  absolutely wonderful experience with Luca

  Hiring Luca was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. From beginning to end he was a joy to work with in all ways, and his photography of our celebration is exquisite. I am VERY picky when it comes to photography and all my expectations were exceeded by Luca and his work. Many of our guests have commented that his work is the best wedding photography they've ever seen: he captures a spirit and a beauty that feels authentic and alive, and is the opposite of overly staged cookie cutter wedding photography. He's also a delight to be around: classy, fun, thoughtful and game for anything. We had some quite specific requests and he made everything work. For example, we did not want to hear or see a camera during our ceremony, wanting it to be quite intimate. Undaunted, Luca on his own initiative climbed a tree (!) so that he could give us the intimacy we desired while also capturing the photo he knew we'd want. Additionally, we didn't want to spend much time on formal portraits, and so Luca managed what has to be the the fastest group portrait session known to mankind--and yet got pictures where everyone has eyes open and looks good! He just has a great willingness to make whatever happens work: during our reception, we had an epic hailstorm (in June!) and Luca without complaint and with joy kept right on snapping away and ensuring we'd remember that wild turn of events. His rates are extremely fair for the many hours he provides. He also offers a great deal for bringing on a second photographer, which we almost didn't do and are so glad that we did. We also had Luca come for two hours and take pics at our night-before gathering, and we highly recommend that, as it gave us a chance to meet and get a feel for each other, plus get some more gorgeous pics. Luca has our standout recommendation with no reservations, just enthusiasm.

  Perfect photographer for our Tuscan wedding

  Amazing experience!

  We were coming from NYC to get married in Italy and Luca was the perfect match for us. He was very professional and helped a lot with how and where to pose. Our wedding photos came out to be everything we wanted and more. We would recommend Luca for any of your photography needs!

  Easy going, creative and flexible !

  It was great working with Luca for our small family wedding in Tuscany. Luca provided direction and suggestions for the perfect pictures across the city where we got married. The combination of those ideal settings and the more candid, intimate moments have provided us with the perfect mementos from our special day. Luca was easy going and fun to work with. Would recommend!

  Phenomenal photographer

  I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Luca. My husband and I had a small destination wedding in Sicily. Luca photographed us the entire wedding day, making everyone feel incredibly comfortable and like he was part of the family. The candid photos he captured showed this. The final photographs exceeded our expectations and are something our whole family will cherish for generations. Thank you, Luca, you’re truly the best!

  Attentive to our needs and very professional

  When we were looking for a photographer for our wedding we were unsure we would find the right person as frankly, we aren't very comfortable in front of the camera! Fortunately, after a few exchanges with Luca we knew that he understood how we felt and would make us feel at ease on our bid day. Indeed for most of the evening I wasn't aware Luca was even there as he simply captured hundreds of beautiful photos of our guests that were natural and informal and communicated the sense of joy and celebration. I would absolutely recommend Luca for weddings in the future, particularly for weddings which have English guests and for couples who are a bit camera shy!

  The best photographer we could have wished for!

  Luca was a fantastic person to work with. Super professional, friendly, he has always put us at ease even in particularly tense and exciting moments. His photos are fantastic, he was able to capture the magic of our location, of the sunset, and even of the night set-up. All our guests and family members had a great time with him, he is a very well organized professional, always present but also very discreet. And creative! We are very happy about the photos he gave us and that will always remain beautiful memories. I recommend it to all couples who want to enjoy their wedding trusting a great professional who in the meantime knows how to do his job very well. Beyond every expectation!

  Professional, very skilled and not least very trustworthy

  From the time we started the dialogue until we got the pictures, Luca was very professional. He also made us relax by his pleasant manner and most of the time we did not even notice that he was there, but we still got beautiful pictures.

  Really, all you need to know is this: At least 10 people have told us that we had the most beautiful wedding photos they had ever seen and that our wedding looked like a storybook dream.
  
  My now-husband and I eloped to Italy for our wedding. We knew that finding a quality photographer was high on our list. We scoured the internet and based on his portfolio and email responses, we selected Luca Tibberio as our photographer. Prior to the day of our wedding, we never spoke to Luca making us very apprehensive. "What if he's not kind.. what if he's pushy.." Working with Luca was so enjoyable. His style is to "just be yourself" with some guidance. Looking at his portfolio, you will see this. None of the pictures he takes appear "staged" or "inauthentic". Another concern we had regarding Luca was that he never photographed in the location we had select. He has a PHENOMENAL eye and was able to identify places with great lighting and unique features that resulted in the most beautiful pictures.   Luca was totally understanding in regards to our non-traditional approach. He was super friendly and we didnt even notice him on the day. He even surprised us with some great aerial shots .
