    Mac and Soul made my wedding!! My husband is a musician so he insisted that we get a great band for our wedding and we definitely picked the right one! They were an absolute blast and Joe was a pleasure to work with from day one. They learned our special request songs and the dance floor was packed all night long. They played a wide varied of music so all generations were loving it it - all my guests could not stop raving about how great the music was! I would highly recommend them as your entertainment for any special occasion!

    Thank you, thank you, thank you for being flexible when we rescheduled our event from June 28 to November 8...you quickly responded "of course" to the change of date.

    We received favorable comments throughout the evening on the music...great performance!

    Hiring Mack and Soul was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. These guys are the real deal. Joe was so easy to work with and so friendly. Joe and the band arrived on time and dressed to the nine's. They even brought a great DJ with them to spin while they were taking a break! They also took the time to learn a few songs that weren't on their list. They did an incredible rendition of a Pearl Jam song for my mother in law, that people are still talking about.
    Our guests were up and out of their seats from the moment Mack and Soul started to play. At the end of the night, people were yelling for an encore! The energy they bring to your event is amazing.
    When shopping for a band, we decided to go to Mack and Soul's showcase on a recommendation. We went to two other showcases after theirs but it was very clear that if we wanted the real thing, we had to go with Mack and Soul! Don't waste your time! Hire these guys!

    My wife and I love to dance. We also knew the importance of good live music for our wedding. Finding any good band for an affordable price in the New York area is a daunting task, and dealing with agencies makes it feel very unfriendly, and less personal. Gabi and I were instantly attracted to Joe when we first met him at a performance in the Flatiron. The energy from him and his band made the environment incredibly enjoyable and fun. He is so friendly and a pleasure to work with. Moreover, we had an excellent 10 piece band for a very affordable price, especially when compared to bands being offered by the agencies. We wanted a fun night of dancing for the whole crowd and they delivered. Towards the end, people were even just on sides watching them perform. I heard whistles, cheers, and applauses as I danced the night away with Gabi. At the end, everyone was chanting "one more song", and they were happy to do an encore! Many wedding bands want to get home after an event so when times is up, its over...not Mack & Soul, they obliged to the encore and even did two songs! We had two musicians as guests at our wedding who both commented on how good they were. I don't want to sound cheesy, but i wouldn't be writing this much if i didn't believe it....They Rocked! and dealing with such a good person in Joe made it a real pleasure. I felt like the money was spent so well, I couldn't wait to tip the band at the end. Joe is incredibly flexible and will learn most any request you have. He is organized and will take care of the whole night for you...we just sat back and relaxed and enjoyed the eve. When throwing a party, i was always told if you have good music, the night will be full of energy and happiness. I was sad when it was over...lets put it that way. Congrats Joe and Mack & Soul...that was memorable. We are so happy we met! cheers Brian & Gabi

    When we asked an invited Yankee Baseball player if he would play a few songs with Mack & Soul, he agreed, especially after hearing them play! Mack & Soul were gracious enough to give him the spotlight for a few songs and he ended up enjoying their music so much that he played more songs with them. Thank you Mack & Soul! Our guests were thrilled with your band and that is why we invite you back year after year!

    I have worked with Mack and Soul for over 3 years on various events. They continually "wow" my guests. They read the crowd and keep the dance floor full all night long. Highly talented,versitile & professional group of muscians. On more than one occassion they have learned new songs for my events.Always my first call with I need a strong band.

    I may be bias because it was my wedding, but these guys really impressed me and our guests. There was not one person sitting down while Mack and Soul were on stage doing their thing! What is better than a live band? A 10 piece live band, with a horn section and singers that dance like The Temptations in matching white suits...that's what!
    Since Saturday 9/14 we have been getting texts and emails and phones calls about how amazing the party was and the band!

    I 100% recommend Mack and Soul for your wedding if you want to dance the night away to the best classic soul, rock and today's hits! I NEVER left the dance floor! I guarantee you will love this group!

    My new husband and I just had our wedding last night and I couldn't wait to write this review for Mack and Soul! We can not stop talking about how much fun we had as well as everyone else on the dance floor. Mack and Soul exceeded our expectations. They were energetic, played all the songs we wanted and sounded great! I highly recommend them for your wedding!

    Mack and Soul was amazing at our wedding. We have gotten so many comments from friends and family and everyone loved the band! Talented musicians, kept the party going all night, dance floor was so much fun thanks to Mack and Soul.

    Mack and Soul performed at our wedding and blew the roof off of it! I'm still getting phone calls and emails from friends and family RAVING about them. They made our wedding the party of the year.

    Joe and the band were so accommodating and catered to every one of our requests. The read the crowd and new exactly what to play to get everyone out on the dance floor. I couldn't be happier.

    This band was one of the best memories of our wedding! This band is amazing, so fun, and the life of the party. We got so many people asking us who the band was. They will play what you want which is great. I had family members dancing I had never seen dance before! Thank you so much for making our wedding such a special day!!!

    These guys are outstanding!!! Seriously, the best wedding bad I have ever seen--I feel very lucky to have come across them. I have never been to a wedding where so many people are dancing thoughout the wedding... people of all ages.

    Plus, they threw in an extra member... to add a bit more flavor to the sound. Memorable.

    Joe and his team were amazing in all ways!! I requested a four hour non stop playtime and he made it happen along with learning a new song for our first dance, music for cocktail hour and dinner! He and two others also sang gospel in the Church during the ceremony which was amazing! Mack and Soul was wildly accommodating and it felt as though they wanted our day to be just as special as we did! I would recommend to anyone looking for a great soul dance party!

    I can't say enough about Joe Mac and his band, they were absolutely wonderful! As a matter of fact, we ended up wasting money on the food end of it because everyone was on the dance floor dancing and nobody ate! The greatest quality of this band was their absolute professionalism and the fact that they were so easy to work with. Thanks again for making our Wedding Day such a great memory! Do you know that people still tell us that our wedding was the BEST wedding they have ever gone to! I owe it all to Joe Mac and his Band!
