Booking Luma Weddings is the best decision I made when planning my wedding. Kyle is the best photographer we ever worked with. Very professional and he is on time whatever he does. He took pics for our destination wedding in Seattle and we couldn't thank him enough for such an amazing job capturing our moments. We got our photos in LESS THAN 3 WEEKS. We have SO MANY compliments on our wedding photos and thank to him that our dream of having forest wedding came true. If you are debating, book him!!! We are so happy!!! Thank you Kyle! -

Saved the day!
Kendra was amazing and quite literally saved the day when my original photographer got pneumonia the day of my wedding. Kendra was insanely flexible and accommodating and drove 3 hours to make sure I had a photographer. She did an incredible job with the photos and everyone raved about how beautiful they were! I particularly loved some of the candids that she got of my bridesmaids and I getting ready and on the dance floor. So thankful for Kendra! -

Luma Wedding caught my eyes with pictures after pictures of true smiles on brides & grooms faces. I have searched so many wedding photographers, and there're tons of options. Luma Wedding really burnt in my mind. Kyle is super funny, super nice, super organize, lightening speed email response, super professional, and etc. I can't be any happier with the experiences with Kyle on the day of my wedding and engagement pictures. I got to share my pictures a week after my wedding, while everyone still remembers.(Horray!!) All my family and friends are REALLY satisfied & excited with how the pictures turned out. I can't wait to have him capture many many more of our life moments! :D

We booked Luma Weddings over 2 years ago during our engagement. I found Kyle on Facebook on and he was quick to respond after I asked the Bride who took her photos. My husband and I knew right away that we wanted him to capture our day. We even looked at multiple different photographers just to make sure and still gravitated to Luma Weddings. We received our photos less then 3 weeks after our wedding and let me tell you, they are breathtaking. Kyle was so helpful, a great communicator and easy going! If we had another wedding, we'd book him again in a heart beat! -

Book Kyle for your wedding - you won't regret it!
Thank you so so much to Kyle at Luma Weddings for creating the most stunning wedding photos that perfectly captured our day. The mix of gorgeous portrait shots that family love and the natural, in the moment shots that are favourites of mine and Matthew's is ideal.
We were bowled over with how quickly Kyle was there to help us at any given point to make the process as reassuring as possible. His use of online platforms to keep everything organised and easy to access is great, and of course his skill as a photographer is unquestionably professional.
Kyle was one choice of 4 different photographers available to use as part of our elopement package at TreeHouse Point and his work was a cut above the rest, making it such an easy decision to use his services. He knows the venue inside out and makes it so easy to get the perfect shots. We knew we were in safe hands with his direction.

Choosing a photographer for our wedding was one of the biggest and most important decisions we made throughout the planning process. We did not have a videographer and we had an "unplugged ceremony" so we knew we would be relying on our photographer to capture the day. I started our search for a photographer a little late into the process so when I found Luma Weddings I thought there was NO way our mid-summer wedding date would be available, but I emailed him right away to see if by some miracle it was. Within less than an hour or so Kyle had returned my email and even followed up with a text to let me know our date was, magically, still available. We booked him right away and are SO happy we did.
Living out of state, we chose not to do engagement photos, so the first time we met Kyle was on our wedding day, which I'll admit was a little nerve wracking. BUT, he was so awesome and flexible, laid back and easy-going, and great at directing us on how to pose (which we needed as we are both a little awkward in front of a camera). We had given him a timeline of the day and myself and my bridesmaids hair and makeup took WAY longer than expected. We were over an hour late on our timeline, but that didn't seem to phase Kyle. He was able to make up for lost time and directed our whole bridal party quickly and efficiently. He got AMAZING photos of our bridal party, our first look, and couple photos before the ceremony. He also took amazing photos during the ceremony and captured all the special little moments (from so many different angles - not sure how he did that as we did not notice him at all during the ceremony). And he and his lovely wife, Haley, coordinated family photos right after the ceremony - they helped coordinate and get them done quickly (and they're beautiful) so we could get back to mingling during cocktail hour.
I could go on and on, but in summary, our photos are INCREDIBLE, Kyle was very professional and laser-focused on getting all the good shots, and we can't thank him enough. Hire him and there is no way you'll be disappointed! -

Choosing Luma weddings was one of the best decisions I made. After talking with other photographers, I found Kyle to be friendly, prompt (even when I wasn't), and incredibly easy to work with. His professionalism and several years of experience was apparent from the get go as he asked insightful questions to ensure that he understood our vision for the wedding. He also made my husband feel comfortable in front of a camera, which is no easy feat and made for some beautiful pictures. He was open to suggestions and made sure that our day ran smoothly. I would absolutely recommend Luma weddings to anyone who is looking for professional photographer for photos that will be beautiful not only today, but for many years to come. -

Great energy, quick turn around, stunning photos
My husband and I got married by helicopter elopement in Canada, and I knew Kyle would be the photographer for us after seeing his gallery of outdoor and adventure weddings. He was easy to work with, very responsive, has great energy, and took stunning photos of our special day. If I could get married twice, I'd choose him to be our photographer again. -

Megan Sent on 10/01/2018Kyle was the most professional, fun, and creative director we could've had. He kept us on time, was direct, and super kind at the same time. He also pushed me to do some more creative and "artsy" shots which I am happy I did but wouldn't have normally thought of or done without him. I don't have my photos just yet because the wedding just ended, but I've seen a few and they a phenomenal. 10/10 would hire him again. Luma & Lavender day-of coordinating also contributed to our perfect wedding weekend.

Stop looking! Book him!
Kyle is so talented & professional! He was on time & he knew exactly what needed to be done without overwhelming you.
His creativity & knowledge gave our vision life & we are so happy to have found him. Being on the east coast did not hinder his excellent communication & his detailed layouts for every step needed; because of this, it assured us that our day would be nothing less than perfect!
His direction & knowledge let us trust his ideas & suggestions without feeling like we weren’t ourselves. He was able to tell our story in a way we never thought possible & we are forever grateful that Kyle made us feel comfortable during the process!
Our pictures came in soon after the wedding & were edited beautifully. Our pictures are like fairytale come true!
Don’t think about it too much, you won’t be disappointed!! -

Kaity Sent on 10/09/2018Wedding photos are such an important part of the day in my opinion because they are what you will be looking at for years to come, not the video or the pictures your family got on their phones, you want to be looking at professional photos. So when searching for the right photographer to shoot our day, I was so happy I stumbled on Luma Weddings. I couldn't have been happier, from looking at Kyle's portfolio it was the exact aesthetic I was going for. During the day Kyle was very helpful in telling us where to go what to do if we were looking lost. I highly recommend doing the first look, Kyle made it easy for us, we were able to have authentic photos without the worry of our guests watching us. He also was quick for the family photos, so he was able to use the time that we booked him for wisely, we didn't want to be scrambling for all of the lost family members so he was quick about it and then we were off to the reception that he captured some great photos! And after the wedding we were able to get our photos in under a month which was amazing! I couldn't recommend Kyle enough!! Thank you for the amazing photos!!

Bryndis Sent on 09/08/2018Kyle was a fantastic photographer and we were so happy we hired him. We actually also hired his wife, Haley, as our coordinator, and they were such an awesome team. We met Kyle for the first time on our wedding day and we could tell we made a great choice. He was on top of every moment, capturing everything all while we didn't even notice he was there. We had given him a list ahead of time of all the family photos we wanted, and he was so efficient at getting those done.
I was slightly stressed before the wedding about photo locations, because there weren't a ton of options around our venue. I ran through a bunch of options with Kyle and he was honest about why certain locations don't work well for photos - I'm glad he didn't just blindly go with what we wanted, because we may have been disappointed. But then on the day of, he just took care of everything and I forgot about ever having stressed about anything! After the family photos he led the bridal party around and did all kinds of fun shots.
Then, only 2.5 short weeks after our wedding we got our hundreds of edited photos back, all online to review and download as we pleased, and we are OBSESSED to say the least. All of our family is raving about the photos, I can't stop looking through them, and every time I look through them I catch some new little detail that makes them so special. We will cherish these for years and years to come, and we are so happy with having chosen Kyle as our photographer.Luma Weddings's reply:

Where do I even begin?! I’m not sure about you, but I spent a lot of time researching and reaching out to many, many, and I mean MANY photographers seeing which would be the right fit for not only the wedding, but all the moments leading up to the big day that I’ve always dreamt of.
The #1 thing I always told myself I’d be willing to spend the most money and splurge on - was and still is a photographer! As my dad has always taught me, “you get what you pay for!” And boy, was this no exception! Kyle Goldie was and still is one of the BEST decisions I made. He goes above and beyond his job duties! Not only does he make you feel like you’re his most important client, but his communication is bar-none, the BEST in the business! With having a two year engagement; he was on top of my every question, concern and even brought ideas and suggestions to the table that I didn’t think of! No matter what the time of day it was! Not only did he get the moments I didn’t think of, but was even willing to make my bucket list of photo ops come to life, in our own way! I still can’t believe how many precious moments he captured on our special day. I’m talking hundreds upon hundred of amazing photos!
We had an untraditional wedding and it was a bit of an adventure getting to the ceremony site, some hiccups along the way but when I had my moments of panic him and his beautiful wife, Haley Goldie were there to calm my nerves and ease any stress I was having.
I still remember when we were at our engagement shoot and he had told us that most couples only walk away with one or two favorites, but when we received our photos I was overwhelmed with joy at how many photos we absolutely LOVED! The wedding photos were no exception!

Shellin Sent on 08/10/2018Kyle, you are hands down the best person we hired and worked with during our entire wedding planning! Our journey started with our engagement photoshoot and even though we had to reschedule a couple times due to inclement snow and torrential downpour you didn’t let that bother you. Even though we were bummed after travelling for hours, you took advantage of the time to have an impromptu photoshoot in the rain at no additional cost. You are extremely talented, professional and just down-to-earth cool. Not to mention your wife, Hailey, is the most hilarious person and you both have a great dynamic together. Thank you for capturing the most beautiful and timeless photos during our wedding. You were such an ease to work with and you knew exactly where to go, what to do and managed your time so effectively that we were early on schedule! In the end, you asked us if we wanted any last shots before the end of the night and Justin and I took this opportunity to have an impromptu dance in the alley outside. This was one of the most memorable and special moments for Justin and I to share and we can now reminisce on that for years to come. Not to mention Kyle delivered our photos in lightning fast time. We asked for a few highlight pics to thank our parents with, but he surprised us with ALL the photos within a week and a half of the wedding!! Thank you so much for everything, you are seriously the BEST of the best!!!
