I couldn't have been happier with my experience with MakeupLove By LaVonne on my wedding day! From the moment I reached out, LaVonne was incredibly responsive and accommodating. I ran a few minutes late to my appointment, but she handled it with such professionalism and flexibility, starting with my mom's makeup right away. Her energy was so positive and calming – exactly what I needed on such a big day. The makeup she did was absolutely stunning; I kept receiving compliments all day long. Lavonne is truly a master in her craft!!!! I was referred to Lavonne by countless clients of hers and I discovered why on my wedding day! Not only was she there , ready & set up before her designated time. She moved swiftly thru each bridesmaid without any of them looking "rushed" thru. Her ability to customize each person's look with paying attention to problem areas, varied complextions & bone structures, allowed each of us to look and feel RADIANT!! I was an out of town bride, which eliminated my ability to have a trial run with her. She listened to my desired look & transformed my words into a look that every bride longs for on her forever... -

LaVonne is simply amazing and came highly recommended! My experience with her was extremely unique. She did my makeup when I was 16 years old as a junior bridesmaid and fast forward 10+ years she did may make up as a bride. Lavonne was very professional, patient, and gelled with my bridal party and family as if she were one of us. I am so glad to have had her as my makeup artist not once but twice and I highly recommend her services! -

LaVonne is simply amazing! I found LaVonne online while searching for someone to doll me up for my engagement shoot. She was very responsive and kind. I rarely wear makeup so I was nervous about the outcome but she made me look good! I could barely recognize myself and the engagement photos turned out great. Needless to say, I hired her again for my wedding. She made me and my entire bridal party (9 of us in total) look absolutely stunning. I also appreciated her flexibility in showing up a little earlier since we had a tight timeframe for transitioning to the venue. If you're looking for someone to make you look and feel glamorous for any event or occasion, I highly recommend Lavonne's services. I'm sure I'll be back again at some point in the future. :-) -

I had the pleasure of meeting Lavonne and her wonderful team at a bridal expo at the Chase Center February 2022. I contacted her to simply create for my wedding and she served and literally created masterpieces. She was more than accommodating making sure I loved and was overly satisfied for my bridal trial. LaVonne is very professional, punctual and thorough at her work, not to mention a joy to be around and conduct business with. She nailed the makeup experience and made all of bridal babes including my moms and myself as the bride feel and look like Queens!! -

I’ll start by saying that I am not a makeup person at all. So when I began my search for a makeup artist for my engagement shoot/wedding, I didn’t know where to start. As I was checking out the portfolios of local makeup artists, LaVonne stood out to me because her clients weren’t all one ethnicity or skin tone, and they ALL looked incredible. I reached out and she quickly responded. Since I don’t know that much about makeup I did my best to describe the look I was going for and LaVonne somehow knew exactly what I wanted.
Fast forward to my wedding day. LaVonne showed up to our hotel on time and got started right... -

LaVonne is a true professional and does an amazing job applying makeup but what makes her even better is her positive energy and vibe. Lavonne did my makeup, along with my bridal party for my wedding on 9/21/19. She was absolutely amazing. She was on time, prepared, and actually helped calm my nerves on the big day. My makeup looked absolutely beautiful, and stayed on through the heat and the tears. I would 100 percent recommend. I received so many compliments on my makeup, and my entire bridal party was also happy with theirs as well. -

I booked LaVonne about a year and half in advance. I am from Baltimore and met her in Wilmington. She asked me about what I wanted and needed for my wedding day. She took notes and was able to reproduce the same look a year and a half later. I had a change in my bridal party and she was able to send me a new invoice with new pricing. On the day, she arrived early and was able to accommodate the time change in order to get everyone ready in time. I received so many compliments on my makeup especially from my husband. He liked how the makeup made me look flawless, but still looked like me. I would recommend LaVonne over and over again! -

Amazing, Amazing, flawless makeup!
LaVonne was very professional and friendly. I had a trial with her, and she made me feel very comfortable. I had some little adjustments for the day of my wedding and she executed perfectly!! She did my mom’s makeup as well and was very patient and kind to her. She was on time. Got everything done in a timely manner. Made the start of my wedding day so easy and stress free. I looked and felt amazing on my day!!! I highly recommend booking with her ☺️ I will definitely be using her again for any future make up needs. -

Amazing to say the least!
Words cannot describe the amazing experience that I had with hiring & working with Lavonne. From start to finish, I never once felt pressured or undecided. Lavonne is extremely professional, upbeat, positive, knowledgable, patient, very helpful & a true blessing to my wedding day. We had 4 girls getting ready and the schedule for all of us was smooth & organized. Lavonne's experience is outstanding. All of my girls raved about their glam & received lots of compliments. Including my own which was above & beyond. Lavonne's skill set is UNMATCHED. Excited mother
LaVonne made me more and more happy and excited and so eager to get in her chair each time I’ve seen how she beautified each woman the transformation were outstanding… Then the Bride her natural beauty was enhanced and when she played up my natural beauty I said yasss sis yess we laughed she talked explained told me what she was using and applied and did her thing… The dark circles were poof gone… I look forward to my next event so we can book her! -
