  Amazing DJ!!

  Holy wow! Where do we begin? Most importantly, if you're reading this and deciding on a DJ, you're probably most interested in the music. Let us be the first to tell you that Marcus put together a phenomenal and FUN playlist for us and our guests to enjoy at our wedding. From the start, Marcus was collaborative with us on the types of songs we enjoyed, wanted played at our wedding, and the vibe we wanted. At our wedding, his entire setlist flowed so well that by the very last song everyone was left wondering how time had flown by so quickly - the true mark of a great time. If you're here and only care about the type of music Marcus will provide, rest assured... Marcus was the best DJ we've run into at a wedding. Period. My wife and I just so happened to be lucky enough to have had him play at our own wedding.
  
  However, I think the best way to describe Marcus, and the type service he'll provide, is by telling you about our wedding. My wife and I had contracted Marcus for our reception (dinner + dancing). We had hired a set of acoustic musicians to play for our ceremony and cocktail hour. Despite needing him from 8pm and onwards, Marcus came hours earlier to set up. He offered our officiant and other musicians additional microphones in case they needed them. After our ceremony, our acoustic musicians had to move locations to play for our cocktail hour. Without any instruction, Marcus took it upon himself to play music for our guests while the other musicians set up. Talk about really going above and beyond and stepping up in small ways that truly help make a wedding. During dinner, Marcus played the perfect music that helped set the mood and allowed for pleasant eating and conversation. He brought wireless microphones for our bridal party speeches and was amazingly adept at reading the room as to when the appropriate time was to stop the music and allow our speakers to speak. He was incredibly prepared and communicative with us (both before and during the wedding) and never imposed himself... as we all know some pesky DJs do on the big day. He was completely in tune with our timeline and flawlessly segwayed from dinner to our first dance to partying. On multiple occasions, family and friends stopped my wife and I just to gush about how much fun they were having and how they loved Marcus and his music. He was truly one of the best people we have EVER worked with.
  
  Tl;dr - Marcus is amazing at his craft and will absolutely rock your wedding! He's incredibly conscientious of your needs. Prepared beyond belief. Highly respectful and an amazing human being. And an absolute pleasure to work with. HIRE. THIS. MAN. Your guests will thank you for it after! :)

  Immaculate vibes on the dance floor

  We are so lucky to have found Marcus for our wedding. He was professional and communicative but also warm and personable. Multiple guests commented that he was the best DJ they had heard at a wedding and particularly complimented his smooth transitioning. We gave him an eclectic mixture of songs spanning from kpop to bossa nova to reggaeton to motown. Marcus crafted an artful lineup out of our favorites and layered in recommendations of his own to fill in the cracks. The vibes were immaculate during cocktail hour and our friends and family had a blast on the dance floor.

  We are so lucky to have found Marcus for our wedding. He was professional and communicative but also warm and personable.   Marcus Ho was the perfect DJ!

  We used Marcus Ho for our 2024 wedding! From our first meeting with Marcus, we knew we were in good hands. We had a few calls with other DJs & Marcus stood out from the beginning. Not only was Marcus so personable, but he was truly determined to match the vibe my husband & I were looking for in our wedding music. Our venue was a restaurant with multiple rooms & he managed to have the sound play wonderfully throughout the place. He even went above & beyond by scoping out the restaurant the day before to ensure his set up for the day of.
  Marcus did a great job of announcing our toasts, clearing the floor for first dances & providing thoughtful and meaningful announcements when needed. He kept our dance floor packed all night long by playing our “must plays” while also feeling the vibe of the room to keep everyone (regardless of age) dancing and having fun.
  Looking back on our wedding, there were little mishaps & things we did not expect for. The true ONE thing my husband & I never had to worry or think about was our music. Having Marcus be our DJ alleviated any potential stress because we know he truly cared about our wedding. He was extremely flexible with the venue, personable with our guests, and exceptionally talented at what he does. I would recommend him 100x over! Out of the different vendors we had - restaurant, hair/makeup etc THIS guy is the absolute #1 recommendation.

  A+ full package DJ/Emcee who gives the entire experience at an affordable rate

  We went with Marcus Ho after reaching out to 10+ DJs in the NYC for quotes. Marcus Ho was among one of the most affordable, but through our initial calls with other DJs, he was also the most communicative, accommodating and organized DJ we talked to. After having our wedding, we were SO GLAD to have went with Marcus, and we've recommended him to a couple other friends as well.
  
  Reasons why Marcus was awesome:
  1) Was able to customize all the songs/playlists to our liking. We had individual walkout songs for each groomsman/bridesmaid pair.
  2) Music was awesome! Transitions were very professional, fluid and sounded at times like we were at a club! Some of these songs are not easy to transition from one to another.
  3) Good equipment, sound quality - I've been to way too many weddings where the ceremony/speeches you get feedback or it's not loud/too loud. Not at ours!
  3) DJ + emcee all in one. You only pay tip once and only for one vendor meal!
  4) Overly, very communicative, came early, video chatted with us a couple times before the wedding and overall a+++ experience!

  Marcus was a massive help for our wedding, and we couldn’t have done it without his support! He helped guide us with his expertise during the planning phase as well as making sure the day of went smoothly as the DJ/MC. Thanks again, Marcus!

  The Best Wedding DJ!

  Marcus was an excellent DJ and made us feel confident working with him from our very first call. He did a great balancing MCing and making announcements at the perfect times while not taking away from the music or party. He even accommodated our special request of joining our string trio for a song during our recessional for our ceremony, even though he was supposed to just do the reception. We appreciated that he knew our venue and even charged us less because the venue had a good sound system. Would highly recommend!

  Totally blown away!

  DJ Marcus was amazing from the very first phone call to the big day. Marcus was thoughtful, caring, organized, and fun. We were so impressed by the level of organization with which he approached creating the right musical environment. He was purposeful in understanding our tastes and preferences, as well as him wanting to understand the whole day so he could hit all the right notes, so to speak. As with many weddings, we had a musically diverse crowd that spanned generations, styles, cultures, etc. and yet everyone kept coming up to us and commenting how the DJ was absolutely incredible. Many were also impressed with his technology and hardware that were sleek-looking and had great sound. There was not a dull moment throughout the night thanks to Marcus. We cannot recommend him enough and know you will enjoy working with him as much as we did.

  A true pro!

  Marcus was a true professional from start to finish. He was organized, prompt with communication, and very knowledgable. During the reception he was able to quickly adapt according to our guests’ energy and diverse tastes, and even revived the dance floor a few times. I wish I had a photo of him during the event, he even tailored his setup to the aesthetic of the venue and it looked perfect!
  
  In the days following our wedding, multiple guests have commented on how wonderful and skilled he was. We would 100% hire Marcus again, and recommend him to anyone!

  DJ Marcus Ho Was Amazing!

  DJ Marcus Ho is the best DJ and one of the best (if not the best) vendor we worked with for our wedding. He was extremely professional, communicative, and played fantastic music. He answered me same day when I had initially started reaching out for DJs and his initial email had a good amount of information I needed, including cost, packages, and other details you are looking for with a DJ. Also, Marcus not only did his DJ duties, but was able to MC as well for us. We weren't looking for an over the top MC - like the ones who do too much on the dance floor. Instead we were looking for someone who was able to make the proper announcements and also keep the hype up, which Marcus was great at!
  
  The whole process of working with Marcus was extremely painless and wonderful. He was very fast with answering emails and addressed any questions we had. We had 2 meetings - 1 initial introduction meeting, which immediately after I knew he was the DJ for us, and a 2nd meeting a few weeks before our big day to discuss details. Marcus provides a worksheet for the couple to fill out with Wedding party details, music picks, etc. It was very detailed and during the 2nd meeting, we discussed it in detail so he is able to ensure that your day goes well. He also above and beyond to contact the venue for our wedding as I believe it was his first time working at our venue. He wanted to make sure that he would be able to set up properly for cocktail hour and reception, and he did so without me having to be involved at all (all I needed to provide was the contact information). Marcus was also able to work on the fly with accommodate a last minute change we had to our wedding and it went off without a hitch. I had emailed him the evening before with the change and on the day, he was 100% able to make sure it was taken care of.
  
  Marcus is not one of those DJs where you give him a list of must plays and he takes them as suggestions. He does his best to play everything that you want played at your wedding. We had so many requests that I was worried not everything was going to be played, but after our 2nd meeting, he ensured us that we could even provide a few more songs, which was fantastic! Right before our wedding, he provided his mix of songs he was going to play for our guest arrival and cocktail hour. All the songs he picked fit the vibe that we were going for. On our wedding day, he played all the songs plus some more that went perfectly along with the songs we requested. He read the room and knew what our guests would love dancing to. We had a ton of fun, and our guests seemed to have as well - all thanks to Marcus immaculately curating the vibes.

  Flawless wedding music

  Where do I begin! From the moment we first met with Marcus, we knew he was the DJ for us. He is so charismatic and easy to talk to. He respected our vision and gave helpful suggestions when we didn’t quite know how we wanted things to go (how does anyone know what they’re doing when planning their first wedding?!). The music was flawlessly executed from guest arrival to the final song of the reception. I can’t tell you how many people commented on the music! The dance floor was packed all night long, so much so that we had late night dessert and I think much of it went uneaten because everyone was having too much fun to leave the dance floor lol. We had a few “unique” moments of our wedding and Marcus not only supported our crazy ideas but implemented them perfectly. Thank you Marcus for making our best day ever unforgettable!

  Incredible DJ!!

  Marcus did a fantastic job DJing our wedding. He was able to seamlessly meld music from different cultures, eras, and genres which kept the dance floor lively the whole night. During the work up to the wedding he was so helpful and had great ideas—he helped us think through and navigate the different transitions in our wedding and figure out what types of music we wanted played. He also worked very well with our band, providing equipment they needed and helping them set up. He is such a pleasure to work with, a true professional, and is a genuinely wonderful person—if you are looking for a DJ you should look no further!!

  Best DJ for our NYC wedding

  We hired Marcus Ho to DJ our wedding in NYC and we could not have been more pleased with our experience! From the moment I initially reached out, Marcus has always been quick to respond, answer our questions, and reassure us all is taken care of. He met with us a couple times before the wedding to really understand our vision, our taste in music, the itinerary for the day, etc. He did not leave a single detail uncovered. The day of the wedding, we immediately knew we made the right decision trusting Marcus with entertaining our guests. The music was fantastic, the sound was great, he paid attention to our request of playing some Persian music sets for my husband's family. Guests just raved about our DJ. Thank you Marcus!!

From the very beginning, Marcus was attentive to every detail and helped us shape our vision for the music throughout our wedding day. It felt as though he understood our personal tastes and style, and did a great job suggesting and selecting playlists. He even went out of his way to help us edit our first dance song, which was a mashup of several different songs.

  Could not recommend DJ Marcus Ho more highly! He had everyone dancing at our wedding, from my 2 year old cousin to my 92 year old grandma! Everyone had such a blast--he seamlessly played music that appealed to all generations and kept the energy so high all night. And, of course, was a pleasure to work with. Could not recommend more highly!

  We were so lucky to have Marcus as our DJ for our wedding! He is flexible, responsive, professional, and talented... we could not have found someone that was more perfect for us. Marcus took the time to get to know us and he easily understood what we were looking for. He suggested a few songs for the mom and son dance, and the song we ended choosing off the list was perfect. The worksheet and meetings were incredibly thorough and helpful in guiding us through the planning. We even had the honor of meeting his cat over zoom! When we discovered a small issue during the planning process completely unrelated to the music, Marcus offered to help even though it was above and beyond what he signed up for. He is truly kind. Our guests had an absolute blast on the dance floor on the day of the wedding. Lastly, we also rented our photobooth from him and we love the photos that we got to look at right after. We would 100% recommend Marcus and hope we get to stay friends. Thank you so so much for being a part of our day!

  Marcus was an absolutely incredible DJ at our engagement party in Brooklyn. We had 250 people and everyone was on the dance floor. My dad even said “who needs a band? A good dj is even better” after that night. Marcus was easy to work with, communicative, affordable, and totally understood the assignment. Highly recommend!

  Trust us, he's THE ONE :)

  It was such a pleasure working with Marcus! For reference, my husband and I partnered with him for our wedding.
  
  From the moment we sent an initial inquiry to the day of our wedding, Marcus was extremely responsive and organized. He left us with a great first impression when we formally met (over Zoom! Very accommodating) but what impressed us the most was our last meeting. He asked us to fill out a wedding worksheet in preparation for the call, which asked such detailed questions about every aspect of the night, even details we did not think of i.e., song for cake cutting, song for bouquet toss, etc.
  
  When we had our last call, he reviewed every input thoroughly, provided great suggestions on how to optimize duration of songs for every special moment, and was extremely accommodating with sound/equipment. We also appreciated how considerate he was when working through introductions i.e., practiced pronouncing the names of our parents + bridal party, asked us how we wanted to be introduced, asked us how we wanted to introduce our parents for their special dances, etc.
  
  The day of our wedding, our guests were having so much fun on the dance floor, kids included! Marcus was also so great about adjusting the music to the vibe of the night. The transitions from song to song were smooth and nothing felt abrupt or out of place. Additionally, we understand that preparing music sets is an artform, but Marcus was so accommodating with any song requests that came down from our guests.
  
  We were confident in our decision with him but knew he was truly THE ONE seeing how meticulous he was at work. We also felt his sincerity seeing how excited he was to celebrate with us :) We highly recommend working with Marcus for your next major event - you will not be disappointed!

  Couldn't be happier with Marcus - best wedding ever!

  Marcus DJed and emceed our NYE wedding on 12/31/2022. We set out to give our guests a stress free, fantastic NYE wedding and dance party, and he was such a key person to making that happen.
  
  He acted as emcee for the entire night, and spent time with us and our wedding planners beforehand to plan out different moments (e.g. first dance, couple introduction, midnight toast) so each was executed exactly as dreamed. Marcus made our wedding so much better with his presence.
  
  My partner and I said to each other more than once that we were so grateful for him. Beyond the emceeing, he meticulously crafted a set list for the most incredible and memorable dance party. I was so impressed by the depth of his musical knowledge! My guests, partner, and I danced the entire set list, and were overjoyed to hear specific song requests we had seamlessly mixed into the overall disco / pop / dance vibe we wanted. Many of my friends love to dance and I haven't seen them bust out their moves in ages. I hugged so many loved ones who thanked me for giving them this night, saying that they were having the best time.
  
  There are so many moments of the night I'll never forget, and it was such a hit in no small part because of Marcus' involvement. I cannot recommend him highly enough as a DJ, emcee, and planning partner. He went above and beyond to make sure that my partner, my family, my guests were all comfortable and that the event was a success. What's more to say? Best night ever, best DJ ever. Thank you Marcus!

  Great Decision

  Marcus MC’d and DJ’d our wedding and we could not be happier. From showing up early for sound check, offering assistance to our ceremony musicians and going out of his way to meet & congratulate our parents, he went above and beyond throughout the process.
  
  Not to mention, he kept everything moving and had the dance floor absolutely packed the entire night. Truly the best!
