  What makes Madalina a wonderful photographer is that she captures precious moments. When looking through my wedding pictures, I experience the emotions that I felt on my wedding day all over again--the pictures beautifully tell the story of that day. That is why I chose Madalina, because she knows how to capture natural beauty and emotions.
  I was considering saving money by hiring her for a shorter amount of time and not getting a wedding album from her. But after talking to my mom who regrets not taking advantage of her wedding photographer, I realized that this was a special day and I should take advantage of the services that Madalina offers. Best decision I could have ever made! I chose one of her wedding packages which included plenty of time to take pictures at the wedding, 100 digital copies, and a gorgeous wedding album--well worth the price! Most importantly, the photos were AMAZING! Blew me away! Madalina exceeded my expectations and captured so many great moments. She is also great to work with--very kind and she truly wants your day to be special. I highly recommend her to any of my friends, family, and any soon-to-be bride planning her wedding!

  My husband and I are both graphic designers and were very particular about picking a great photographer for our wedding. After attending a friend's wedding Madalina shot last year, we knew she was the one for us. Her photos are beautifully composed and have great natural light. The day of the wedding, and even leading up to the wedding, she was so great to work with. She arrived early on the wedding day, and was such a calming presence to help us get through the day. And now that we've seen the final product, I can she was well worth it!

  Our wedding planner linked us up with Madalina a little over a year before our June wedding. My fiancé and I, as well as my family, had indicated to our wedding planner that this was one of the most important elements of our wedding and that it was really important to us to have a great photographer.
  
  We then did our engagement photos with her –Madalina is really laid back and friendly. We also had our puppy with us at the time (he was only 6 months old and a bundle of energy) and she was great with him – totally patient. The pictures were perfect and we agreed that she’d be an excellent photographer for the wedding.
  
  Before the wedding day, we met with Madalina 2-3 times and a few weeks before the wedding she called to run through wedding-day details. She worked with our wedding planner to make sure everything flowed seamlessly (which it did). She is really detail oriented and wanted to make sure that everything went smoothly and that she got all the shots we wanted.
  
  On the wedding day, I was anxious and Madalina immediately noticed, tried to put me at ease. On the wedding day, she and her assistant were both great – their presence was perfect – most people didn’t notice they were there and they got great shots of the wedding and the reception. They were both also great with our 3 year old ring bearer.
  
  We selected our photos for our album (which was incredibly difficult to select only 60) and our album took a bit of time, but when it arrived it was perfect. The pictures are perfect, the album is perfect, the entire day was perfect and Madalina and her assistant captured it beautifully.
  
  If you’re thinking about working with Madalina, I would definitely recommend it. She was fantastic – she’s a genuinely nice person, takes wonderful photos, and really cares about her clients and making sure she does a great job for them. We could not have been happier with her and we are totally pleased that we chose her to take the photos for our special day.

  It was such a pleasure to have Madalina share her creativity, love for romance, and professionalism as our wedding photographer. Before the wedding day, Madalina was very detail oriented, and reviewed the major events of the day step-by-step. She even created an extensive timeline that proved most helpful during the day. This timeline was even utilized by other vendors, which kept everyone on the same page. As a bride, it alleviated all concern about time, because she was on-top of it.
  
  On the day of the wedding, Madalina arrived ahead of schedule, and had a surprise assistant. The pictures of the wedding details were absolutely gorgeous. There were some photos that looked like expensive advertisements that you would see in a magazine. Madalina proved to be a leader because not only did she keep the wedding party on time, she guided our videographer around the grounds to ensure not a moment was missed.
  
  During the ceremony, Madalina had an unobtrusive style. How she obtained the variety of angles is beyond me because I never once saw her or felt crowded by cameras. She literally captured every moment in beautiful, artist, well-lit fashion. She was able to accommodate all the different shots that were important to me, no mater how difficult it might have been.
  
  After the wedding, she met with us to review all of our photos just two weeks after the event. She provided us with a sample powerpoint slideshow with music, a digital website of all photos, and sample framing options. I felt she really put her heart and soul in her photography and it truly showed in the results. I would strongly recommend her services if you are interested in a photographer with a soft, creative photojournalist style, and a professional, detail oriented, work ethic. She exceeded my expectations, and I am so happy she captured my special day.

  I know that I speak for my wife when I say that we were extremely pleased with Madalina from the beginning. She came highly suggested by the staff of the Historic Rosemont and we hit it off from the get go. Madalina was extremely informative and she always put us at ease when she explained the whole process.
  
  We talked on the phone prior to our engagement photo session and she was very flexible with us as we encountered some schedule snafu's with getting my daughter here in town for the photo shoot. When we actually did the engagement shoot, it was a bit of a disaster because it was raining on...BUT Madalina made the best of a bad situation and the shots that she took were fantastic! She was very pleasant to work with and provided great direction to get the best shots possible. My fiancee (at the time) and I weren't sure how the pictures would come out...but needless to say, they were awesome! Her prices for this shoot were great for the service and attention we got...
  
  Fast forward several months to the wedding in Apr '14...the day was perfect and we scheduled Madalina for 8 hours of coverage. She was there early and brought another photographer to help get some additional shots. Madalina was extremely patient and professional as she had to deal with several different sides of our fractured families and she was always willing to take requests for the photos we wanted. She did a fantastic job on the big day!
  
  We waited about a month or so for the viewing of our wedding photos...but boy was it worth it! Madalina started our viewing by showing us a wonderful video of some of the best shots that she took during the wedding day...it was pretty much a timeline of the entire day and it was GREAT! All in all, I believe that she took over 800 photos of the big day...and we really got some fantastic shots...thanks to her!
  
  If you are a potential client, I would HIGHLY suggest Madalina! As I've stated, she is great to work with...her prices are very competitive!

  Hiring Madalina Lesan was the best decision we made! She captured the best moments before, during and after my wedding which lead to an absolutely STUNNING Engagement Album and Wedding Album. Additionally, her professionalism was off the carts. I would recommend Madalina Lesan to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced, talented, dedicated, patient and professional photographer. She has thanked my husband and I several times for having chose her to photograph our big day but really, we are ones who are truly thankful. Madalina is simply the best!

Madalina provides quality shots and products without totally breaking the bank. She even helped to steady me when I was becoming overwhelmed on the wedding day!   This review is overdue in its writing. Madalina photographed my wedding in September of '13. She did a FABULOUS job! She was so easy to work with and she blended right in with the family. She never felt intrusive or pushy which I appreciated greatly. Her photographs were absolutely stunning! My family and I cried with joy looking through them all. And the precision with which she put together the photo albums was out of this world. I have genuinely never seen nicer photo albums that I know will last a lifetime. And last but not least, she designed a beautiful slideshow for my husband and I with the photographs. We will also cherish that for years to come. I highly recommend working with Madalina. You will not be disappointed.

  Madalina was a true pleasure to work with. She was very professional and did an excellent job with both our engagement session as well as our wedding.She has a true talent which enables her to capture personality with each photo.
