Emily was top notch the whole time in planning our wedding at the Golf Club of Georgia. She was recommended by them, and we immediately saw why - she is so detail oriented while not making you feel overwhelmed with decisions to be made, and she helps guide you with recommendations on what is really important for your big day. She put not just me and my fiancé at ease, but also my parents after their first meeting (and that means a lot in the stress of planning a wedding!). She truly was a trusted partner throughout the whole process and even on the day of was wonderful to have by my side waiting to walk down the aisle. I can't recommend Emily and Marea Events enough - she will take care of you and help make sure your day goes off without a hitch, your guests will have a great time, and you will be able to look back so fondly on your big day. Thank you Emily! -

Emily did a great job as our month of planner. We got married at TPC Sugarloaf and she was very familiar with the venue and event staff which was a huge help. She helped with the small details, touched base with all the vendors, and made sure we had nothing to worry about at the end of the night. She was always patient and kind despite whatever issues arose. -

Great Wedding Planning Experience
We can’t thank Emily Goldstein of Marea Weddings and Events enough for helping us plan an amazing wedding! It was truly the wedding of our dreams and Emily was crucial in making all of our wishes a reality. We hired Emily for partial planning services. Our top goals were to have fun, keep our stress levels as low as possible, and enjoy the wedding planning process and our wedding day. Emily made sure we achieved all these goals from day one of planning, to the day of and even after. She is a dedicated and fierce advocate for her clients. Planning meetings were always upbeat, positive, and productive. She recommended several of the vendors who we contracted with, and they were all amazing and spoke very highly of Emily! We always felt confident that things would be taken care of and our best interests were always top of mind. We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding weekend! We were able to fully immerse ourselves into enjoying our special day because we knew Emily had prepared us well and had everything under control the day of and after. If you are still considering a planner for your wedding, look no further. Emily is the one! We highly recommend Marea Weddings and Events for your special day! -

We found Marea Weddings & Events through Wedding Wire. I had to pick between them and another coordinator. Needless to say, the other coordinator didn't even get an interview with me because of how responsive and tentative Emily was from the very beginning. As soon as we met Emily, we knew we needed to hire her. It helped that she has experience working at the wedding venue that we had booked.
She has been a rock star helping us plan our wedding. We knew we didn't need someone to plan our whole wedding, but maybe help us a month before the actual wedding. Emily was able to customize our plan for us. The best thing we did was hire Emily from all our vendors. We thought we didn't need to hire a coordinator, but boy were we wrong. She is truly amazing! She went above and beyond for us. We were having a lot of issues with our venue and she was there every step of the way. On our rehearsal dinner and wedding day, she was working behind the scenes making sure everything was taken care of. We didn't have to worry about anything.
You think after the wedding you're done, you don't need a wedding coordinator anymore, but NOPE we were wrong. Our wedding venue ended up overcharging us and when we contacted Emily, she immediately came to our aid to help us to resolve the issue. If you want someone who is committed in helping you plan a beautiful stress free wedding, you need to hire Emily! She very responsive, extremely personal, truly loves what she does and care about her clients! We can't say enough good thing about her and Marea Weddings & Events and highly recommend them. -

All I can say is “Thank god for Emily.” Emily was recommended to us by another event planner I inquired about but wasn’t available for our date. Boy am I so thankful things worked out the way they did because she was 10/10 the best investment we made for our wedding. My husband and I got married at the Wolf Mountain Vineyard. Although the venue does not allow outside coordinators, they made an exception because they knew Emily prior to this and knew how amazing she was. Although she didn’t have to she went above and beyond to make our day flawless and perfect. From the beginning she was never too pushy, always offering her advice when I needed it, asking me if I needed help and coming to all of my in-person vendor meetings at the drop of a hat. She took my vision and listened to me. I think that was what I admired most. She listened intently to my wants and needs and never faltered. The process up until wedding day was stressless and smooth and I was wondering when the stress was going to hit me…but that was the thing…it never did. I knew I was in good hands. The day of the wedding she was 100% on it and was there any second I needed her. She kept in touch with my bridesmaids, our groomsman, my mom and dad and every vendor in between. I never felt like there was going to be a ball dropped or like something was going to go wrong. I keep getting compliment after compliment from my other vendors about how calming of a presence she has and how she was just such a pleasure to work with. Not only was Emily an amazing coordinator but she was an even better friend to me and my husband James. She just fit our vibe and we adore her still even after the day has ended. Okay Okay, I will stop there…but don’t think.. just book her and thank me later. -

Marea Wedding and Events, specifically Emily, planned and executed our Wedding Weekend. We had a sit down rehearsal dinner for 50; and a cocktail party after for 75. The space was limited but Emily and her staff made it beautiful and functional. Our wedding day was flawless, all of the tables, i.e. card table, memory table, gift table, etc. were set up just as I imagined. We had a breakfast the next morning, and the flowers and signs were moved as requested and the room was beautiful. I would highly recommend Marea Wedding and Events.Marea Weddings & Events's reply:
