A true artist.
I'm a Lead Wedding Planner for J29 Events in Portland, Oregon. I've had the opportunity to work with Mariana a few times, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say. She is a true artist and a gem. She's cool, calm and collected, and her work stands alone. She genuinely captures each couple effortlessly - she is flexible, fluid and professional. From the vendor perspective, she's a team player and an absolute delight, and I can't wait for the opportunity to work an event with her again. -

We are still gushing over our previews we received from Mariana and truly can’t believe they are of us. She did a truly amazing job on capturing our day so beautifully and better than we could have ever hoped for! Beyond that, Mariana is such a dream to work with and we could recommend her to anyone and everyone. She is super sweet and personable and directs you in a way that doesn’t feel I forced and makes you feel super comfortable. She was super flexible and understanding throughout the replanning process due to COVID. We can’t wait to have these pictures for many years to come! -

Mariana was amazing! She did an outstanding job making us feel comfortable and captured such precious moments. She made things easy and fun! She worked well with last minute changes and helped us find beautiful places to shoot our engagement and first look. We are in love with our photos! Though our initial photographers fell through, We are beyond blessed and grateful to have had Mariana as our photographer. If we would've known about her sooner, she would have been our number one choice! We're so glad we found her and chose her as our photographer! We would highly recommend her to anyone who's looking for one! -

My fiancé and I had never had professional pictures taken together before so from being really nervous, she created a great environment and fun time! She was super fun and you could tell she loved what she was doing. Never did I feel uncomfortable while on the shoot with her. She was very fast to respond to any questions and had a great list of possible locations. Mariana created a great memory for my fiancé and I to look back on as we continue our love story together. I loved working with Mariana and would work with her again!! -

Engagement Shoot
Mariana was amazing and we are happy we found her! We did our engagement shoot over at cannon beach and she was so helpful with location with the prettiest view! During the whole shoot, she made it feel so comfortable. I am so happy with our photos and will highly recommend Mariana! -

We are so happy we hired Mariana to photograph our wedding, she did an amazing job. My husband and I couldn't be happier with how our pictures turned out.
Mariana has the best style, is super professional and goes with the flow. She makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera, we were laughing the entire time. She caught all the special moments and the pictures turned out so genuine/natural.
We would recommend Mariana to anyone and we will cherish these pictures for the rest of our lives.

So much fun!
I can’t express enough how welcoming Mariana was the first time we met her, she greeted us with open arms. We are not a couple that likes to be in front of the camera but as soon as she started instructing us on what to do during the shoot our nerves were no where to be found. Our photos turned out better than I could have even imagined. I already cannot wait to book her for our next shoot! -

I absolutely love the pictures and the photographer!
Mariana is wonderful she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera even for my husband who usually does not like being photographed. She is very talented, exceptionally creative, easy going, very nice, kind, fun and great at communicating during the entire process start to finish! I work in a wedding industry as a floral designer and worked with Mariana Tey Photography many times for my business and this time for personal Christmas mini photo shoot and each time I’m blown away by the end results! Absolutely love each and every picture it’s nice to be photographed by someone who knows what they are doing, I can’t wait to shoot with her again! Highly recommend to anyone who wants great experience, amazing service and timeless pictures! -

Absolutely AMAZING!!
Mariana did a wonderful job with our engagement photos! The day of our shoot it was cold and raining (cleared up right in time for the photos) and Mariana was positive the whole time! She was so much fun to work with and made the whole experience amazing. She is so talented and if you are looking for a photographer, stop looking you found one! -

Incredible Photographer!
Congratulations! You just found the boldest and most talented photographer around! Mariana surprised my husband and me with her passion and unique vision when capturing photos for our shoot. I’ve worked with other photographers before and none of them quite impressed us like Mariana did! She has an eye for details, ideas for poses, and keep the shoot natural and fun! She captures the REAL moments, the ones that you remember when you look back on the photos later on. All the love and all the laughter!
Mariana was creative and so passionate! You can trust that she doesn’t settle for just the ordinary. Her work stands out from all the rest and captures your eye. Mariana is so amazing to work with! Her style is so incredible and produces the most amazing photos. She is so talented and easy to work with. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable and special on our wedding day. She really has an incredible eye for detail. We could not be happier with how our wedding photos turned out! The photographer was my most important vendor to get right because when the rush of your wedding day is over all you have to look back on is your photos. Mariana went above and beyond anything we could have hoped for! -

So wonderful!
My husband and I did an in home cuddle photo shoot and wow was Mariana amazing! We shot at our home in downtown Portland on 10/27/2018 it was a rainy day and she captured all our special moments perfectly. She made it so easy for us to feel comfortable and just have fun! I would highly recommend her! Not to mention she even went out in the rain when I requested a couple outdoor pics! Such a fun time!! -

Kayleigh Sent on 10/01/2018Mariana was my photographer at my wedding on September 8th, 2018. Her photos she took of us look just like the ones on her website. She got us 30 sneak peak photos only 2-3 days after the wedding, so we could share them on facebook. She showed up on time, with an extra photographer for free, and stayed for the entire duration of the wedding. She was kind and professional and I am very happy I chose her. they were amazing pictures. And she only charged us $1620 total for photography and a photo album. I will go to her if I ever need pregnancy or family photos.

We hired Mariana for our small backyard wedding at the end of June. I was thrilled upon finding her that she responded quickly, and was available. She’s so talented, and I knew right away that her style of photography would fit our wedding perfectly.
She was always prompt, kind, easy going, and professional. She was willing to work out any special requests we had, and accommodate locations and timelines.
We loved our engagement photos, they were so fun to take and she got them to us SO quickly.
We ended up hiring her brother Michael to capture our wedding video, and we are so so happy we did.
They were both so fun to have at our wedding! I’ve been to weddings where photographers were loud, obnoxious, or sometimes rude and demanding. That would never be the case with Mariana or Michael. They were happy for us, kind to our families, and good at being apart of our day! I have to add that they are both gorgeous people who came so nicely dressed! 😊
When we got our photos back I was floored. Mariana was able to tell the story of our day so organically. Each photo was either genuine + candid or perfectly styled, and there was such a nice mix of both.
Our families our pretty picky about photos of themselves, but everyone was so happy with the photos they were in.
She had excellent style and it’s reflected not only in the photos she takes, but the packaging she uses and the extra mile she goes.
I know most everyone cherishes their wedding photos, but I seriously LOVE ours. I am so so glad I hired Mariana, and really hope/plan to work with her again.
