Highly recommend Marina!

Marina is the best and we are so in love with our wedding gallery! We were so happy to have her for our June 2024 wedding at Zorvino Vineyards! We found her through their preferred vendors list and it was a huge benefit because Marina is so knowledgeable about Zorvino and friendly with their staff. We are so in love with all of our photos. She captured the perfect combo of portrait/posed photos and candids. We had our engagement shoot with Marina as well, and she gave us a few pointers that really elevated our photos (we’re not people who are usually comfortable in front of the camera!).

Elegant, romantic, colorful photos. Highly recommend

I am so happy we picked Marina and am forever thankful for the photographs she produced. Marina photographed our July 2023 wedding and welcome BBQ on the coast of Southern Maine during what has been historically one of the rainiest seasons yet. Despite our wedding day having torrential downpours and having to change the ceremony location the day of (and our whole photography timeline) our photographs came out AMAZING. Marina was quick to adjust to the new plan (which included only indoor photos for most of the day). The quality of the photos is outstanding. I absolutely LOVE them! Marina brings an elegant, classic, romantic, and soft approach to her photographs. She takes a mixture of classic poised photos as well as some candid shots. Marina’s personality is calming and professional. I would describe Marina’s photographic style as elegant and refined.

I knew what I was looking for – which is key to hiring the right photographer. For me – the biggest deciding factor was how the photographer edits in the post process stage. I wanted someone that does their own editing (not AI), uses just the right amount of grain to the photos (so I can blow them up and frame them) and someone that truly captures the day with a timeless approach (something that stands the test of time and isn’t following a trend). Marina met all these expectations flawlessly. I chose a plethora of pink, blue, peach, and lilac pastels for my bridal colors so I knew I needed to find someone that shoots photos with a true to life color (IE- no tinted hues). Marina captured my florals and bridal party perfectly. She edited certain pictures with a little more brightness. I love how those photos almost look ethereal. The pictures truly look like they belong in a magazine. When the rain finally stopped, Marina was quick to come delicately interrupt Tony and I to make sure that we were able to capture some outdoor shots by the ocean. These shots are some of our favorites.

Marina was responsive, tactful with asking if certain family members are OK in the same pictures, and an overall gentle and calming presence I was so happy to have by my side on my wedding day. When our Welcome BBQ got a bit out of hand – she was willing to go with the flow and got some great shots of our guests. Marina delivered all photos edited in both web format and large file format within a super-fast turnaround time! I would highly recommend going with Marina. Choose her for the full day – you won’t regret those early morning pictures with your bridesmaids. If you can, I recommend hiring her for the rehearsal dinner. It’s a great way to capture extended family portraits the day before so you can have a bit more freedom in your timeline the day of.

The Most Stunning Photos!

We loved working with Marina! From the moment I spoke with her on the phone about choosing a photographer I knew she was the one. She is personable and professional, and made us feel so comfortable while we had photos done! She captured every moment of our day at Zorvino Vineyards and was so much fun to work with. Her photos came back within DAYS which was amazing- looking back at our day while it was fresh in our minds was extremely special. We can't thank her enough for capturing our amazing wedding day!

Everything was excellent! All the pictures came out amazing and far beyond what we could have asked for. Marina really goes out of her way to make sure that she does the best job possible. Our wedding was probably not the easiest for her to shoot: it was one of the hottest days of summer, humid beyond imagination, and (as we later found out through friends) had a few impediments thrown before her that she dealt with grace and professionalism.

If you get Marina as a photographer (book her early!!!!!) you will have wedding pictures that are unique and stunning. She does not do generic pictures--she has an amazing range that captures the beauty of your day in ways you couldn't have imagined. Everyone that has seen them so far is absolutely blown away and thinks that they look like something you see in a magazine--just spectacular. And she is funny and so sweet to work with. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

Marina's approach to wedding photography is very laissez-faire. With minimal direction for "set" photographs (such as wedding parties and engagement sessions) she will guide the couple or group into the general direction in which she pictures the scene and then let you do your thing. Her guidance combined with the additional "hands-off" approach leads to some phenomenal moments that would otherwise never be captured on camera. It is a remarkable mix in which she orchestrates her filming.

Marina's customer service is excellent. We are friends with her on Facebook and communication has never been an issue. I'm truly proud to say that she is the one who did our wedding photos.

Photography has been a background for members of my family, and we can all honestly say that we are thoroughly impressed with all aspects of Marina's work. We really can't recommend her highly enough. You won't go wrong if you choose Marina Zinovyeva for your wedding photographer.

Marina was simply AMAZING at our wedding. Throughout the chaos she kept a smile on her face, directed us where to go, helped me with my dress, kept my dogs off me and the maids, didn't seam stressed - which helped with my stress, and waited for me at my house for over an hour while we were late at the salon...she was silly and professional at the same time. She got great shots because our chemistry was wonderful! She did more than your average photographer by helping me through the ceremony and with all the rush. I would recommend Marina to ANY bride - she is a PERFECT choice AND nicely priced :)

Stunning photos!

Marina's work is absolutely stunning. She photographed my sister's wedding in 2015 and it was an easy decision to hire her for my wedding this year. She is a true professional and her talent really shines through her pictures. Marina was always responsive and extremely flexible when we had to reschedule our wedding three times due to covid! Marina is amazing! Her work is incredible and we were wowed by the photographs from our day. She was incredibly responsive and had our photographs to us much sooner than we expected. Marina took such incredible care of us on our big day. From keeping our timeline on schedule, to keeping pushy relatives in line, to taking my veil off at the end of the night, she ensured we never had to worry. Marina Zinovyeva Photography was amazing we had Marina for our wedding photographer on 5/19 and also did the photo booth with her. Marina was amazing with helping us get every photo we wanted and keeping everyone on track. I've received several compliments from wedding guests on how great she was with taking different photos of everyone and everything. The photo booth was a huge hit especially with the kids at the wedding. At the end of the night they provide you with a photo book of all the photos taken during the wedding which is a great keepsake and fun to look at. I would strongly recommend anyone looking for an amazing wedding photographer to contact Marina.

Marina did such a great job with our wedding photography that people are still complimenting me on our pictures almost 4 months later. Marina had photographed a friend's wedding that was something out of a magazine, so my initial thoughts were that there was no possible way we could afford her, but I decided to check her out anyway. I was shocked to find out that her prices were actually the most affordable out of any other photographer I had viewed in our area! Marina showed up to do the "getting ready" pictures at the hotel right on time, and I found out that she had even been to our wedding venue beforehand to scope out some good spots....

Marina did such a great job with our wedding photography that people are still complimenting me on our pictures almost 4 months later. Marina had photographed a friend's wedding that was something out of a magazine, so my initial thoughts were that there was no possible way we could afford her, but I decided to check her out anyway. I was shocked to find out that her prices were actually the most affordable out of any other photographer I had viewed in our area! Marina showed up to do the "getting ready" pictures at the hotel right on time, and I found out that she had even been to our wedding venue beforehand to scope out some good spots. She also arrived at the venue before me and the bridal party to take some pictures of my husband and his groomsmen and family. Marina took SO MANY pictures of our wedding ceremony from so many angles that you would never believe we only had one photographer, and somehow I never even noticed her. She was so stealthy but so creative in her shots -- one of my favorite pictures from the entire wedding is actually a picture of our dog, the "ring bearer," that she managed to snag as he walked down the aisle. When it came to take pictures of the bridal party and our families after the ceremony, Marina got so many shots but was so efficient. Marina then drove us to a separate part of our venue (we were on a farm) to take pictures in front of a beautiful red barn and in front of some horses. She managed to get a picture of us kissing in front of the two horses "kissing." Marina got every shot I had requested (including some breathtaking shots of my husband's face when I came down the aisle) and she was even way more helpful than the venue staff at moving things along during the reception and timing up all of our events (cake cutting, speeches, etc.). Marina sent us HUNDREDS of pictures and a beautiful box with a flash drive and some prints / a keychain. I could not possibly recommend Marina more! If you book her, you are one lucky bride.

Marina is wonderful! From the moment I viewed a wedding album, she had done, at my venue I knew I had to have her as my wedding photographer! She has such a creative eye, exactly what I wanted. Right from the beginning Marina was very easy to work with, this was especially important since we were planning our wedding long distance. She was able to put my worries at ease. Professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail are some of the many great qualities of Marina. I couldn't imagine having any other person to photograph such an important day and share in my most personal moments. Ethan and I chose Marina to photograph our wedding and we could not be happier with our decision. From the beginning, she told us what we could expect from her and on our wedding day she exceeded our expectations. She was available to answer any questions we had along the way, and she put our minds at ease when addressing any concerns we had. A bridal party of 20 people was no challenge for her, in fact, she embraced it!

Marina and her assistant were there ready to go when we arrived at the venue on our wedding day. She has some great ideas of poses and scenic areas and she managed a large bridal party without a problem. She and her assistant captured every angle; they even used the balcony at the venue to capture full views of the ceremony. We took advantage of the photo booth that she offers, and we highly recommend it. She sets up the backdrop and brings props, the guests have a blast, they can take the silly photos with them, and we have a whole album of fun photos of our guests! Marina and her assistant worked very well with each other as well as with other vendors; they managed to work the photo booth and the dance floor at the same time with great success. She captured so many special moments without us even knowing where she was! That is the sign of a truly talented photographer - completely unnoticeable, yet right in the middle of everything!

We highly recommend Marina to anyone looking for a great wedding photographer - she was a delight to work with and she provided great quality pictures of some of the best moments of our lives.

Marina's work is absolutely amazing. She shot my wedding photos in July 2015 and everyone has told me they look like they should be in a magazine (and I agree!). She is so incredibly talented - she listens closely to what you want, gives good direction, and will go to great lengths to capture a shot! I was stressed beyond words and as soon as Marina arrived, she took over and organized everything and everyone and my stress level quickly dropped. In fact, when one of the bridesmaids forgot her necklace, Marina immediately took off her own necklace and let her wear it all day so she matched everyone else! We were also under some time constraints and despite that, everything flowed so smoothly and without any issues. From the start, Marina worked with us in a most professional manner to make sure all requests were met for documenting our wedding day. We also took advantage of the fact she now offers a videography service! The day itself was absolutely wonderful, she made it a point to know the wedding party by name, and everyone felt comfortable with her. In fact, a lot of people stated they were impressed by how professional and fun she was. Also, our pictures look great! I would recommend Marina a hundred times over. Worth every penny!
