  We hired Hayden Mailloux and Erik Strout for our wedding and genuinely could not have been more thrilled with how everything went. Both Hayden and Erik demonstrated an admirable balance of professionalism, competence, kindness, and patience with us from the moment we connected with them. We would highly recommend Hayden to anyone who is seeking a knowledgable DJ who truly knows how to have a good time! And we would absolutely endorse Erik as a talented classical guitarist who can set the stage for a beautiful ceremony!
  
  Hayden sought our advice and input every step of the way. We loved chatting with him a month before our wedding to iron out all sorts of details and be sure we were all on the same page. He put us at ease during a highly stressful time in our wedding planning process with his calm and confident demeanor. Hayden walked us through all of the potential genres that we could play at our cocktail hour and reception - his love of music and mixing is unmatched! All of the information and preferences we gave him was put into play at our wedding and people are honestly still raving about how much fun they had.
  
  Hayden's skills really came into play during our ceremony - it was unexpectedly windy and the microphone / speaker situation was tricky. He was super flexible and tried out multiple options to be sure people could be heard as much as possible. We appreciated his calm energy and how he never made the wind into a big problem! This flexibility also came into play when we had a surprise toast during our reception - Hayden went with the flow and everything turned out perfectly.
  
  We also connected with Erik a month prior to our wedding to iron out song choices. He built out a setlist from a few songs that we chose - based on guest's reactions, he absolutely nailed it! Erik was so kind and flexible with our thoughts for the ceremony - an absolute pleasure to chat with and such an incredibly talented musician.
  
  Which brings us to the dancing! Hayden put together THE BEST songs for us - everyone had so much fun, regardless of age and music preferences. The transitions between songs kept everyone excited and on their toes to find out what was next. We couldn't have asked for a better teammate and DJ to help make all of our wedding dreams into reality. We are so grateful for both Hayden and Erik.

  We love DJ Tyler!

  DJ Tyler was phenomenal! He was super easy to work with during the planning process and always very friendly too. Any time we had questions or any special requests that we wanted (for example, start/end points for certain songs), he was able to accommodate them with no problems. During the reception, he played amazing music, kept the dancefloor packed the whole night and accommodated all of our requests. Several guests mentioned to us how good the music was and how perfectly balanced the variety was for all age groups. He was also a fantastic MC – the announcements such as the intros and the cake cutting went so smoothly. Overall, we couldn’t have been any happier with our DJ choice and would 10/10 recommend DJ Tyler!!

  DJ Mike is the best!

  We hired DJ Mike Benoit for our wedding and it couldn't have gone any better. We had a lot of communication through the entire process, and our in-person meeting was extremely productive. He got all of our likes, dislikes, must-haves and do-not-play songs and the execution during the wedding was fantastic. Our guests raved about him and the song choices, which matched the vibe our wedding was going for. I would hire him again in a heartbeat and would absolutely recommend him for anyone's wedding.

  We hired DJ Mike Benoit for our wedding and it couldn't have gone any better. We had a lot of communication through the entire process, and our in-person meeting was extremely productive.   DJ Jay Malette

  Main Event made the whole process of finding the right DJ for our wedding easy, and we couldn't have been happier with DJ Jay. He brought just the right enthusiasm to bring our party to life. We didn't provide him with much musical guidance at all, and were so happy with what he put together for our playlist. He had a really good setlist that included both the wedding classics and some more hidden gems that really brought our dance floor alive. He was very accommodating and able to bring all his equipment to the top of a mountain for our wedding ceremony, where he did a wonderful job with our audio. He had a host of tools and sample setlists to share with us, to make our selection of songs easy. We were very happy with DJ Jay and would recommend him to anyone else!

  DJ Tom Darling is awesome!!

  We were married on Saturday June 22, 2024 in Scarborough Maine. Tom Darling was our DJ for the event and he was AWESOME!! He was very attentive and responsive during the planning process, allowing Chris and I to put together a list of must-have songs. From there Tom was able to curate an unbelievable playlist for our wedding! We had people dancing on the dance floor for all three hours of dancing! Would highly recommend Tom for your event!

Over the next few meetings, we were able to hone in on what music and atmosphere they were looking for, which allowed me to build a playlist specifically around them!   We were so lucky to have DJ Mike Benoit for our wedding at Zorvino Vineyards on 6/8/24! After our first meeting with Mike, my husband and I knew he would exactly fit our vibe. He ran us through a fun music quiz where my husband and I individually rated music genres. Despite giving almost opposite answers to each genre of music (lol), Mike perfectly blended our taste for our wedding day. The remixes and transitions on the dancefloor were awesome. Soo many people came up to us throughout the wedding and weeks after to say the music was SO GOOD, and even complimented the centerpiece giveaway Mike did to get the energy up before the dancefloor opened! So many people didn’t leave the dance floor the entire wedding. 10/10 recommend DJ Mike Benoit!

  Tim Bruneau is A++++!

  Tim did a fantastic job for us and went the "extra mile" again and again. When we needed four microphones for a portion of the night, he went out and got them and mixed them through the night. When we needed a videographer, he and his team jumped in and did it for us. When we need certain songs played at the right time of the night, he did it flawlessly. And for two hours, he got all our guests from age 3 to 83 out there dancing. We had an exceptional time at our 30 year anniversary party. We couldn't have done that without Tim. He's fantastic.

  Halloween Party

  DJ Hayden did such an awesome job at our Halloween Party! We had a TV Show Theme and he even dressed up! He was easy to work with, welcomed requests & played a variety of music for a diverse group!

She listened to all of our requests and made an effort to understand what we were envisioning for our wedding day. Come wedding day, Jacqui performed a beautiful and flawless ceremony. She made sure to check in with us both before and after the ceremony and the entire process was as easy and comfortable as could be. We also could not be happier with DJ Lloyd! We had a thorough phone call with Lloyd prior to the wedding to go through our music preferences and wedding details. Lloyd was extremely nice, professional, and super funny! The music selection and MC services at our wedding were exactly what we wanted – FUN! Lloyd was interactive, energetic, and could totally “read the room” for our guests. We could not recommend Jacqui and Lloyd enough! They both played a memorable role in our perfect day.

  Jacqui provided the most beautiful ceremony for us. We’re so grateful to Main Event for pairing us with her, and that she took the time to get to know us and make our story such a focal point of our ceremony.
  It was exactly what we wanted in a ceremony. It was warm, light hearted, and entirely our own. Jacqui heard what we wanted, and with very little guidance from us, put together a ceremony that we never could have dreamed of.

  Great experience with DJ Mike Benoit and JP Jacqui Dion!

  We got married at Granite Rose by Wedgewood Weddings who works with Main Event Entertainment for DJ and JP services. Through the company, I worked with DJ Mike Benoit and JP Jacqui Dion, both of whom I would highly recommend for their professionalism and attentiveness.
  DJ Mike was friendly and quick to capture our musical taste to match it with the crowd vibes throughout the night. He was great at keeping the energy level up while making sure things run smoothly to our timeline.
  JP Jacqui Dion was sweet and communicative. She helped us proof-read our vows and her readings took many tears from our guests.

  DJ Mike Benoit Keeps the Party Going!!!

  DJ Mike Benoit delivered exactly what we wanted for our wedding- a killer dance party! My husband and I tied the knot on 5/4/24. When we first met with DJ Mike a year ago, we told him that our vision for our wedding was simply a big party. We've been to plenty of weddings before where the formalities dominate the day and by the end, you really only get an hour or two to let loose. We wanted our friends and family to be able to really let go and enjoy the whole night. DJ Mike packed the dance floor with the best mixes I've ever heard! He somehow was able to get songs from all the genres we like- 90s hip-hop, all the way down to Emo and even country! The dance floor was packed all night and MULTIPLE friends kept telling me how he was the best DJ they've heard in comparison to recently attended weddings and even clubs! He was also especially attentive when I asked if he could avoid playing my favorite song while I had to take a bathroom break! We have no doubt our wedding was so much fun because of Mike. Stop your DJ search right here and just book him- you will not be disappointed! DJ Mike- we can't thank you enough for giving us everything we wanted and taking the stress out of the wedding planning. You're the best!!!

  Sherry Farrell, our officiant, was simply amazing. Her warmth and attention to detail made us feel like longtime friends. As the town clerk of Londonderry, she also guided us smoothly through the marriage license process.
  DJ Hayden Mailloux was incredible! From start to finish, he was attentive and professional. He listened to our requests and also brought his expertise to curate the perfect playlist. Hayden's ability to read the crowd and seamlessly transition between songs ensured that the dance floor was packed all night long.
  Both Sherry and Hayden genuinely cared about our experience, as well as our guests. We got so many compliments!

  DJ Matt is the BEST!!

  Not only was communication so easy and thorough, he has a great personality and is so talented. I’m a wedding photographer, so I see a lot of weddings and had no doubt in my mind that I wanted Main Event to be part of my day. Matt had the dance floor packed, was so kind to my family/guests, and has a great set up that suits every space. 10/10 would recommend - Main Event has it down!

  Excellent DJ

  DJ Hayden Mailloux was absolutely perfect for our Homecoming dance! He played a great variety of music and engaged with the crowd to hype them up. Everyone was incredibly happy and the students were all raving about what a great time they had because of the DJ!

  We had Mike DJ our wedding, and he was amazing! He did a great job of getting our guests engaged on the dance floor and was attentive to our needs during the ceremony and reception! He even stepped in as a last minute replacement for our JP and did a great job. We both highly recommend Mike or any DJ at Main Event Entertainment!

  Hayden was our DJ for our wedding on 1.21.24. He was spectacular throughout the entire day and every meeting leading up to the wedding. We definitely didn’t make it easy for him during our meetings but he worked through it with us and was extremely courteous & professional each time.   DJ Mike Benoit was absolutely FANTASTIC! Super professional, trustworthy, and FUN! The process was extremely easy and he truly takes the time to cater each set list to reflect the couple and their wishes. Our dance floor was full the entire night! The sign of an excellent DJ! Cannot recommend Mike enough!!!

  Amazing Experience!

  Main Event and DJ Adam is an amazing company to work with! We knew of Main Event by another DJ that works there but was unavailable for our day.
  
  After reviewing all that Main Event has to offer (which is a lot!) we had the pleasure of working with DJ Adam for our wedding back in November and it was a great experience from start to finish. One of my biggest goals was that my guests had fun all night long and that they did! The dancefloor was full all night and everyone loved the playlist. We are still getting compliments on it! You cannot go wrong with Main Event or DJ Adam!

  DJ Dan Pelletier was a fantastic wedding DJ! He made the dancing at our wedding night extremely fun and memorable for everyone. My wife and I had a fantastic time on the dancefloor thanks to DJ Dan's musical choices and our guests are still reminiscing on what a fun time the dancing was. He let us have some "must-have requests" and played some guests requests. Dan also did a great job keeping our timeline on track, directing guests, and general wedding logistics. DJ Dan is thoughtful, professional, and an all-around terrific DJ. Highly recommend!
  
  Main Event Entertainment has many options for DJs and pricing. Even though we picked a "lower pricing tier," we were very satisfied with everything relating to both the company and our DJ.
