  Ceremony Music of Our Dreams!

  Katie and Raiden were beyond anything I could have hoped for. From the beginning, they were incredibly responsive (even when I had bride-brain and forgot to email back). They were also so flexible with our music choices. Some of our songs were popular (Wildest Dreams) but we also had a few obscure requests and they had no problem playing them for us! I cannot recommend this vendor enough. On top of that, they coordinated with my planner for the timeline, and they were professional and on time. Thank you both for everything!

  We had a great experience working with Magnolia Strings for our wedding ceremony! They were very responsive and professional in our communications and planning leading up to the wedding. We had a few unique music requests which they easily accommodated. Their playing was beautiful and complemented the ceremony perfectly. They were both very friendly and pleasant to work with.   So glad we chose to add Magnolia Strings to our daughter's wedding.

  Katie & Raiden made our daughter's wedding ceremony a 10+. Their sound was perfect as they played each chosen song so elegantly. I highly recommend Magnolia Strings and will definitely consider adding them to any type of function we have in the future. Many of our wedding guests commented how their violin and cello performance was so beautiful.

  We hired Magnolia Strings to play for our wedding ceremony and they played my requests, which included the interlude to Howl’s Moving Castle (Studio Ghibli), Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls and All I Ask of You from Phantom of the Opera. Their versatility is astounding! Highly recommend to anyone who wants to give a romantic feel to their music in their wedding ceremony!

  We couldn’t have asked for a better musical backdrop for my son’s wedding!

  Magnolia Strings was amazing! Very professional, responded in a timely manner help us every step of the way from planning the music, to figuring out where to place them during the ceremony.   Truly Outstanding Music, DJ, and MC

  Raiden and Magnolia Strings were, in a word, outstanding. We were surprised to be able to afford live string music at our wedding, and Raiden was incredibly organized, communicative, and easy to work with. For the live music component of the ceremony/reception, Raiden was able to organize the quartet and play several arrangements of contemporary and classical music. Our first dance to a string arrangement of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" had my wife in tears of joy. As the reception progressed, we had planned for Raiden to handle a DJ setup with a list of songs created between us for our guests to dance to - Raiden took the lead here and was extremely helpful. We worked together to come up with a timeline for when events would happen so Raiden could handle duties as Master of Ceremonies, which he did flawlessly.
  
  Overall I can't recommend Magnolia Strings highly enough. Their skill as musicians alone is a bargain for the price, and when you add in the DJ/MC package along with the care and thorough attention to detail provided, this was truly one of our biggest value vendors.

  I am SO happy I found Magnolia Strings! I was inspired to have a string quartet at my wedding, and Katie and Raiden did not disappoint. I had a vision of pop songs playing during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Magnolia Stings arranged all of the music and they were very responsive to my questions and listened to my requests. Thank you for making my dream of walking down the aisle to "Wildest Dreams" by Taylor Swift a reality! The music was so special and added a beautiful touch to the ceremony.

  Magnolia Strings played for our recent wedding in December 2021. They played beautifully, even including two special request pieces on very short notice. We were very happy with their professionalism and the quality of their playing. Communication was clear and responses were prompt.   Our process was quick and easy. The pair are very affordable and we had a nice time collaborating. They did a great job converting my song into an instrumental version. They did a lovely job! I would definitely recommend Magnolia Strings!

  At frist didn't decide on live ceremony music i was initially just gonna go with the dj. I'm so happy I went with live music route they made our ceremony so romantic it was so beautiful. I highly recommend going with magnolia strings not only they sound amazing but also so nice and always there to answer any questions.

They wrote and learned compositions for some special request pop songs (for which orchestral music didn't exist, as far as I'm aware). I was the crazy bride that wanted to walk down the aisle to a cello/viola version of a Yeah Yeah Yeahs song, and they made it happen, and it was truly one of the best moments of my life!! During the planning process, they were patient and flexible. They even agreed to play the ceremony in a dry wash outdoors with no electricity, which I had some other strings players turn me down, saying it wasn't possible/ideal. If you're thinking about hiring them, DO IT! I splurged on this one item for my wedding day, and I do not regret it one bit. Everything was truly perfect. Thank you Magnolia Strings!!

  Excellence in worship setting

  Raiden and Katie have accompanied my choir and congregation and provided solo and duet performances in worship and have always provided the very highest musical excellence to us. What a classy addition they would make for the music in a wedding and for the reception!
