    Design your dream wedding dress with NO STRESS!

    I was quite skeptical about ordering wedding dresses online and I'm sure many other brides feel the same I mean, this is YOUR wedding dress we're talking about. After constant researching I found LUNSS and I am so glad I did because I got to design my dream wedding dress which arrived today and it turned out exactly how I wanted it. I am quite picky when it comes to dresses and I love extravagant looks so you can definitely trust Lunss to create whatever you want. I highly recommend them if you're after your dream dress at an affordable price. When I queried my dress with another designer company they quoted me $12,000USD. Lunss was able to create the exact same dress for not even half of that price! The whole experience was absolutely stressed free. My designer Tansy was brilliant - communicated well and was always there to answer my million questions. She has created me 2 dresses for my wedding and I will update this review with photo's after my wedding.

    Brilliant service!

    So i was sceptical at first but the end result was amazing and everything I wanted. I wanted a wedding dress that was my own design so I sent some sketches to Tansy who was my designer and all the details I wanted. I asked for a two piece wedding dress with corset top, detachable spaghetti straps, and a mermaid skirt. It was a pale blue/silvery satin with ivory lace. I was really impressed with the end result at such a good price. Brilliant service, very friendly, and always kept me up to date with how it was going. Everyone wanted to know where I got it. I loved the fact that I got to design it and have it exactly how I wanted. Love my dress!

    Absolute Perfect Dress. My Daughter was a Sparkling Princess!!

    My Daughter received so many compliments about this dress. I uploaded the pictures to Facebook and everyone loved the dress. It is so beautiful and sparkly in person. She was worried about it being itchy with all the sequins and it was not a bit itchy! There was 2 separate linings inside all the way from top to bottom. She said it was so comfortable!!
    She found the dress of her dreams in a store, but it was too big at the top, too long, the belt was messed up without a way to latch and the beading was coming loose at the neckline. They only had one in but she loved it! It was priced at $399.00, then by the time that we would have had the alterations completed it would have been another $100 at least. We had the same exact dress, custom made by LUNSS, to her exact measurements, for about half the price. Nancy was so nice and patient and answered all my questions and concerns.
    This is the 3rd Prom Dress that I have had made by LUNSS. The first 2 Tansy was my designer and this time we had Nancy and both were a pleasure to work with.
    A couple of suggestions:
    1. Start early!! If your Prom is in March or April, start in December or January with your customization! This year I was worried because I didn't realize the Prom would be on March 9th, it was usually in mid April. We started the customization on February 5th and received the Dress on March 7th. We paid extra for Express Delivery, but it was so worth it!!
    2. Do not just order the size you normally wear, ALWAYS CUSTOMIZE!! You will be much happier with your dress and will not have to have it altered at all. It will fit like a glove straight out of the package. There are not many people in the world that have the same size at the top as you do at the bottom.
    3.. Please either have someone professional do your measurements correctly or look at the size guide with description and pictures of where exactly to measure and have someone else measure you! Do not try to measure yourself, your measurements will be wrong and you will not be happy with your dress!
    4. Always have the built in bra added!! :-)

    The Princess exist

    When I got my dress I was absolutely stumped how exactly the same product they made for with little customization that I wanted as to perfect amount. The material is so nice, each and every bead/pearl on the dress gives you feeling of hands with patience in it, very smooth and neat work. I didn't expect anything but excellency during the process of my ordering and making, I felt so much in ease, all the measurements fit me like I was standing infront of their eyes and settled super correctly on each part of my skin.

    The customer service was thoughtful and perfect, and the quality of the fabric and craftsmanship were above expectation. The price is affordable and totally worth it! Shipment was fast too. Can't wait to order agin for my next formal occasion!

    I ordered a wedding dress from them. It was exactly how I expected it to be, the design was incredible and it was super similar to the original but more expensive version. I am sure that it was professionally prepared.
    Additionally, I ordered wedding veil, headpiece. All of them are super.

    Got the beautiful wedding dress from this amazing site! About four weeks to get it and at a very great price! The dress is amazing quality and exactly what I designed. I was more than satisfied. Customer service was awesome. Everyone keep asking where I bought this wedding dress. I would like to share my comments then start popping up from friends and friends of friends. BTW, I shared some beautiful pictures on their website already lol.

    Great service & perfect for a custom dress

    Tansy has been a pleasure to work with when designing my wedding dress. I have been struggling to find the perfect wedding dress and was excited to come across Lunss to have a dress customised to suit my specific requirements.

    The communication was excellent throughout the process and Tansy provided all the different recommendations and options available for me to choose from.

    I had some extra time so was willing to to take a risk for the desired outcome.

    The final photos that were sent over did not look as I would have liked it to on the mannequin but when I received the dress it looked AMAZING on so don’t always judge the photos.

    I would highly recommend Lunss Couture if you are looking for a custom wedding dress to suit your needs.
    This does take time and patience so I would also suggest that you allow some time for the process if this is something you choose to do.

    Quick service

    I originally had another company do my custom dress, they cancelled on me due to timing. I found Lunss and they were quick and responsive. The only issue was measuring at home is difficult and I still had to get it altered

    Poor customer Service!!!

    Poor customer service

    so I ordered a dress to be a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding. The wedding is in March, so I ordered in November. The dress arrived thanksgiving day, but it arrived with no packing slip and none of the tags said anything other than the store's name.

    As soon as I got the package open I tried it on but it wouldn't zip up. and it wasn't just a little too small, I had 7 inches of gap in the back. There was no way I was going to get this dress to zip or to get a tailor to make it wearable. They would need to add a whole panel of fabric to it and after everything, color matching and all that it would never look right.

    I let my mother try on the dress, just in case I was going a bit crazy. I wear and ordered a size 14, my mother is a size 8/ the dress was tight on her, but it zipped.

    So I emailed about getting the next size up, very nicely that hey, I think the wrong dress came to me, (because even the color didn't match the bride's swatch that she had gotten about a month ago) but all I got back was that yes, they had sent the right dress and to please send them photos of my measurements to verify the mistakes with the dress.

    So I did, in my bra and panties I stood in my bathroom and took close up photos of the measuring tape, twisting the tape a bit to get a straight on photo of the numbers...

    The email I got back was that I wasn't measuring in the right spot and I needed to get the measurements done by a seamstress. So once again I headed to the bathroom, in a full length mirror, taking almost naked photos of myself measuring myself and being careful not to move the tape for the photos, I send what some countries would call porn to a dress maker over the internet. ( mind you the dress is still the wrong color)

    I am worried I may have to buy a whole new dress, still in the wrong color and even if I do, the dress will also come and be the wrong size. If that's the case I will be out over $300 for clothes I can't even wear. This dress was not customized, I ordered a size 14, just a size 14, no additions, no alterations... nothing. So why is it so hard to get the dress sent back and get a different one?

    Sorry for the unpleasant shopping experience on Lunss.
    Please kindly do provide us the required information for return. We will check if our tailors made the dress in wrong size, and process refund then. We checked with our customer service dept.. You measured in wrong way at beginning, we can't tell if we made the dress wrong. From the precise measurements you provided later, we checked that you chose wrong size for yourself. Your body waistline and hipline are much bigger than the ones in our standard size US 14. If you chose US 14, for sure you can't wear this dress. Please do double check on this.
    All our dresses are made to order, and we only make dresses by following the size and color customers choose. If we make the dress wrong, we will be for sure to provide solution. But we need your kind cooperation to provide us the correct information.
    About our package, we have our own packing bag, and brand tag. We are sorry if you think it is not enough.

    Shoddy Unwearable Custom Order

    You are shown confirmation photos before your custom dress is shipped but be warned that the photos I was shown were VERY different from the original design and incredibly misleading.

    I was not told what dramatic deviations from the original design would be made AT ALL. The changes were only apparent after the order was accepted and the dress was already completed. By this point I could only receive a 40% refund. This leads me to believe they are happy to accept and shoddily attempt any custom design regardless of what they are actually capable of.

    The changes and functional issues were not obvious until the dress was delivered and tried on. The dress itself was too large and made to fit a generic mannequin, despite the measurements they requested/I sent it. The material is a cheap stretch fabric. The sleeves were an entirely different design that was nothing like that of the inspiration dress. The skirt of the dress moves and collects incredibly awkwardly (it looks like I'm smuggling a deflated bike tire in the hem of the skirt). When the dress is worn, within just a few minutes of walking, the top stretches, rolls, and pulls down exposing the top half of my body.

    These issues were not obvious from a posed photo on a still mannequin and make the dress completely non-functional as a dress.

    For customized orders, we always arrange a designer to check details before production. And provide clear finished dress photos to show the front and back design before shipping. If we make the dress wrong, we always guarantee to provide full refund or make a modification before shipping. Once the dress is shipped with your confirmation, we only process full refund if there is quality issue, or provide another solution if needed. And we remind all customers when they want to submit their own dress photos to let us duplicate : we are not the original designer of your shown dress, we don't and can't guarantee it will come out exactly the same as shown. For dress fabric, we never use cheap fabrics, and Stretch doesn't mean cheap. We believe that we shipped your dress after getting your confirmation. But we still offer you 40% refund even there is no quality issue after shipping. Thank you for your kind understanding.

    Please do not trust this company!!!

    I bought a custom dress for my wedding only to find out to my absolute horror that the dress was unlined, therefore unfinished, when I received it. It was virtually see through. I could not wear this dress to my wedding. This is after weeks of asking for them to refine the dress, add the details I’ve already asked for and fix terribly uneven pleats. Once I contacted them, they offered to send me a tube top bra (would not work because my dress had an deep v), or told me to mail it back (at my cost) and they would fix it (less than a month before my wedding), or they would make me another dress at 80% the cost of the fist dress they sent. Needless to say I could not use any of those options and ended up only getting a 20% refund. Now, 10 days before my wedding I was out hundreds of dollars and had no wedding dress. They then continued to argue with me that I should’ve figured out from their pictures on a white mannequin that there was no lining, and they didn’t list out they lined it so I should’ve caught that. Even though she told me in the beginning phases she would line the bodice. After, she proceeded to tell me the reason the dress in the picture I sent looked so good and was opaque was because of photo shop. I bought the original dress I sent over in photos to base my design on and it was EXPONENTIALLY better quality, bodice and skirt were fully lined, and it was less than $100 more than the custom dress. I made a massive mistake and am trying to prevent anyone else from the sleepless nights and panic attacks I had during the already stressful time of planning a wedding.

    lunss dealt with me in the worst way possible.

    lunss dealt with me in the worst way possible. i hate myself for trusting them, with my court wedding dress. since i cant afford ashi studio design . i figured i should ask these fools if they can sew me something similar . they assured me that they could sew the design, instead of just admitting that they cant do it . I received a horrible looking thing from them, that couldn't even fit me and they claim that it cant fit because I sent them the wrong measurements but they have nothing to say
    about the awful design they made. What they sent to me does not remotely look like the ashi design
    . They wrapped the dress like a piece of trash in a tiny bag .
    The packaging was so horrible that the boning of the petticoat inside was so badly bent that
    they could not get straight, even after 4hours of ironing , the boning never got back its shape.
    it was destroyed. I have asked them to even give me back half of the $350 I paid for this
    and they wont give me anything . i have been back and forth with them and my bank for months and
    they still wont give me anything...... I paid 350 dollars for gabbage.
    Even if this dress fit, it looks so horrible that its unwearable .
    Please everyone, learn from my mistake . DO NOT DO ANY KIND OF BUSINESS WITH THIS PEOPLE .
    THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND SEND YOU TRASH . i have attached 2 photos below.

    Horrible Customer Service

    Was really excited about this service, but the customer service is horrible. After the first dress did not match my requests, I paid an alteration fee to have it redone. I should have realized at this time to stay away- Lunss was incredibly difficult to work with and made me jump through a ton of loops (sending many photos of sizing, later requesting measurements from different points than originally requested so they could claim their dress matched the measurements, telling me later the actual product can differ by an inch in different places, etc.).

    Eventually, the new dress looked good in photos, but it arrived and the sizing was horrible and did not match my measurements (which I took myself and had professionally confirmed). Huge gaping in the chest area (not at an area requested for measurement). Again, Lunss requested a bunch of photos (and videos, which I thought was bizarre). My mom truly couldn't believe it was a custom made dress based on how off the fit was, or that it cost $330 based on the quality.

    I even offered to send the dress back for just a 50 percent refund because the whole process had become such a huge frustration (and I originally paid $330, plus $30 additional alterations for their mistake, whereas the dress this was based on only cost $210 for a longer length (gown vs. midi)). While this is a cool idea, stay far away until its backed up by reliable customer service. Huge chance you are wasting your money (and ruining something that should be a fun bridal experience!). Note also that the reviews on their website are not reliable- looks like they only post the positive ones.

    As we explained on your customization page and dispute you opened on Paypal, we always would like to solve the problem. But we need your kind cooperation to provide us required photos to videos to check if our tailor made mistake. Otherwise we can't move to the next step. You informed us that you would provide us the needed information after vocation, but at the same time opened a dispute on Paypal. We had to provide all evidence to Paypal, and Paypal made the final judged in our favor after checking our whole design process.

    As all of our dresses are hand-sewn and custom tailored, the finished gown may vary by about 1 inch (2-3 cm) in either direction of the specified measurements, which is mentioned in our Return Policy. All dresses on Lunss are truly custom-made by following your specific design request and your precise measurements. For sizing and fitting issue, we've been asking for the pictures and videos to check couple times if we really made mistake. We can't just provide refund after getting complaint without any evidence, since it is a customized item, which was completely designed and made only for you.
