Best Photographer
Lynn is the most talented woman on this earth I think. She made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable (which is something I thought would be impossible if we took professional pictures). Shooting with her is an absolute blast and an adventure to boot. So many people, some who I haven't spoken to in years, have reached out to me to tell me how beautiful our pictures are. She's got such an eye for light and you can tell how much she's worked to be as talented as she is. If I could only keep one element from my wedding day - I'd go with Lynn hands down. Book her immediately and you won't regret it! -

Lynn was amazing to work with from start to finish! She provided recommendations from places to stay to specific vendors for anything we may have wanted, which was sooo helpful especially since we are from out of state and don't know the area very well. We selected the locations we wanted and she knew exactly where to go to capture us within the beautiful scenery of Big Sur. She was also incredibly quick to respond and kept us updated on an unexpected park closure for a location we chose and even provided alternative options so we could still have the experience of going through the redwoods! She directed us as much as we wanted but knew exactly when to let us be ourselves and caught the moments of joy and pure happiness between us. We got sneak peeks the day after and got the rest in less than month after the date! We had her husband, Keith, officiate and his ceremony was beautiful. We didn't want anything overly traditional and he really nailed it! He really incorporated the spirituality and resilience of the redwoods and beauty surrounding us to keep us in the moment, which is exactly why we chose to elope in the redwoods. We are eternally grateful for both Lynn and Keith, for their part in making our day absolutely perfect and everything we could have hoped for! -

Highly recommend Lynn!
Lynn was amazing from the first time we reached out. We knew as soon as we got engaged Lynn was who we wanted for our photos and we couldn't be happier with how they turned out. She was very responsive and so helpful in setting up the timeline for the day. She knew exactly where to go for pictures in Big Sur and truly made our day special. Wedding photos can be an investment, but for us choosing Lynn was an easy decision based on her portfolio and knowledge of the Big Sur area! She is also so kind and thoughtful and someone you want as a part of your big day! Highly recommend! -

I randomly met Lynn through Reddit (back when we were imagining an October 2020 date - nope!) and I have to give my now-husband credit for introducing me to that platform, because I am SO glad to have met her. Others have said it, and I'll echo: Lynn is an incredibly talented photographer and a warm, wonderful human being. Both my husband and I are introverts and neither one of us are big 'picture people' but Lynn made us feel so comfortable, both during our engagement session and on our wedding day (even though she arrived right in the midst of a very stressful, ultimately abandoned exercise in double sided taping!). The engagement photos and the wedding sneak peeks we've received so far are just perfect - they are so joyful and authentic to who we are. Lynn bore with us through date changes, was so responsive throughout the entire process, and worked with us to make sure everything was the way we wanted it (e.g., making sure my husband's suit color stayed true to life in the photos). If you're considering working with Lynn, don't hesitate - get on her calendar if you can! -

Ryan Sent on 06/21/2018I don't even know where to start. Everything about working with Lynn was amazing that we can't pick just one thing. She really listened to our vision and was so easy to work with. I'm not super comfortable in front of the camera but she made me feel like a natural. After a while, we forgot she was even there (that is a good thing!). We got the pictures back SO FAST. She had a few teasers a few days later but then the next week we had them all! It was incredible. Everyone that has seen them told us how amazing our pictures are. I couldn't have imagined anyone else to photograph our wedding besides her. Thank you again Lynn!
(Hopefully we will get you for a pregnancy shoot in a few years!) -

Christa Sent on 05/30/2018Off all the decisions I made for my wedding this past April, the best one was Lynn Lewis. SHE IS AMAZING IN EVERY SINGLE WAY. If it wasn’t the most annoying thing possible, I would write this entire review in capitals just to convey how much I loved Lynn. Her demeanor and vibe on the day of the wedding were perfect. She was so easy to work with and had great tips for us on how to pose or what to say to each other to make the other sweetly laugh. She just made it so comfortable. She was also efficient and got great shots without taking us away from our guests for too long. As for the final product, the photos are beyond belief beautiful. And I promise it’s not just us or that we might be photogenic, and Lynn didn’t have a hard subject. I am constantly making strange faces, or have my eyes closed, or am in bad lighting in most pictures I take. But Lynn managed to make my husband and me look amazing in every shot. It takes a certain person with certain skills to be a good wedding photographer (it’s one thing to capture beautiful images of nature, but beautiful images of nature and people and love, that’s on another level). Don’t even question it for a second -- Lynn is skilled beyond her years.
