I cannot thank Tina enough for her work for my wedding. We hired Tina and Marigold as our decorator for our sangeet, wedding, and reception. I picked venues with a lot of character and built-in decor (we were in an atrium for the sangeet and a historic venue for the wedding and reception) so I wanted to really elevate the venues, rather than distract with busy decor. Tina didn't just deliver, she knocked it out of the park! When I walked into our wedding ceremony venue before the ceremony, I had actual tears of joy because Tina made my vision come to life in a way I couldn't have imagined. It was STUNNING. People have told us that they couldn't believe how beautiful our venues looked and that was all Tina. Truly, I would recommend her to anyone.
Tina knows what she's doing and if you have a general vision and share that with her, she will execute. One thing that I think speaks to Tina's character that I want to share - when I took her to our sangeet venue, she basically told me that there wasn't that much that she needed to do decor wise because the space was so strong in and of itself. I appreciated that she didn't want to upcharge us just because she could. She was honest and up front and she met our needs beautifully. My family has worked with Tina for two weddings now and we all really love her. I would call her for any and all future events in the Detroit area! -

We are really glad we found Tina to help us with the decor and selection of vendors for our son's wedding, celebrated in our house. Though it was small, intimate, just the immediate family type wedding, she worked diligently to meet expectations and on the day of the wedding, turned the area into a wonderland with the backdrop, flowers and candles !! Tina and her team helped plan my Wedding reception and did an amazing job! From the planning stages to execution, Tina demonstrated a high level of professionalism - she was organized, engaged and very thoughtful with her recommendations. She took immense care to make sure that our needs and wishes were met and that the event was a success. We received so many compliments from guests who loved the tasteful decor and had a wonderful time at our party. It wouldn’t have been possible without Tina & her team’s help. Tina was just wonderful to work from our first conversation, she took care of everything for my daughter’s wedding from decor to helping pick vendors. I would strongly recommend hiring her to do the day of coordinating, she was there to take care when something unexpected came up and handled it professionally. Without that help we would not have had the perfect day that we did. She went above and beyond to make the day perfect. -

Nitty is my wedding planner but she is more than just my wedding planner! She is my friend! She really listens to you and what you want! She understands you like your best friend. The whole team is so nice and they did their best to deliver your dream wedding! I am not an Indian girl but marrying an Indian family. I have no knowledge in any Indian wedding traditions. She has been so patient and she made a lot of efforts to make our hybrid magical and made everyone happy! She has very good aesthetics and I love everything for the wedding down to every single detail! Last but not least, the vendors she recommended are all amazing, top of the top! It might sound pricey but per my personal experience, they have every reason to set that price and you would actually think they are a good deal when you see the results! Trust me, go for it without any hesitation! Love them and miss them! -

Tina is very professional when it comes to her work. She and her team did my daughter’s wedding decorations!
Tina was very helpful to my daughter and her husband with all the events decorations. She has beautiful collection of Mandap and back drops. Thank you Tina and her team.

We were slated to get married in 2020, but had to postpone our wedding four times before it actually happened in Aug 2021! Tina was helping us plan since 2019, and helped us navigate all the unforeseen changes, change of dates, change of venue and much more across the two years. We could not have done it without her! She was instrumental in helping us get an outdoor space for our wedding ceremony despite some curveballs thrown our way from our venues. Furthermore, she and her team were very helpful in making sure everything went smoothly on the days of the events, making our lives much less stressful! Not only did she manage everything calmly, she took care of all the little things that we had discussed during the planning process. We couldn't be happier with the decor as well - from a festive sangeet to a dreamy reception, Tina helped bring our vision to life! We already miss working with Tina and would highly recommend Marigold Planners! -

There is much to consider when planning a wedding, but I am very thankful that I had Tina to work with from the start to end of my wedding. I say this with great confidence and pleasure that Tina gave me the wedding that I had always dreamt of. As my wedding planner Tina spent through time with me on a daily basis, she was deliberately keen on details, and most importantly Tina did and will go to great extent to make the bride happy. She will meet with you in person and spend time planning with you, she will personally drive and meet with you and the vendors, and she is very easy to reach via text or email.
I was very particular about the décor I had for each of my wedding events. I wanted to be unique and different from all the other weddings Tina has ever done. So different that I would send Tina multiple pictures of ideas I wanted to incorporate into my wedding. Despite being bombarded with pictures – Tina was patient and worked with me to get my vision on paper. She has a niche for creative ideas and knows what’s in and what’s not. She is good with colors and always adds her creative touch. At the end of the day she will deliver exactly what you want. For my wedding, I wanted a LOVE photo booth. I sent Tina a picture of the design - and she was very excited to build this. Her team spent months putting together a beautiful LOVE photo booth for my reception - which for one looked EXACTLY like the picture I sent her and two I could not tell you how many compliments I received on just the photo booth alone. It was something new and many of my guests enjoyed taking pictures behind the backdrop. Tina also has great recommendations for all wedding vendors and she will get you the best of the best.
As for the wedding décor – Tina and her entire team worked very hard putting together a very colorful sangeet stage and décor setup outdoors, a very detailed mandap full of real fresh florals, and a flawless reception stage. Pictures don’t do it justice! My guests were all in an AWE and the amount of compliments I received were endless. Many of our friends and family took notice of all the detailing that went into all the decoration and were truly impressed. It was a truly a beautiful wedding!
Tina also does a great job of coordinating the day of wedding events – she sticks to the timeline, makes sure everything gets done on time and correctly, she has great communication with all the vendors the day of, and she will help out anyway she can to make the wedding go smoothly and worry free for the bride and groom.
I was a very very happy bride. Roshan and I truly had a fairytale wedding! I genuinely want to thank Tina and her team for all their hard work and patience in making our wedding day so special. I would highly recommend Marigold Wedding Planners for both wedding planning and décor to any couple looking to have their own fairytale wedding!

Great partner
Tina and her crew are very responsive and recommend very good vendors. It was comforting to have a wedding planner to whom I could ask questions as I’ve never planned an Indian wedding before. Our event turned out great! I didn’t have to worry about moving things along on the day of the wedding as Tina’s team took care of all of that. My only recommendation is to clearly understand exactly what you’re getting from each vendor so there are no gaps in service. We chose Tina Singh to be our day of coordinator, decor, and wedding planner because of her competitive cost and no nonsense attitude. She was great at getting the job done and keeping the ball moving.
PLANNER- Her main role during our planning process was to review our vendor contracts and provide feedback or recommendations. She had a few vendor recommendations, but we ended up choosing vendors we/close contacts had history working with. I really appreciated the timeline template we collaborated on via google sheets- it served as a great tool to outline all our details and vendor information.
DECOR- Tina was a wonder at bringing my vision to life even though I kept changing my vision up until a week before the wedding. She worked with our decor budget, though she does seem to have a minimum cost she needs to hit per client. We did have a hard time communicating unique/out of the box ideas, but we ended up finding a solution using inspiration photos to help get on the same page. It helped that I was not very particular about my vision, though we were both unhappy with the vendor outsourced to drape the walls lining the hall.
DAY OF COORDINATOR- Her team coordinated our Sangeet, Wedding, Reception and all events went according to our timeline (some with time to spare)! Her team was great and very attentive to our needs and made sure we felt special all weekend. -
