    Jen from Magdalene photography is such a kind, professional, and talented woman. I recently was able to do a bridal shoot with her in the beautiful Door County and it was amazing. Jen took the time to get some amazing shots. She truly is an artist and pays so much attention to detail. She made me feel like the most beautiful bride in the world by truly capturing "me" in my photos. She is an outstanding woman and artist and I would recommend her to everyone who is contemplating where to go for wedding photos!!

    This is my review as part of the xoBeautiful project - The whole day was an experience starting off with the beautiful mansion that we had the shoot in. The lovely décor, flowers and candles, the morning mimosas and lovely treats throughout the day. The undivided attention from Jenn, Molly and the whole team she had put together who put everyone to ease and turned us all into stunners. Jenn has an amazing way about her, she is very relaxed and calm and infuses you with the same comfort. You immediately feel at ease with her and while she is taking the photos she gently guides you and makes you the center of all her attention. I am so glad that I had this great opportunity to be photographed by Jenn.

    I recently had the opportunity to work with Jen on a bridal shoot and it was fantastic. I was a little nervous when I arrived for my hair and make up, but Jen and her crew made me feel so welcome. Once I was one-on-one with Jen behind the camera working her magic, I didn't have any feelings of anxiousness or awkwardness. Jen made me laugh and feel so beautiful. She has such an ease about her profession. Her vision and ability to see a moment is very special. I had an experience that I will never forget and will trust Magdalene Photography to capture any of my future life moment events,

    Jen was more than accommodating to our 24 person wedding party! I have worked with Jen in the past and have never wanted to be photographed by anyone else! Our photos are very unique and portray our personality. She was full of ideas, and she was very organized the day of. I can't wait to work with her again!

    Jen is an amazing photographer. She truly listens to what you would like on your day, so you get the photos you want. She is an absolute JOY to work with. I also recently did a photo shoot with her and had the greatest time! She is professional, yet fun. I follow her work and love everything she does. I feel blessed to have met her and worked with her!

    Jen is amazing! I recently worked with her to do a styled bridal dress shoot. She made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. You can tell how talented she really is! Not to mention, her photos are absolutely stunning. She is extremely kind and knowledgeable about photography. I would recommend her to anyone!

    Magdalene photography has captured my engagment pictures, my wedding day and also gave me an opportunity of a lifetime.

    I was given the opportunity to model my wedding dress. I was not only excited to wear my wedding dress again but, to have my hair and make up done and be a model for a day was a dream come true.

    Jen has gone above and beyond any of my expectations. I told her exactly what I wanted and she did that and more! She is an amazing, loving, brave and caring photographer. Not only do I feel like Jen is my personal photographer but also a great friend.

    Thank you Jen for making me feel beautiful and, for making my dreams come true!

    Jen made me feel not only beautiful, but comfortable being photographed. She was so professional and considerate of what I wanted and what would look the best. Her whole team is inviting, and makes you feel like you are the only one that matters. I will be using her for all my photograph needs.

    Being chosen to be part of Magdalene Photography's xoBeautiful shoot by Jen was an amazing opportunity! Another chance to be able to put your wedding dress on again without the stress of a wedding day is a fabulous idea!

    This was the first time I ever had my makeup done for me. She had a great makeup artist and hairstylist that made every girl that came that day look amazing!

    I loved that they had it all planned out already on how they wanted us to look. For me it was something very far from what I would normally do and it turned out amazing!

    Jen is so down to earth, pays attention to detail and really gets into her photography. Many photographers rush you, get frustrated with a rough crowd and you can tell by the outcome of their Photographs! Jen's Photography is beautiful!

    I have no regrets choosing Jen as my wedding Photographer and was very grateful to have the opportunity to work with her again!

    I truly felt beautiful at the shoot!

    I would recommend Magdalene Photography to anybody!!!

    We love a majority of our photos but unfortunately it was as absolute nightmare trying to communicate with her. Due to cost we initially wanted one of her associate photographers, but she “gifted” us her services for the price of one of her associates. Big mistake on our part. We set up multiple times to talk on the phone and not once did she call us on time. It was always 30-45 min after we had agreed to talk (unprofessional in my opinion). She says she doesn’t charge for travel but she in fact does. We arranged to have our engagement pictures in Door County and set a back up date in case of rain. Rain was in the forecast but she insisted we still drive up there (we live in Green Bay) because she actually double booked on our back up date. I suggested we reschedule for a different day and I was told she would need to charge me 75 cents per mile unless we did our pictures in Coleman (where she lives). It also took 6 MONTHS for us to get our wedding photos back with not one sneak peak (that’s an extra $250). Horrible experience but I do like our pictures.

    Well first off, she obviously takes good photos. Kudos. Now, onto my very negative review. She had posted a contest for an "all day wedding package" in December of 2016. By my surprise, my now husband and I were the winners in January of 2017. We were excited, beyond excited actually. We felt extremely blessed at the fact that this amazing photographer is dedicating her time to photograph our wedding and give us long lasting memories and we did not have to factor it into our budget.
    We stayed in contact, throughout the year and as the time got close(March 2018) she sent me a blank wedding timeline. I promptly filled it out and sent it back. Our wedding was May 19th of this year. I called her May 15th to verify everything and she threw a curveball at as. She told us, for the first time, that she has to leave at 5:30 pm because her daughter had a dance recital. I was so upset and extremely hurt. Why were we told this FOUR DAYS before our wedding? We had to set oddball times for our ceremony and reception to work around our "6 hour free package." Ceremony at 3pm and reception at 6pm. So please, tell me how this is an "all day wedding package." We had to scramble for four days to find a photographer and had to take money out of our savings account to pay for him. I will not recommend her, no matter how good her pictures look.
