  Baby 1st bday

  Julie helped our family to create our son’s first birthday and it was beyond beautiful 💗 we love everything she did during the party and how detailed she was through the end. Thank you Julie!

  Mama is the best! Julia is amazing and talented wedding planner and floral designer. We received a full wedding planning with flowers. Julia is very knowledeable, creative, friendly, and professional. Mama truly made our day relaxing, enjoyable, and lovely. The decor and flowers were so beautiful! I highly highly recommend Mama!! :)

  Julia and her team was perfectly organized and went above and beyond to constantly help improve our wedding. She did our flower arrangements and design elements for the wedding which turned out beautiful! Her team made sure everything ran smoothly on the wedding day.
  My wedding turned out to have more guests than expected but Mama's planning team was able to quickly handle any kind of unexpected situations.   Honest review for future brides

  I did the full package to try to lessen my stress throughout the whole wedding planning process, but I think it created more stress to be honest. I’ll provide all the pros and cons for this wedding planner.
  
  Julia knows a lot about weddings and how it should be run. She’s a good speaker, so she can talk you into things. In the beginning, I thought she would be an amazing planner. The first time I thought that maybe I was mistaken, was when she falsely told me how if I contract with catering/photographer/makeup&hair through Mama’s PP, then they give 10% discount. On the day of contract, she said catering is not part of it. I was very confused and felt like I was being scammed, but I let it go. When I met with the photographer that she recommended, he said 10% d/c was not part of the deal. I looked for a different photographer for our wedding because there was no benefit of choosing who Julia recommended, when his photos didn’t amaze me either. Only the hair/makeup provided 10% discount and she was actually good.
  
  Throughout the wedding planning process, she didn’t do much except answering my questions, which is okay, but there were some minor things that I needed help with and when I asked her about it, her response was “it wasn’t mentioned on the contract”. This was her response to all my requests and what frustrated me because there was literally nothing she was doing to help me through. So, if you decide to go with this lady, make sure you pinpoint every little thing you think you would need help with and say it before the contract, or even better have her write it on the contract so she doesn’t change her words later on.
  
  On the day of the wedding, decorations were great, better than I expected. Table decorations, entrance table, flowers were great, although I still don’t think it was worth $3500 for it. This price was only for the reception part of it.
  
  If there are other types of decorations you want, it’s all on you. She doesn’t decorate other than what she has supplies for, so make sure you have a plan for how you want it decorated before giving her the money.
  
  I’m not sure if every place is run like this, but we had to make the full payment 2 months before the event. I think this might contribute to why she does the absolute minimum amount of work, because she already got the money, and feels that she has nothing to lose.
  
  Before contracting, keep in mind that this is her second job. She doesn’t have an office, which is fine, but she shouldn’t be charging the same as what other “officially run” wedding planners would if she’s not willing to put in the same time and effort. She claims that she is cheaper compared to other places, but this is not true. I do give credit for the time and effort put in on the day of, but overall, I don’t think it was worth the money. She does the bare minimum that she needs to do. The things she did for the wedding (for ours at least) were
  1. Answering questions
  2. Decorating tables and chairs for reception
  3. Flowers
  4. Coordinate with the MC for the reception
  
  Last thing I want to mention is that she is rude. She’s an older lady, so maybe that’s why she didn’t have any respect for me. What made me upset was when my mom asked her why a certain thing was this way, she said “YOUR daughter wanted it this way. I told her not to”. It was my wedding and I wanted it a certain way and my mom wasn’t complaining or anything. She just wanted to know and just because I didn’t do it her way, she tells my mom to blame me for it.
  
  A lot of things that I didn’t mention, but these were the big things. I would not choose her whatsoever and I would not recommend to any of my friends or sisters. Maybe just for the day of decoration/coordination. Definitely not worth the full package. There is no set price either, so whatever she says is how much it costs.
