Alyssa goes above and beyond
I had an incredible experience working with Make Up by Lyss. She was exceptional at communicating throughout the entire process, ensuring I felt confident and heard every step of the way. Her attention to detail and professionalism made the day go smoothly. Working with her was an absolute pleasure, and I can't recommend her enough for her outstanding talent and dedication.

Absolutely wonderful to work with!
Alyssa was so amazing to work with. She was very professional and was fast with her replies, and would post on her instagram if she wasnt able to reply right away. She made me feel relaxed on the day of my wedding and not to mention STUNNING! She listened to what I wanted and what I didn’t want, if I didn’t like anything she would change it right away, but honestly she did such an amazing job there wasn’t anything I wanted to change. -

If you need a team for bridal hair & makeup….this is it. Alyssa absolutely nailed my classy bridal look. I have truly never felt more beautiful. My bridesmaids felt so well taken care of- everyone is still raving that their example photos are exactly what they got. Beyond the obvious beauty of her work, Alyssa is well organized, on time, down to earth and a good listener- she tweaked things that I wanted from my trial to make it perfection on my wedding day. I have absolutely no regrets about booking with her & would recommend her to anyone who needs event hair/makeup. Her and her team made my wedding morning so stress free. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel the prettiest I’ve ever felt!! -

Lyss did my hair for two events during my 3 day wedding weekend and I can not recommend her enough! From our initial meeting I knew I was in good hands with her professionalism and kind nature. She took care to understand my vision for each hair style and each look I had and she did not disappoint! Lyss has an attention to detail and demands perfection with her work. As a South Asian bride, I had many jewelry pieces that attached to my hair and scarf. I was especially worried about this because I did not want them to shift and move during the day. Lyss delivered and made sure not only that my hair looked perfect, but that all of my jewelry and scarf did not budge which was truly impressive! She made me feel at ease, and beautiful and I am so happy I had her by my side during my wedding weekend!! -

Love love love
Lyss was so amazing! She was recommended to me by another bride. I had no idea what I wanted hair or makeup wise. On the wedding day, I completely changed my mind, wanting a natural rather than a glam look. It was perfect. I felt both elegant and spruced up while staying true to my very plain self. I have seen my mom wear makeup once in my whole life. Needless to say, she was nervous about the process. In the end, she was totally into it, loving how she looked and felt. All of the stylists who came to help were so kind and fun. Hands down, cannot recommend enough ❤️ -

They did a perfect job on our hair and makeup and everyone loved it! If you show them a picture your makeup will look even better than the picture! The makeup also will last the whole entire night. They also were very organized, clean, friendly, and welcoming! -

Highly recommend!!!! I had Kleah do my hair and makeup for my wedding along with the bridesmaids. I have never felt so beautiful in my life!! I felt like a rockstar! She was so talented and such a perfectionist! The wedding was absolutely magical thanks to her gorgeous hair and make-up that she gave me! I didn't even show her an inspo pic she just knew exactly what to do and nailed it! Also the makeup lasted not only throughout the wedding but also the next day and even my lashes
were still on! She gave me a huge Hollywood wave too that lasted!Worth every penny and nothing less
than perfection and absolutely stunning!! -

Perfection!
I don’t even have enough words to express how grateful I am to Alyssa for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I am beyond thrilled that she was the one to do my makeup! Not only is she excellent at what she does, but she’s also a really fun person to be around. She fit right into my bridal party as one of the girls! My makeup was flawless throughout my entire wedding day and she even so kindly left me with some of her makeup to do touch ups throughout the day. However, I never even needed touch ups because my makeup stayed perfectly intact from 7:30 am all the way through my after party concluded at 2:30 am! If you are looking for someone who is excellent, professional, and such a good person to be around to do your makeup on your wedding day, look no further. I married the love of my life on November 4, 2023, and I can confidently say that my wedding day, the most important day of my life, would not have been the same without Makeup By Lyss. To be completely transparent, there are impossible beauty standards placed on brides by society and social media. It can really take a toll on you during the wedding planning process - especially the days leading up to your wedding. It’s so easy to look in the mirror and pick out everything you don’t like about the way you look, and I was really nervous about how I would feel about myself on my wedding day. I can confidentially say that I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life than I did on my wedding day. I felt like a princess. And that is thanks to Lyss. I’ve never gotten so many compliments about how beautiful my hair and makeup was or questions about “who did your hair and makeup”. Everyone wanted to know!! Not only was it magical, but it lasted all night long. My intricate, fairytale-like updo stayed in place the whole night even through 2+ hours of dancing!! I’m a cryer. And not like a little tear here and there. I mean there was a flood of tears coming down my face, and I had to do minimal touch ups throughout the night for Lyss’s signature makeup look. I could really go on and on and on about her. Not only is she an incredible artist, but she is an incredible human. I’m truly grateful and honored that she was my bridal hair and makeup artist 💗 -
