    Amazing job!

    Molly was extremely attentive and went above and beyond helping with the wedding. She was prepared and handled unexpected situations well. On top of that, she was an amazing and down to earth person that makes you feel like she's another friend at the wedding. I would definitely recommend her to any of my friends who get married in Chicago.

    Wedding Shower and Wedding!

    I attended a shower and wedding that Molly organized and everything was great! Very classy, bride was a friend of mine and she was very pleased with the service she was provided. Everything looked amazing!

    Seriously book her! Greatest!

    I don't believe there is anyone better. She did such a fabulous job from picking the venue down to the decor. She made sure to have exactly what her customers were asking for.

    Do not hire Molly Tiske

    We paid Molly Tiske $800 via Venmo on 3/21/22 for our 10/21/22 wedding. This was an up front, in-full payment for her to coordinate our wedding day. Responsibilities in her contract included: Creating a timeline and follow through of timeline, day of event set up, clean up at the end of the night, and helping with anything else the day of that is needed. Well, none of this actually ever happened as Molly "tested positive for Covid" 2 days before our wedding. We understand things happen and people get sick, but considering the lack of communication and follow through we had from Molly in regards to coordinating our day in the 7 month duration of us having hired her (she never created a timeline, communicated with vendors, or really anything else she promised she would), as well as all of the reviews she has online saying she no-showed to weddings all the time, we called BS on that one. We had a bad feeling from the get-go since reading all her reviews online, but decided to keep her employed because we had personally seen her work at a friend's wedding. Regardless, Molly promised us a full refund and that she was going to have it figured out by the end of our wedding weekend. We have still not been refunded and Molly has given us either no response, or excuses as to why she hasn't transferred the money yet. Her job is to make people's day less stressful and beautiful and all she did was cause us stress, anxiety and frustration through the whole process. She was the worst part of our wedding experience and I hope she closes down her "business" once and for all after screwing over so many people with little to no accountability. Do not hire Molly Tiske.

    Very bad experience

    I had a very bad experience with this vendor.

    For a variety of reasons and red flags, I decided to terminate my coordinator contract with Molly. Based on the way she communicated (excessive emails, without bcc’ing her clients, that had nothing to do with me), her defensive email about the bad reviews she was receiving and the bad reviews that she actually received, I did not believe she would be able to complete her duties. It was weeks till I received a refund and had very little communication with Molly. When she did communicate, I received one outlandish excuse after the other telling me why she could not pay me that week.

    Only when I emailed her entire client list telling them Molly was scamming me, did she provide $500 of the $1000 I paid her. The non-refundable was $500 which in hindsight is egregious considering she completed no work and the process of receiving my refund was incredibly frustrating.

    Molly was incredibly unprofessional and did not provide a seamless experience when I decided this business relationship would not work out. I was enticed by her cheap prices, but regret giving her any of my money, time and attention.

    Made wedding planning unnecessarily stressful; very bad experience, would not hire her again.

    We paid $1000 to hire Molly for her wedding planning services but decided to cancel our contract after seeing multiple red flags regarding Molly's business practice and communication. She emailed her client list without BCC'ing for our privacy and she has a D- on Better Business Bureau. https://www.bbb.org/us/il/wood-dale/profile/event-planner/make-it-memorable-with-molly-llc-0654-1000034597 I heard from past clients via email who had bad experiences with Molly, especially in terms of her refunding money. I am STILL chasing down a $300 refund from Molly, after she has promised time and time again to give me my money back, she has not followed through for two months. She has provided me zero services. The timeline is as follows: I requested a refund on November 29th. Nov 29 - Molly said she processes payments through a lawyer who controls contacts and payments; Dec 2 said her husband was in hospital in critical condition, she is starting the cancellation process and was not able to be at her desk to finalize paperwork and will communicate soon. Dec 7 her team emailed they would process our request for refund in 7-10 days. No response from Molly or team to texts or emails until Dec 15, when Molly said her business was hacked and has no access to bank information or client information. Dec 17 said she would send money via Zelle once she had her banking info in a week. I gave her a week, and Dec 21 asked if she was able to access her bank account. I received no response to emails, calls or texts until Jan 1 when she promised a refund by the end of the week. She sent the refund through Paypal on January 8, but on January 13 her bank canceled the transaction. Since then, she has not responded to any texts, emails, or calls to send $300 up til now, January 27th. I originally hired Molly to make my wedding planning easier and she has actually been the most stressful, frustrating part of wedding planning. Based on my experience, I highly advise that you do not hire Molly.

    No-Show, Horrific, Nothing But STRESS

    I wish that we could give 0 stars.
    We hired Molly after a great initial Zoom, paid, and then encountered nothing but disappointment, lies, and she was literally the biggest cause of stress during our entire wedding process. Molly also cancelled 2 days prior to our wedding.
    She consistently missed deadlines, never even created a day of schedule, when she did contact a vendor it was completely unprofessional and so bad our vendor contacted us because of her unprofessionalism...she claimed to have talked to people that she didn't, passed blame and was just so rude and disappointing.

    Disaster planning

    The week of our wedding, Molly completely stopped communicating with us. She would later completely bail on our wedding, promise a refund on Monday morning, and ignore us for days until we had to seek council to receive our refund (context below). In the months leading up we noticed very erratic and bizarre behavior but since she was a referral and we were so close to the wedding, we put our faith in her that perhaps she could manage doing the job. During the entire time working with her, Molly would often go MIA and blame her email for “not sending emails all day." I’ve never heard of anyone having such uncommon and mysterious problems with modern day email. We received weird emails from her that she’d send to all her clients on one email, pages long ranting about a bad review she had gotten. It was so unprofessional and we should have seen the red flags. Around this time, we started learning Molly had been being dishonest, canceling meetings with vendors along with canceling meetings with us on numerous occasions, often for an unusual number of catastrophic events. We then became concerned about Molly’s competence but it was a week away and we’d put our wedding off 3x due to COVID. I assured myself she was surely capable of setting up the minimal amount of DIY. Fast forward, not until Wednesday evening do we hear from her, when we receive an email informing me that due to another pending emergency, she would be handing our wedding off to someone we’d never even spoken to, 2 days before the wedding. Molly didn’t bother to pick up the phone and call us, her own clients, the week of our 3x postponed wedding to inform us of this change, coordinate a proper hand off and provide professional reassurance on a call. Molly gave us this new persons phone number after we had to request it and Molly assured us that we’d hear from them asap after she caught her up. We sent a total of three texts, asking when we could coordinate a call. None were answered an an entire day went by afterwards with no contact from them. We text the group chat a full day later asking when we can expect a call, as our rehearsal was 12 hours away. I replied with one and only text and said “this is insane,” the only thing I said. Moments later she accused us of harassment and canceled our wedding. We were ready to roll with the punches, but she was in breach of contract.

    This is what Molly chose to add at the end of her email canceling her services. It read, “Oh” and “by the way, the date on our contract is wrong anyway.” She wanted us to know she was about to steal our money because the contract we signed had the incorrect date on it many months ago, which she informed me of at the time of signing, and we confirmed the correct date in writing on multiple occasions. She screwed us and then basically said, I just cheated you. We were lucky, really she wasn't there after all and the wedding went seamlessly no thanks to her.

    Find someone else!

    She told us she wasn't going to be able to do our wedding 5 days before our event, due to a family issue. She then told us one of her other planners would handle the event, and they would reach out when Molly had someone up to speed. Fast forward to Thursday night and we hadn't heard a thing. I sent Molly 3 text messages to hope for some communication and any type of relief knowing our event was being taken care of, only to have her respond with an email claiming we harassed her and her employees, and that nobody would want to work the event. Mind you we were respectful in these texts, and the "worst" thing we said was "this is insane" , in reference to us not hearing from them, and we're 2 days out from the event. Molly then told us nobody was going to be able to work the event at all and she would refund us come Monday morning. Fortunately our wedding was not complicated, and we had 1 person handle all of it. In my opinion, Molly was extremely unprofessional, and her inexperience with clients shows. I would never book another event with Molly. We even had to chase down our refund! We were told Monday we'd have a refund. Come Monday morning, crickets. No response. I texted her politely asking when we could expect the refund, and I got an email late Tuesday night saying her lawyer was looking into whether or not we were even owed the full refund. Total BS! We eventually had to talk to our lawyer to figure out how to get our well deserved refund back.
