  We cannot recommend more highly the Mariposa Quartet

  Our event was in our home and was a celebration of my and my husband's 80th birthdays. Our daughter learned of the quartet and planned with Tanya over a period of months. It was absolutely wonderful, touching, and truly special. The best gift ever.

  Beautiful music

  We hired them for the music for our daughter's wedding outdoors in the wind. They coped well with the difficult conditions, moved quickly from ceremony to cocktail hour sites, and were very helpful in providing the music she wanted for her wedding. Very professional.

  Excellence in String Music

  I can’t say enough about Mariposa String Quartet! Tanya and her group exhibited professionalism, excellence, beauty of sound, and flexibility on my wedding day! She and her other musicians went above and beyond to add a classical elegance, that truly added to our memories of our big day! I would highly recommend Mariposa String quartet for any event, especially a wedding. Thank you Tanya for being available to chat, text, and email during my planning, to ease my mind, and for reaching my vision! ❤️

  Played Beautifully!

  My husband and I were so happy to have Tanya and Grace play as a duo at our very intimate wedding of 8 guests. Tanya played the viola and Grace played the violin, and they sounded beautiful together. Prior to the event, Tanya was very responsive via emails and texts, helped us organize our playlist, and was open to learning two new songs we had requested. When our ceremony ran a few minutes late, they both knew how to adjust accordingly and I was super thankful for that. When their time ended, Tanya made a sweet comment to my family about how beautiful our intimate wedding was. I would definitely recommend them both, they were so kind, professional, and made our day feel magical.

  They were all extremely amazing on time and super professional! Tanya gave me a quick response at all times of the day ! Amazing music and team ! Would recommend 10/10 and would hire again !

  We knew we wanted a more classical to classical pop feel for the music during our ceremony and cocktail hour, and Mariposa String Quartet delivered just that. This string quartet has a rich sound, and they were so professional. Tanya was extremely responsive during the planning process, and she would also provide suggestions based on the feel we were looking for. What also drew us to them was their wide music repertoire that goes beyond the music listed on their website. We and our guests were so very impressed by their sound and the selection of music that was played during the cocktail hour! We also had a specific, new song request for the bridal processional and they did such an excellent job with the new piece. If a string quartet is what you are looking for, look no further than Mariposa.

  Music from heaven!

  These ladies killed it! They were great communicators leading up to the big day, and were totally flexible on the actual wedding day. I cannot wait to use them again for a special event. We HIGHLY recommend them
