    Great shots!

    We hired Robert to take both engagement photos and photograph our wedding in June 2018. Robert was easy to work with, asked for our input, and had some great suggestions for engagement photo locations in DC. We ended up with some great photos that we will always cherish.

    Working with Robert was simple and pleasant. He was always quick to respond and happy to work with whatever ideas you had. He was able to offer professional insight,keep everything organized, and expand upon every idea. He was extremely reasonably priced. He also sent previews of some of the photos very quickly after the event.

    We hired Mang Photography to photograph our wedding and I was very impressed with Robert's professionalism, communication, and most of all, the quality of the photos. Robert was great about communicating ahead of time getting everything organized. Our photos look terrific and Mang Photo was more affordable than many other options we looked at. I'd be happy to work with Mang again and will recommend this service to friends.

    Patient and Professional

    Robert photographed my wedding and did a spectacular job! He communicated regularly and kept us on track. He was organized. He was patient on the day of, like I mentioned to him. He was on time on the day. He was also just a nice guy, which really helps when you are a stressed out bride. He was also an incredible value. I really can't say enough about how great he was and how great our pictures turned out. Of all the vendors, I was most pleased with his service, communication and of course the final product - the pictures!! He gave us previews to hold us off while he made edits - he was just amazing.

    Robert has a great eye at events, whether it's capturing candid shots of guests, or organizing two large families for group shots. I had worked with Robert before on a private event, and knew he was the perfect photographer to capture my wedding, too. Not only is he talented, but he is exceptional at working with people and getting the best out of them. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a skilled, well-priced photographer who knows how to find the best in your event. Very easy to work with and very great at adapting to any situation.

    Robert was amazing from day one. He made me feel very comfortable and at ease contacting me to make sure we were on the same page multiple times leading up to the big day. He was very kind and made sure to get every picture I had requested and more. I am thrilled with how they turned out and smile every time I look at them. He really did a great job capturing our day!     Robert was a great wedding photographer for us. I phone interviewed him, had an in-person interview, and heard from 2 of his references about 10 months before our wedding. In the lead-up, he actually reached out to ME, reminding ME that I wanted to touch base with my list of photos, preferences, wedding day details, etc., so that tells me he was on the ball. Once I had the photo list, preferences, etc. documented, he set up a phone call about a week or 2 before the wedding, and we stepped through the timeline, and he advised me how to order the shots, how to make sure family photos go as smoothly as possible, etc. We added one hour to the contract, and the contract change was a breeze. On the wedding day, he was on time and ready to go for our first look. I was an antzy bride, so he dealt with the, "What time is it?" question a lot and didn't seem to mind. (Actually, I was honest about not being crazy about posed pictures to begin with, and he didn't seem offended.) He breezed us through family portraits before the ceremony and then the big family portraits during cocktail hour. I actually had 30 minutes of my cocktail hour thanks to him. I know he was *there,* but I totally didn't notice him during the ceremony or reception. He gave us a heads up when his time was up and thanked us for our business. Per our contract, he delivered preview pictures the next business day--only he provided 14--4 more than contractually obligated. And again, within contract deadlines, he delivered the entire set of photos 5 weeks and 1 day after the wedding. Then we received the CD with the images about 6–7 weeks after the wedding. Out of the 800ish photos he took, I find about 175 to be good candidates for an album. He got great photos and followed my preferences. Very happy with Robert and the photos.

    Wonderful wedding photographer

    Robert was great - the photos turned out fantastic, and are very high quality. I am grateful that he made the trek to Cherry Hill, New Jersey for our wedding day. We were unable to meet with Robert prior to our wedding day due to distance (I lived in Canada until immediately before the wedding) however it proved to be no problem at all. Robert communicates extremely well and captured exactly what we had hoped for. He is professional and easy-going - a great mix!

    Excellent Experience


    I am so happy I found you!!!!! The pictures are very pretty, thank you very much!!! Thank you for capturing love that we will be sharing with our kids and grandkids, this is something that you can't put a price on.....and your price was very reasonable!!!!!!!!! I also want to thank you for taking so many pictures, my parents weren't there but they loved all the pictures.

    We already knew that Robert was a good photographer and a good guy, as he was one of my former students. However, we never knew how pleased we'd be with his services. He was always friendly, courteous, quick to respond to our many questions and did an incredible job with our photos. After seeing the photos, so many of our guests said 'I didn't even see him there.' But, he was literally everywhere, getting photos of every one of our 150 guests. He also provided us with 800+ photos from our wedding day, a whole other set from our engagement photo shoot (which was included in his package) and his rates were far more reasonable than anyone else we found. We highly recommend Mang Photo!

    Robert was easy to work with, responsive, and his pictures of our wedding revealed his wonderful talent as a photographer. He took excellent pictures of both still shots and candids.

    We were extremely happy with the sample pictures of the wedding, as well as the entire portfolio of pictures from the wedding, both of which he provided to us in a timely fashion.

    We also found the website for viewing and downloading the pictures very easy to use.

    Most of all, we thought that Robert's fee was extremely reasonable, especially compared with other wedding photographers in the DC metro area.

    Unprofessional and rude

    Booked him last year in September (wedding in April) and put down our deposit after signing a contract. Recently sent the remaining money ($700) and never heard from him for 5 days- not realizing he was out of town and had no cell service. I sent an email asking if he’d received the money and if our contract was still on, and IF not let us know so we’d have time to find someone else. He sends me a scathing email saying I “ruined his business” (not sure where he got that since I had only asked if he’d received my money in private email) and he didn’t want to shoot for someone who had fired him (uhh, we didn’t fire him- we simply asked if our contract was still on since we didn’t hear from him). We are happy we found someone else, as this level of unprofessionalism is not what we need on our day.
