Incredible photographer and person!
Having Maddy as our photographer was a huge highlight of our wedding. We are thrilled with our wedding photos. They really captured the spirit of the day, and we cannot stop smiling when we look through. We also loved the artistry behind her work and the way she highlighted our location in her photos and backdrops she chose for us. Beyond her art, she is a super professional, kind and thoughtful person. She was always super prompt with communication and even showed up earlier than her scheduled time on our wedding day. Her input into our wedding timeline and the little details of the day were invaluable (one example is that there was a slight chance of rain on our day and she came fully prepared with clear umbrellas, ponchos, something that totally slipped my mind on the day). Our close friends and family who got to work with her throughout the day have mentioned many times to us that they were so impressed with her professionalism and easy-going nature (and of course our stunning photos). We also loved the engagement session with her—my husband and I weren’t super comfortable in front of a camera but she really put us at ease the first time meeting her and that made our experience on our wedding day much more enjoyable and comfortable. My husband and I chose Maddy to be our wedding photographer in December 2022. Maddy also took our engagement photos in February 2022.
During our first meeting with Maddy, we immediately fell in love with her personality and photography style. We loved how elegant and classic Maddy’s portfolio is, and we appreciated that she uses both digital and film cameras. Maddy is organized and detail-oriented, yet patient and easygoing. We knew that we needed a photographer like Maddy on wedding day – not only someone who could keep us in-line, but also someone who was capable of making us feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Compared to other photographers we considered for our big day, Maddy took time to get to know us as a couple. On both occasions that we worked with Maddy, she seamlessly made our sessions feel natural and fun, and it was evident that she focused on perfectly depicting our personalities – both as individuals and as a couple – and telling the story of “us”.
Since we previously met Maddy prior to wedding day, we knew she would exceed our expectations when our big day finally arrived. We were even more pleased (though, not at all surprised) to hear that our family and friends feel the same way about Maddy as we do. It was obvious that Maddy carefully listened to our preferences and requests because she captured EVERY moment that we asked for. Our bridal party legitimately could not stop mentioning how great Maddy was. During stressful or unplanned moments, Maddy was always there to reassure us that there was plenty of time to capture our wedding day, which felt beyond comforting and was exactly what we needed to hear in those instants.
My husband and I, along with our family and friends, are absolutely thrilled to see how beautifully our photos turned out. I cannot express enough how impressed everyone is with Maddy’s talent. I received multiple comments about how our photos are some of the most beautiful wedding photos they’ve ever seen. To say that we are utterly obsessed with our engagement and wedding photos is an understatement.
In short, Maddy is an “experience” photographer. She has an ability to portray those “feel good” moments, the memories you can truly feel when you look at her work. Every image jumps off the page, and you are immediately taken back to the exact minute the photo was taken – the emotions, laughs, and (happy) tears are all still there.
Without hesitation, we will continue to recommend Maddy Mallory Photography to family and friends, and we will undoubtedly reach out to Maddy for our future photography needs.

We were lucky enough to have our engagement shot by Maddy and as soon as we got back the photos, we knew that we had to have her as our wedding photographer too. We (and our family and friends) have been floored by how she artistically and beautifully captures moments. My husband and I can’t stop going back through the photos and smiling remembering the special moment she captured, both planned and candid. Maddy is both professional and has a warm and calming demeanor, which worked for us as neither of us are very comfortable in front of the camera. However, she did a great job of being assertive to get family portraits in before the sun set. We cannot recommend Maddy enough!Maddy Mallory Photography's reply:

Great photos from a sweet and professional photographer
Hiring Maddy was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! She is so sweet, the epitome of professional, and can handle boisterous families like a champ. Our photos turned out better than we could’ve imagined, and she went above and beyond to make sure our engagement and wedding photos were exactly what we wanted. She was always on time or early, and she was more than prompt with communication, often reaching out to us before we could reach out to her; she even took the initiative to reach out to our florist to ask about extra loose blooms for our morning-of detail shots. She delivered a preview of about 30 images within three days of our wedding for us to enjoy and share, and had the rest of our several-hundred photos curated, edited, and sent to us within a very reasonable seven weeks. She captured every moment and emotion perfectly, and had the perfect balance of posed portraits and candid shots. We continually found ourselves asking her advice on many different aspects of our wedding due to both her vision and her professionalism and expertise. Maddy was very fairly priced and worth every penny; you won’t regret hiring her for your special day! -

Maddy always comes excited to be a part of that moment in your life you want captured. She is full of passion and puts that into all of her work. Besides being a great person to work with and providing a comfortable atmosphere during the photoshoot, her photos are high-quality with that real life, vibrant color feel.
Maddy was organized and worked very well with our wedding planner to make sure she was in tune with the ever changing timeline that was our wedding. -
