We were very please with Henry Wang as our photographer during our wedding. He was very professional and we really appreciated his down-to-earth personality. Wedding can be quite stressful at times and Henry was very laid back and made us feel very comfortable since my wife and I are pretty awkward with taking photos. He's also very flexible and if you have any special location or particular type of photos you like taken, he will make it happen. (i.e. He got drenched trying to take a clashing wave shot for us by the cove)
His prices were also very reasonable and I felt we got more than what we bargained for.We were very please with Henry Wang as our photographer during our wedding. He was very professional and we really appreciated his down-to-earth personality. Wedding can be quite stressful at times and Henry was very laid back and made us feel very comfortable since my wife and I are pretty awkward with taking photos. He's also very flexible and if you have any special location or particular type of photos you like taken, he will make it happen. Henry did an amazing job doing our engagement and wedding photography. He's professional and has a great attitude. It was great to work with him for our engagement photos. And on the day of the wedding, it felt like it was going to be a stressful day, but his sense of humor was a nice welcome to our wedding party. The pictures were excellent and we received lots of compliments. The photo booth they provided was well done compared to others I've seen. The photo book he created for us was also superb and very high quality! We were very pleased using his services and would highly recommend to anyone.

This review is for Mr. Henry Wang Photography. Henry was a pleasure to work with. From the first time we met him, my husband and I knew we would love working with him! He did our engagement session which was amazing and so much fun. His professionalism and ease to work with make his services so great for a stressed out bride. In addition to his photography, we also used their quick photo booth, which was a big hit at our wedding. It was fast and fun! I cannot say enough great things about Lucy's Bridal! Henry is an amazing and talented photographer - he has such a great personality and is so easy to work with! His wife Jenny also works in the bridal shop and she is so patient and so sweet in helping me find the right wedding dress and chi pao. In fact, their entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Mandy did my alterations and she did such a great job. Their wedding packages are super affordable and on our wedding day and during the day of our engagement photos, Henry really went above and beyond! My husband and I are extremely pleased with our photos from Henry and we've recommended...I cannot say enough great things about Lucy's Bridal! Henry is an amazing and talented photographer - he has such a great personality and is so easy to work with! My husband and I had a wedding photoshoot session with Henry at Lucy's Bridal & Photography. We are proud to say that the experience was MORE THAN ENJOYABLE, as Henry was fun and easy to work with. He was very professional in explaining why he chose certain shots, background, locations, and even poses. We were only in LA for Christmas vacation, so we gave Henry only a few hours to work with. It just so happened that I had a 104 degree fever with a bad headache and non-stop running nose on that day. We didn't want to reschedule, so Henry worked very quickly, giving us hundreds of photos (5 different outfits), and I didn't even look sick in...My husband and I had a wedding photoshoot session with Henry at Lucy's Bridal & Photography. We are proud to say that the experience was MORE THAN ENJOYABLE, as Henry was fun and easy to work with. They were also very considerate to make sure that I didn't get any sicker. At the end of our session, we felt like we became friends with Henry and Jenny. We had lots of fun with them and are VERY PLEASED with the final product. Highly recommended!!! -

What can I say? Henry is the best and everyone at the shop are friendly and helpful. Henry did my wedding and pre-wedding photos and all of the pictures came out great. Henry is very easy to work with. Renee also did an awesome job with my wife's make-up. Additionally, she came to the venue and saved us from driving around during the big day. Henry has an unlimited artistic vision. He is always full of ideas to get the best shot. I can guarantee that Henry will be a lifelong friend and be the only choice for any of my future photo shoots.What can I say? Henry is the best and everyone at the shop are friendly and helpful. Love this place!! We were recommended by a friend and was grateful they did. The staff were friendly and helpful. Henry and Jenny are very personable and helpful. I knew I wanted Henry as my photographer right after we visited him. He was our wedding and engagement pic photographer.
We went to greystone mansion and staples center for our engagement pics. The staff helped me pick out different gowns to wear for the photo shoot. They were helpful and gave me good suggestions. The pictures were awesome!!! Didn't know there could be that many different wonderful shots in one place.
Our wedding was in January. Pictures came out lovely and wonderful. Very natural. Henry also...Love this place!! We were recommended by a friend and was grateful they did. I walked into Lucy's because I was killing time for before the gym. I had my heart set on a dress at David's Bridal that was $1,000, but I didn't want to spend that much. While in Lucy's a dress caught my eye that was similar, but so much more unique. I tried it on and it fit PERFECTLY and I bought it on the spot. It is a mermaid style with beaded detail and fitted bodice. I got so many compliments on the dress because it wasn't a carbon copy of everything else that was on the market. I loved the uniqueness of it! Off the sale rack, the dress was just under $200, which is practically unheard...I walked into Lucy's because I was killing time for before the gym. After buying it the staff was so helpful and steamed it and repaired a few of the beaded areas that had come loose from people trying it on!!!... did I mention they did it for free!?
I asked about veils and the staff helped me choose my fabric, hairpiece attachment etc... They had me wear the dress and measured where the veil would fall and explained the benefits of various lengths. I chose a veil that was floor length so that it would float nicely in the breeze on the beach where I was married. Lucy's made me the perfect veil with a pearl embelished fixture for less that half of what everyone else was charging.
If you're on a budget and want to get quality work at an affordable price (veils, dresses, tailoring...) GO TO LUCY'S!

He was the Best Photographer! We interviewed/screened about 5 others, but his pictures were the best and with reasonable price and packages. Everyone and I mean Everyone loved him we got feedback from everyone telling us how great our photographer was and how amazing he was. Unbelievable! He has such a great personality and is very professional as well. I would most definitely refer him to anyone.He was the Best Photographer! We had our engagement photo session with Henry, Jenny and Audi. It was long day but we didn't really feel it because Henry made the experience so enjoyable. Our album looked awesome. Esther was super nice too. :) I loved working with them. We will be coming back for baby photos.

Lucy's Bridal is a great deal and cater to the Asian market. We went there for my bridal gown and Kwa (Traditional Chinese Wedding Attire for the Bride) and rented Tuxes for our entire party!! Their tux rental is done through After Hours and is much, much cheaper than After Hours themselves. The lady who helped me is Mandy - she's awesome so if you decide to look into Lucy's Bridal, be sure to ask for her!! (I believe you can also take studio photos and they will do your hair and make-up... but I'm a live-on-the-scene kinda bride, so I didn't look into that part of their business).Lucy's Bridal is a great deal and cater to the Asian market. Henry is great and is fun to work with. His makeup artist is not as flexible, and is slightly bossy/pushy. We went to Lucys and love the way they do wedding and engagement photos. They are just so creative! The staffs there are super friendly. For the engagement session, we got their special promo which included a whole day's photo shoot, 30 retouched high res. digital photo files, a beautifully designed 15 page spread 9.5" x 13" photo album consisting the 30 selected images, and a 24"x30" framed photo canvas. Each additional photo file cost $15 (retouched).
After seeing how awesome our engagement photos turned out, we were so happy that we booked Henry to take our wedding photos too and I have to say that it was one of the best investment we ever made. He's a fun guy and has a great personality. He kept us feeling comfortable and happily entertained the whole time. Of course, we were able to bargain over the price considering that we got a package deal.
You can also rent gorgeous wedding gowns and bridesmaids dresses from Lucys for less than $500 for 3 gowns. Jenny is such a doll and gave me a price that I just couldn't refuse and the best part is she allowed me to rent out a brand new, never before rented, wedding gown that I just felt in love with. Their seamstress is great to work with and is very accommodating to my every need. Definitely will continue to recommend to other bride-to-bes! -

I am so glad I rented my dress from Lucy's Bridal. The dress was in perfect condition when I got it and everyone complimented me on it after the ceremony. The only tricky thing is communicating with the women who work there. If your Mandarin Chinese is not great, you might have a little trouble with communication. There is one woman there who speaks perfect English but she is not always around.
I highly recommend renting the wedding dress because of 1) the cost; 2) alterations, cleaning, and even the veil is included; 3) you don't have to find a place to store the huge heavy dress after the wedding (along with the tons of registry presents).I am so glad I rented my dress from Lucy's Bridal. The photographer, Henry, was awesome. He knew what angles to take and he even tells you if you need to fix your dress or get a touch up on your make up.
