Maria is the BEST photographer hands down! Not only is she super sweet and genuine, but she is beyond talented! My husband does not like his picture to be taken, and with wedding pictures there are obviously a ton of pictures that are taken throughout the day/night. Maria did such a great job directing him/us for pictures, was super patient with us and our wedding party/families, and made us feel comfortable the whole time. We could not believe how efficient she was throughout the day, stuck to our timeline so well, and captured the most beautiful pictures I could have asked for. After working with Maria for the past two years from engagement pictures, our elopement pictures (when we had to postpone our wedding due to COVID), and finally our wedding, I am happy to say I also gained a friend. She also delivered our pictures to us so fast, especially given the amount of weddings she had this year due to all the postponements. I would HIGHLY recommend using Maria! -

Maria was amazing and gave us perfect memories of our wedding day! We have received so many compliments on our wedding photos!
Maria was professional, very communicative, and super easy to work with. From keeping us on timeline and being a boss with bystanders while we were doing our wedding party photos out in the city of Chicago, to getting us through a chaotic shot list of 35+ family photos in under 30 minutes, we do not have enough good things to say about our experience with Maria.
To anyone looking for an exceptional photographer to capture the most beautiful photos, we recommend Maria! -

If you are located in the Chicago or NYC metro areas, you will be doing yourself a disservice if you do not hire Maria Harte. She is the absolute best. She is a true professional, she has an incredibly kind and positive demeanor, she will work with your requests in any way she can, and she will deliver phenomenal photographs at an extremely reasonable price. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made during the process. -

Maria is such a talented photographer! We could not have asked for a better experience from our first meeting up until receiving our wedding day gallery. Maria is kind, thoughtful, and so personable. She made not only us feel comfortable but we received so many compliments from our bridal party and guests on how wonderful she was! She truly goes above and beyond. Her ability to capture the most raw, intimate, and important moments is truly outstanding. We were worried about getting the photos we wanted outside due to rain and a 97 degree day but she was able to work her magic and capture the most beautiful photos. You can’t go wrong with choosing Maria, we are so thankful we did! -

Maria was great! From our engagement session to wedding day, she was very responsive, helpful, friendly and organized. It was comforting as Maria really invested time in our wedding events and went over the top to get to know us. We had weather issues and it took 5 times to get our engagement photos completed but she was super supportive through it all! Even on our wedding day, the weather was not ideal but she quickly came up with plan B and plan C. Not only was the finished product amazing, but her presence on our special day was so welcomed by everyone. She captured all the genuine moments, tears, laughter, nerves and pure happiness that I remember about our day. Maria is so kind, caring and professional - I look forward to staying connected and hopefully taking more photos soon! -

Her love for photography is very apparent in her work. From our first meeting to the delivery of our photographs, and everything in between, my husband and I could not be more impressed. She is so warm and welcoming during your first meeting, so much fun during the engagement session, and incredibly accommodating to your own needs and wishes on your wedding day. She is the perfect combination of discreet but in control of all photo ops, ensuring that you get all photos that you want for the day. Kelsey Sent on 09/23/2018Maria is such an amazing wedding photographer. Not only is she very skilled, she is also super dedicated to her couples. We felt so comfortable taking photos with Maria and had such a fun time. For our engagement shoot, the weather was so cold that we had to cut it short, but Maria offered to do another mini shoot once it got warmer. Both sessions turned out amazing!!! She knows how important these photos are to her couples and will do anything within her power to get the perfect shot.
For the wedding, Maria was so professional. She worked well with our day of planner and other vendors to help keep our giant bridal party calm and on schedule (not an easy task). All of the bridesmaids and groomsmen loved her and had so much fun working with her. All of our friends and family still talk about how nice and professional Maria was and how much they love our photos. -

Ginny Sent on 11/25/2017From the first time we met with Maria about the wedding over a cup of coffee at a cafe near us, we knew. It was like we were meeting with a long lost friend. Maria is so easy to talk to and reassuring. She answered all of questions and addressed any concerns we had before we even brought them up.
When it came to the wedding day - she kept us on time for EVERYTHING! She was basically our photographer and coordinator. I can’t count how many times we heard her ask if we were having a good time and that she didn’t want us to worry about ANYTHING. As far as the photos go.. breathtaking. They are everything we hoped for and more. Maria captured so much love on our wedding day. Our wedding party and our parents are still talking about how great she was. One of my bridesmaids even used her for her family holiday photos after working with her on our wedding day. If you are looking for professionalism and someone that makes you feel comfortable look no farther. Maria Harte is the full package! -

Aspects of our experience with her that you will not know just from her website is that she is so lovely to talk to and be around. Our wedding was in New Orleans where she traveled with another photographer. She acted like our day of wedding coordinator and kept us calm and comfortable, which is super important on what can be a stressful day. She literally stopped traffic in the busy French Quarter to get us the perfect shots. We could not have been happier in our decision to work with her and we will always work with her in the future for the major moments in our life.

We have worked with her on multiple occasions that include a photo shoot, our engagement shoot, and also our wedding. There is honestly nothing negative we could say about Maria or her work ethic. She is very personable, and her work is top notch. Not only is she a great photographer, she is a great person that will go above and beyond to get that perfect shot. I’d truly give her 10 stars!!!
