We shopped several DJ companies and beyond happy we went with Low Country Events. Craig listened to what we wanted and created an experience that every guest of ours loved. There was music for everyone's taste, and we danced all night!!! On top of that, Craig was entertaining, funny, and many guests shared with us how fun our reception was because of Craig. I have an upcoming fundraiser for my company and we'll definitely be using Craig and Low Country Events for that event too.

    Craig came through for us in a pinch after the band we had scheduled fell through. In hindsight, I think it all worked out to our advantage! I was concerned about hiring a DJ and getting the same old, same old. At the same time, we wanted to provide a professional sound and a fun dance party for our guests. Craig accomplished both of our goals, and was happy to select music according to our tastes. He had perfect suggestions when we needed them and helped us think through the succession of events. Most importantly, he brought a great energy and attitude to the reception. I think our guests set a record for number of hours on the dance floor! We appreciated his flexibility professionalism. Highly recommend!

    Craig was absolutely fantastic and essential to making our wedding the event to remember! He was so thorough when we met him and helped us find our exact vision easily in the process after. Always available, never pushy and detail oriented from the day we deposited to the final moment of the "greatest party of our lives"... seriously that's what our guests call it whenever we see them!     Craig was the DJ for my August wedding. His organized, professional, but easy going approach made for an outstanding day. My wedding was a casual, outdoor wedding that included lawn games like volleyball and horseshoes. I was worried about trying to balance the activities while still having the option of a dance floor. Craig was great at gathering guests on the dance floor when necessary and he put together a mix of music that worked for the diverse crowd. Craig helped with a lot of the logistics during the planning process, walking me through the order of operations at the ceremony, and giving me suggestions based on the many weddings he’s done. One example is how he gathered everyone and had them stand round during the first dance—he said it would look better in the photos. Sure enough, my photographer thanked him and it was great having family and friends in background of the pics.
    Also, it was great to have the website where I could select music online at my own pace—and he played literally every song I requested. Craig has a diverse knowledge of music so it was easy to explain to him what I wanted him to play even though I have quirky taste. He always responded promptly when I contacted him and meetings were easy and efficient.
    Especially if you are planning on having a non-traditional wedding, I would definitely recommend Craig. He took a lot of time to understand exactly what kind of vibe I wanted, and I felt comfortable that we shared the same vision. He read the crowd throughout the day and matched the music perfectly. I didn’t want to do a lot of the traditional stuff (father/daughter dance, bouquet toss) and was worried about the “cheese factor” of a typical wedding DJ. Craig is the perfect blend of professional and laid-back that I was looking for. If you’re on the fence about whether to hire him or not, stop debating and just do it. Your guests will thank you.

    Craig was absolutely amazing to work with, from start to finish! His laid-back, yet confident personality made it an easy decision to work with him for such an important event in our lives. He relieved one of the major stresses of the day by completely handling every detail, yet remaining flexible enough to incorporate any last minute personal touches we requested. We were really able to relax and enjoy our night, leaving all our trust in him to ensure everything in his department would run perfectly. Having one less thing to worry about on such a chaotic day is worth so much more than words can say.

    To say that he kept our guests entertained is a vast understatement. I am still receiving compliments about that day, over a year later. The music selection can single-handedly make or break an event, so choosing a DJ can sometimes be an anxiety-ridden task, especially if you are considering a DJ that you have not personally seen in action. I am here to assure you that you are in very capable hands with LCE and I can promise you will not regret your decision. He is able to read the crowd and cater to exactly what they are responding to, and somehow finds a way to engage every guest, from young to old.

    I can not express enough how happy we are with our decision! We will continue to recommend LCE to friends, family, and anyone who will listen!

    My wife and I love music.
    We needed a DJ for our wedding who was going to be fun, hip, classic and cool.
    A difficult task for sure, but our guests span across four generations, so what are you gonna do?
    Hire Craig Edelson.


    Craig did a phenomenal job Emceeing and DJing our super special day.
    Craig worked with us prior to the big day and made sure that he had a very good idea of what we wanted to hear - spoiler alert, he delivered.


    Craig was punctual for the big day, and throughout the reception, the announcements were delivered on time, the event ran smooth, we felt at ease, and everybody had a GREAT time.
    It was in no small part due to what Craig did for us, and he somehow made it look easy.
    When you see kids, parents, grandparents and friends all moving on the dance floor, you know it was a damn good party.
    We highly recommend Craig.
    He was awesome.

    Craig was by far the perfect DJ for us! He was the first DJ we met with in person and we knew we didn't need to look any further. We live in Atlanta and had our wedding in Bluffton, SC so the distance was a bit of a challenge when it came to planning everything. Craig was incredibly flexible to arrange meeting times and locations since we weren't in Bluffton very often, and he was one of our most responsive vendors throughout the planning process which put us at ease. We used his online planning tool to create a personalized playlist and more importantly...a do not play list, which was awesome. We even asked for certain songs to begin playing at specific second marks, which he was able to do flawlessly!

    The up-lighting he provided was absolutely beautiful and his DJ booth was very professional looking. The additional dance lights made for some great party pictures and everyone had an excellent time. Craig was an amazing DJ and we were amazed as to how in-tune he was with our wedding guests and the mood of the dance crowd. He definitely kept the party going! We loved working with Craig Edelson and would confidently recommend him to anyone.
