    Sarah is absolutely incredible to work with! She has now coordinated not only my wedding this summer, but my two older sisters' in the past few years as well and we couldn't be more impressed! Sarah is incredibly knowledgable about everything wedding and her southern taste is impeccable! She helped our family so so much through these three weddings, helping everything go smoothly so we didn't have to worry about a thing. She is easy to work with and will go above and beyond to help give you your dream wedding day! Sarah is not only an amazing event planner, but now more like family! I would recommend her to anyone!

    Sarah from Make it Posh Events was the wedding planner for our October 2015 wedding. My husband and I were reluctant to use a wedding planner, as we were on a tight budget for our tastes and style, but I am SO glad that we went with Make it Posh! We contracted with Sarah for her "partial planning" package. I was able to make most of the big decisions and did most of the planning, but she was an excellent "sound board" when I needed to make a decision, she attended vendor meetings with me, talked down prices with vendors on my behalf, gave me advice, became the primary contact for my vendors prior to the wedding day, and helped me prepare timelines. She also knew all of the right vendors to contact due to her extensive knowledge of the industry. This was way more than I could have ever received from a similar package from any other wedding planner in Richmond (and trust me, we looked long and hard for one!). Unlike many other planning companies, Sarah never gave us restrictions on how often we could contact her, and she was always available through email or phone very quickly throughout the entire 10 months prior to our wedding. Throughout the wedding weekend, I did not have to worry about anything falling into place--she handled it all for us and with our preferences in mind. She also helped deal with some of our more unruly guests and stepped in to solve any problems before I ever noticed. Our wedding would not have been such a perfect day had we not hired Sarah. Make it Posh Events is the best deal for wedding planning in the Richmond area, for sure!

    Sarah was a dream come true! I lost my mother 4 months before my wedding, and Sarah went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure my day went PERFECT. She assisted me in pulling all my ideas/details together to get an overall southern elegant look. My wedding design turned out even more beautiful than I could ever imagine.

    Also, one vendor I selected did not fulfill all of their contractual responsibilities, and Sarah picked up the ball and made sure I did not know about the issue until after my wedding. She continued to assist me after my wedding to receive a refund back from my vendor that broke their contractual agreement.

    Sarah is the person that can pull of our your dreams together and make sure your wedding fits you and your groom!

    Sarah was a complete and total lifesaver. We hired a planner because I was working on my bachelors and masters degree and first year teaching in the peak of our wedding planning. Sarah recommended vendors to us and we loved every person we worked with, they were the best of the best and worked with our budget. When it came time to order linens, Sarah was there to make sure we get the best pricing. She really stepped up for us when it counted and having her on our team was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made early in!

    Sarah made sure planning and my wedding was all I expected to be. Words can't explain how awesome she was. She listened and knew what i would and wouldn't like in the event she needed to make executive decisions. Hands down they are awesome!

    We hired Sarah with Make It Posh Events for "day of" wedding planning services for my daughter's wedding but it included so much more. Sarah was a great resource for info, advice, and the use of some of her wedding accessories. She coordinated a timeline with all of the vendors and made sure everything went smoothly, as well as directed our wedding rehearsal the night before. On the day of the wedding she attended to every detail, making sure the room and decor were perfect and that we all were where we needed to be throughout the day. During the reception, Sarah took care of putting the gifts into the trunk of the car along with the couple's personal items (toasting flutes & cake cutting set). Sarah was great to work with and having her allowed us to relax while getting ready for the wedding and enjoying ourselves without having to worry about a thing!

    Sarah was amazing throughout the entire planning process! She was always very responsive to my questions (and I had a lot!). She really got my vision and theme for the day and brought it to life. I could not be more pleased with how the day turned out! I would highly recommend Sarah to anyone looking for a planner! She is awesome!

    Sarah at Make It Posh Events was AMAZING!!! She is the most thoughtful, kind hearted, caring individual around!! Sarah made sure that everything for my wedding was perfect and was so professional! My day went just as I envisioned, only better, and I have her to thank for that! All my guests raved about how beautiful everything was and that was thanks to Sarah's creative eye!!! So thrilled with her and Make it Posh!

    Sarah is AMAZING!!! I have been so pleased throughout the process with her planning skills for my wedding! I definitely recommend the full service package as she has had so many ideas that I would have never even thought about on my own. She is incredibly sweet and professional, and after working with her I want to be her best friend. She is a great value and really goes above and beyond. I dont know how anyone plans a wedding without a full service coordinator, and more specifically I dont know who would WANT to do it with anyone but Sarah!!!

    Ms. Sarah is the best wedding planner in the universe. I was such a nervous rack. I gave a her a call night and day and she was always so understanding and patient. I even drove myself crazy with the amount of questions I would continue to ask :) Sarah always help put my mind at ease. Ms. Sarah provided me with the best wedding I could have ever imagine. My friends and family are still talking about my wedding and how beautiful it was. I felt like a queen for a day. Thank you Ms. Sarah for making by special day so wonderful!

    I worked with Sarah for my July 2013 wedding and she was fantastic! She had great ideas that saved me a lot of money and was very organized and reliable. I would highly recommend!

    Sarah provided excellent service to me. I don't know what I would have done without her. I used Sarah w/ Make it Posh Events for my June 2013 wedding. She was there for me every step of the way, a pleasure to be around and helped me pull it all off. She reigned me in when I needed it and made sure I stuck to my budget which my Husband was really thankful for. She had linens and centerpieces we could use and all her hardwork is so appreciated!

    When I originally booked Sarah I was 11 months out of getting married. I had purchased her partial package and was assured that everything would go perfect for my wedding day. We met a total of maybe 8 times in person. Fast forward 3 weeks before the actual wedding. She had not looked at our contract for TEN MONTHS. When she looked at the contract three weeks before the wedding, keep in mind we met the week before she told me this, she had realized that she had DOUBLE BOOKED weddings. I had spent almost 10 months going over what I had wanted my special day to be with her and come to find out it all meant nothing. So she proceeded to tell me someone else would be there for my wedding and it all would run smoothly and no one out of my family would be forced to help make my day perfect as to that is why we hired her for. Well wedding day comes around, this is the good part, her stand in gets to the venue at 12:45 and starts "setting up" which means having my father call me and my mother as we were getting ready for the ceremony that started at 5:30, asking us where stuff goes. It was then my mother was fuming decided to call Sarah which of course she didn't answer because she was too busy with her double booked wedding. Of course there was nothing she could do since she was so far away. Basically my aunt and cousin went down there and set up EVERYTHING and did what we paid Sarah to do in the first place. If it wasn't for them my dream wedding would not have been as perfect as it was. After the wedding my mother of course reached out to her to talk things over and she has yet to respond. Basically ladies if you are looking to book a wedding planner just make sure that you have found the right one who won't screw you over three weeks before your wedding and will keep promises.

    DO NOT USE HER SERVICES! We booked her as the planner for my daughters wedding, on May 20th. When we first met her, Sarah, told my daughter that we wouldn't have to be concerned with anything that's why we were hiring her so that we could enjoy this day stress-free. Now, I do not know how she did not write that date on the contract and why she didn't check the contract before April 28, 2017. She had an entire year to review that contract for accuracy. Instead, she waited until four weeks before our daughter's wedding to discover she had doubled booked herself. Trying to rectify her mistake she asked another "planner" to take her place. At no time did I see the stand-in take any written notes but I did hear Sarah discuss with my daughter and her about the decor and to go over in detail where everything was to be set up and placed. On the day of the rehearsal, we waited 25 minutes for her stand in to show up. My family lined the wedding party up and executed this twice before the stand in showed up late. Her excuse was babysitting issues however she did not call to let anyone know. On the 20th, the site was open for her to begin the setup process at 9 am, she came at 11. She brought no one to assist her. She began to literally spin around in circles asking and anyone that would answer where she should place items That is when I called Sarah. I do not know what she said in her conversation with her but I can tell you, whatever was said was not helpful. She was completely unprepared to do her job, and that is a reflection of Sarah. It was only because of my family that my daughter's dream wedding became a reality. She should be ashamed of herself for conducting her business like this. Her "sorry" does not excuse her for a mistake that she made. It does not excuse the inept abilities of her stand-in. I emailed Sarah to let her know how upset I was with everything she hasn't responded.
