To say I loved the way I looked on my big day is an understatement. Words can’t describe how happy I was to have found Tomi. She is caring, responsive, prompt, professional and most importantly, does her job well. I could tell she doesn’t just do this because it’s something to do. She loves and takes her artistry seriously and it shows in how she treats her clients and the level of perfection she puts into her work. Couldn’t have found a better person to glam me up. -

Where to start? Tomi was amazing from the first moment I contacted her. Her professionalism and eagerness to help and even prepare a custom quote for me caught my attention. I had reached out to her initially for Bridal hair only but her poise, attention to detail and professionalism sold me to hire her as my Bridal Hair and makeup artist. She even personalized my package to include hair and makeup for the Mother of the Bride, Mother of the Groom, my Sister-In-Law and bridal party. She truly worked with my budget without being pushy. I booked her way prior to the pandemic so when everything started closing due to the virus, Tomi was kind enough to reach out and check up on my family and I. I must say she is the only vendor that extended that courtesy. I love how she personalized my experience with her and took the time to know me, our story and my family. She felt like a friend where she would check in with me every now and then to see how I was doing amidst the pandemic. The trial went great! It blew my mind away. She was gracious enough to include it in my customized package which I appreciated. I had several cancellations as we got closer to the wedding date 10.10.20 due to the pandemic where my bridal party numbers went down but Tomi worked ever so graciously with me and presented me with a new quote and that touched my heart. She was a constant source of encouragement throughout the entire process. The day before the wedding I had a last minute time change which involved traveling to two locations to get ready! Tomi and her team worked tirelessly to accommodate my bridal party and I to have an early start of 6am! (We had a morning wedding) I love, love, love how she is always so uplifting and calming!!! My goodness she calmed my nerves so much on the wedding day becoz I was panicking thinking we were running late and me being the Bride obviously wanted everything to run smoothly and perfectly! I love how she played upbeat, uplifting and encouraging music in the background as we got ready. Let me tell you, she made me absolutely stunning that my darling Groom had tears in his eyes as I walked down the aisle!! I received so many compliments from every single person how gorgeous I looked! I love the kindness she extended to my bridal party, my Groom and our 2 boys. My MOH looked absolutely beautiful she was speechless! My Jr. bridesmaid and flower girl were so adorable and beautiful! Many, many thanks to Ms. Tomi and her team (Ms. Jackie) for making my bridal party and I ever so beautiful and stunning! I not only got myself the best hair and Makeup artist, I got a friend and a sister in Tomi! Ladies... Book. Her!!! You will not regret it!!!MakemydayArtistry's reply:

Took time on my make up to make sure it was perfect. Wanted me to look my absolute best. Took time to calm me and even took extra time to add body shimmer so i would shine o my day. So funny and sweet, wanted to give me exactly what I wanted. Made me feel like a beautiful princess.MakemydayArtistry's reply:

Tomi from Make My Day Beautiful was amazing to work with. From the start, I felt heard. She took her time to understand my vision, she also gave her input respectfully. She flew in from Dallas to North Carolina for my wedding and did my ceremony and evening hair and makeup. It’s hard to find a MUA that does hair really well too. I definitely would recommend her for her professionalism, care for her brides and her skills!!! -

Ife Sent on 07/03/2018Tomi is absolutely the best! Very professional, timely, & willing to help in any capacity possible. Where do I start from? She was not only calm, but also made me calm. Her comforting words is second to none. My hair was supposed to be done the night before my wedding, but my stylist wasn't reachable. My sister called Tomi very early on my wedding day (6am), & she was more than willing to arrive earlier to style my hair. Although my stylist eventually made the hair, Tomi was very accomodating & professional in working with her. She not only made me look gorgeous, but also made me feel beautiful on my wedding day, as I was a little disappointed at my hair. MakemydayArtistry is absolutely the best in this business & I'd recommend her over & over & over again to anyone. Thank you Tomi for the huge love & support

From my makeup trial she put me at ease about some stresses I was facing during the planning phase. With one look at the inspiration photo for my look she put together a beautiful trial look that made me super excited for my big day.
On my big day she was so sweet and laughed and joked with my photographer and videographer -- which put me at ease and just made it an overall good time. She made me looked exactly how I imagined I would on my wedding day. She even helped me put finishing touches on my natural hair style-- free of charge! Another special thing she did for me was bring lip gloss and a small powder brush for me during the reception to touch up my face as the night went on. I highly recommend1 Tomi for your wedding makeup and I will definitely be using her for any future looks I need! -

Kehinde Sent on 06/26/2018I was completely unaware that ‘bridal makeup’ was even a thing. I rarely wear makeup, and preferred a more natural look for my wedding. Well, when I saw my makeup reveal, I was not disappointed! Not only did I look beautiful, but I felt beautiful! Also important to note, she freely helped me with skin issues I that flared up weeks before my wedding, and was always prompt with responding to me - an absolute for any bride. Not to forget keeping my face flawless after those family hugs. I'm so glad I chose you for my makeup. its not over yet, we have to keep in touch. I will definitely be using you for my face beats going forward <3
