  I had my trial with Lucy's Beauty Bar months before the wedding. I loved getting to work with Whitney and her team so far in advance because it helped me picture my look with plenty of time to plan and change my mind if I needed to. The cost was reasonable for our big group, too. Including myself, we had 11 women get either hair or make-up or both done. Whitney was quick to call me when I had concerns and they helped us get WAY ahead of schedule on the day of the wedding. Each of the bridesmaids got free eye lashes and had a great experience. They worked with us in our tiny hotel room and did a great job! Super flexible and aware of time.

  Whitney came all the way to Bainbridge Island to help do hair and makeup. She, along with two other stylists- Teri & Molly, did a fabulous job! Everyone looked amazing and they were super efficient. I was beyond satisfied with the way my hair and makeup looked. They did airbrushing on everyone and fake eyelashes that actually look real (my videographer even commented on them). They were very friendly and talented, able to figure out exactly what each bridesmaid wanted for their hair.

  Whitney and Terese were so great. I did a lot of shopping around, looking for a hair and makeup team. What I was finding just seemed way over price and I was THIS CLOSE to doing my own hair.
  
  HOWEVER, I found Desert Glamour and they were awesome-sauce. Their prices were the best I found for the package I wanted. When I contacted Whitney inquiring about her services she was prompt and thorough. When I did the trial, I was really impressed and communicated exactly what I wanted to tweak - I felt comfortable to do so!
  
  Whitney also created a schedule to keep my bridesmaids on top of things and when I got to the house I was getting ready at, all my bridesmaids looked SO GREAT. They looked like themselves, but unique and formal hair and makeup - nothing too out of the ordinary or weird.
  
  Prompt, efficient, good hair, good makeup and nice prices. You're silly not to use Desert Glamour for your special day.

  I hired Whitney to do makeup for me and my three bridesmaids. She was responsive to texts and emails (usually responded within a few hours if not sooner), and showed up a little early to set everything up. Her prices were affordable, and her work is impeccable. I would absolutely hire her again for a wedding, and I would recommend her to anyone having a Vegas wedding.

  I found Desert Glamour on various sites and saw they had good reviews so I decided to book with them for my wedding party. We had a fairly big wedding party and most of us rarely wear makeup so I was a little concerned that I would not look myself the day of the wedding. Whitney and her team made us look amazing from the foundation to the false lashes (which were so much fun and people commented on how amazing my eyes looked) everyone was really happy with the work they did. I wasn't sure how I wanted my hair and so Whitney suggested a style with a braid incorporated and it was so beautiful. The makeup artist was amazing, I am very picky on how I like my liner and eyeshadow so I brought a picture and it was just as I wanted. I had one teen junior bridesmaid who she made look gorgeous and age appropriate and I especially appreciated the time she spent with our flower girl making her feel like she was part of the experience. I am so glad that I was able to find someone reasonably priced that did an amazing job!

  I typically don't write reviews but the one thing that was important to me that I decided to splurge on was hair and makeup for me and my two bridesmaids. Whiitney and Terese came and did our hair and makeup for my wedding and I could not have been more pleased. They arrived early and were ready to start on two of us and had us done in 2 hours.   Whitney and her crew are amazing! They are very professional and know their stuff. My wedding hair and make up lasted more than 10 hours. All of my girls were very pleased. Last minute I asked to add my sister in laws, and she said no problem. We couldn't believe airbrush AND eyelash application were included!! She also did a trial run for me and my bridesmaids, as well as a few additional girls for my bachelorette party. Whitney did a hair bow on one of the girls for fun...clever! We had an amazing time!!

  Whitney was fantastic! She traveled to our hotel on short notice to help us with hair and makeup for my wedding. She was friendly and worked very quick. I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married in the Las Vegas area! Thank you Whitney!!!

  Whitney completed my hair and makeup for me and my bridal party and I was thrilled with the results! My makeup was flawless and lasted all day long. My hair was pulled up and there wasnt a hair out of place all night. I received so many compliments and felt like a beautiful bride. Me and my mom had our trial run before our actual wedding so we had the chance to change minds. She was really flexible I thought my hair and make-up was perfect! I am so glad I chose her for my wedding/bridals! I will definitely recommend her to everyone!!

  Whitney is extremely responsive and punctual. I booked Whitney for me and four of my girls. She brought a makeup artist to help. I didn't think her assistant was as skilled. She didn't know the right colors or the right products to apply. I think some of my bridesmaids ended up adding their eye shadows and glosses to touch up the make up artist's work.

  One of my best friends used this vendor for her wedding in 2014, and I was one of her seven bridesmaids. It was my first time getting my makeup professionally done, and I had a good experience overall. My face naturally gets more oily throughout the day, so the airbrush makeup didn't last too long in keeping my face matte. It was also my first time wearing false eyelashes, which was different. I loved the way they looked, but it felt like my eyelids were lifting weights the entire day.
  
  I got engaged recently and thought to use this vendor for my wedding day hair and makeup, and for my bridesmaids' makeup. Unfortunately, their prices increased: from $160 for hair and makeup for the bride to $200, from $50 for makeup only per bridesmaid to $70, and from $0 for a travel fee to $20 (which I negotiated down to $10). Also unfortunately but wisely on their part, none of my four bridesmaids wanted to pay $70 to get their makeup professionally done, and this vendor requires a $400 minimum for weddings regardless of in-salon or on-location, so ultimately I had to pass on them.
  
  Another note: while my friend got responses from this vendor quickly through multiple forms of communication two years ago, for me it was not the same. It took anywhere between three hours to five days to get a response, more often on the longer side. I had to send follow-up emails at least three times to get a reply, and I called twice to see if they had received my messages after no response for three days. I started to feel too demanding, but I knew that as a potential client, I deserved to get at least some level of professionalism.
