  Martha nailed my floral design!

  I tasked Martha with a neutral fall color palette and specific ideas for the bloom design we wanted on the trellis, then left the execution completely up to her. We were pleasantly blown away by the quality of our flowers and how beautifully they complemented our wedding party, the venue, and the backdrop! We had exchanged several emails and only spoke on the phone twice, and I was so impressed with how she turned my vision into such stunning results. Thank you, Martha!!

  Creative Excellence

  Martha made my wedding floral dreams come true! We knew she would be awesome after our first few conversations, so we also hired her to do our rehearsal dinner/welcome party arrangements, too. For the rehearsal dinner/welcome party, she took my mother in law's inspiration and perfectly executed. For the wedding, I really wanted floral columns that I had found on Pinterest. Martha loved the idea, supported my creativity, and made them even better than I could have imagined. Our floral garlands, bouquets, and extra arrangements all matched our theme and were stunning. I would recommend Martha to any future bride or event planner, you'll be amazed at her work!

  It was a true pleasure to work with Martha as our wedding Florist. After meeting with her to share our vision, I felt extremely comfortable with her ability, experience, and style. The floral arrangements, headpiece, boutonnieres were more beautiful than I could ever imagine.

  If you are having a wedding in Truckee I wouldn't think twice about booking Martha for your wedding. She creates beautiful lush flower arrangements. I told her about our vision and she was able to capture it and beyond. She is very busy, but is great and letting you know when she would be in touch about things. I talked to Martha far in advanced to the wedding about my flowers, and finalized them about two weeks before. She is super creative - we came up with a hanging wreath of candles, greenery and dreamy white flowers above the bridal table, this idea also came into play into the entrance of the dining area, and above the guest book table, so romantic! I couldn't get enough of our wedding flowers.

  Book Martha. No, seriously, stop reading and do it now. I don't care what flowers you need, she's got your back and then some. We hired Martha to do the flowers for our destination Truckee wedding and all that entailed. In total she provided flower arrangements for the dress rehearsal dinner (4 tables with 2 different themes), cocktail hour (about 6 high tops), every miscellaneous table in the reception tent (cake, bar, sign in, etc), flower petals for the aisles, flower petals for the flower girls, the ceremony arbor, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 3 parental boutonnières, and boutonnières for the groom and 4 groomsmen.
  
  She is an absolute dream to work with. Similar to what one of the other posters mentioned, it was a little difficult to make initial contact. However, I was warned ahead of time that she's really busy during wedding season. Most flowers are not ordered until about 10 days prior to your wedding. Her job includes some initial up-front prep, confirming a couple times (brides are accustomed to change their minds), then a mad crazy rush to the "finish line." She has a separate workshop from her office and might not hear the phone ring. Leave a message via email and be patient. She is definitely worth the wait. When I reviewed my vendor list with my venue and I mentioned Martha was my florist, the catering manager was visibly relieved and stated that she is the best florist in Tahoe and I was going to be well taken care of. (She does more than weddings but like I said, she's the best and has a busy schedule.) He didn't lie.
  
  When we met over the phone we discussed everything I knew I wanted 7 months prior: color schemes, flowers I liked, etc. I sent her a link to my Pinterest boards and then selected some of the favorites to narrow it down. With minimal direction from me (I like pretty flowers but I am definitely NOT a florist), she surpassed every expectation and dream I never knew I had.

  Martha did our flowers for our July wedding and we couldn't have envisioned them being more beautiful. We were able to send her pictures and add her on pinterest to be clear on what we wanted and they were perfect. She was easy to work with and accommodating when certain numbers changed throughout the process. They were literally a dream and exactly what we wanted.

  Martha is such a talented woman! My husband and I were married at the West Shore Café on June 12th 2015 and we hired Martha to do all our florals. We couldn’t be happier with the results!
  
  My husband and I live in Texas but knew we wanted to get married in Lake Tahoe – Martha came as a recommendation from our wedding planners and we are forever grateful to them for introducing us! Martha and I met in person a few months before the wedding when my husband and I were in in Tahoe doing some final planning sessions with our wedding planners and it was such a great meeting. Martha really listened to what I had as a floral vision and stuck to my (not so huge) floral budget! We made all the floral decisions that day and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Martha has such a creative eye for floral design and you will NOT be disappointed if you hire her to help outfit your wedding day with beautiful arrangements!

We had a fairly clear idea of what we wanted for our flowers, and Martha executed our vision perfectly! She also had great recommendations and was even able to get peonies at the end of the season -- I desperately wanted peonies to be in the arrangements and she made it happen! I never once worried about how our flowers would turn out as Martha is extraordinarily talented.

  Our son was married on June 7 at Tahoe Donner, which was a destination wedding, so everything had to be handled long distance.   Martha was very responsive to my ever changing mind. Through all of the changes that were made along the way. She delivered exactly what I was hoping for. With the weather being much warmer than usual this past winter, peonies were not very plentiful. And somehow, she managed to deliver the peonies that I had dreamed of. From the bouquets, to the centerpieces, and most especially the flowers for my mother's remembrance. It was perfect. I highly recommend Martha, she is professional and responsive. Thank You Martha for the flowers, and being part of our day.

  Working with Martha on our wedding day flowers was a pleasure- and her arrangements and creative touches made our wedding day as beautiful as I could have ever imagined. Even as a clueless bride, Martha helped me figure out what I wanted and made it a reality!
  Martha was my first wedding consultation, after we chose Granlibakken as our venue. She helped guide me through the planning process, and I realized how integral flowers are to setting the tone for the day. She was attentive, generous with her time, and flexible when we had last minute additions. She made sure my decorating needs were met, and she went above and beyond to come up with some creative ideas for my bridesmaids and groomsmen.
  I couldn't recommend her more for a Granlibakken wedding, a Tahoe wedding, or any other event where you need flowers!

  Grace had a vision for her wedding and you brought it to life. From the flowers on the chuppah to the bouquets in the ballroom, everything was exquisite. We loved the mix of containers and candles on the tables. You were right, as soon as the sun set, the room glowed with candlelight. The lighted aspens were the perfect touch to draw your eye away from the ballroom walls. Grace's bouquet was absolutely stunning and the flowers for her hair were just right. I'll send you photos when we get them from the photographer. Please thank your staff as well! The flowers for the BBQ also were just right. Your hard work is much appreciated. Many thanks

  After researching and interviewing several florists for our winter Ritz Carlton wedding, Martha was by far the most innovative and flexible. At only 1 month left before the wedding, she was ready and willing to do whatever we requested (unlike some of the other florists). Her pricing was very reasonable and she asked all the questions needed of us and our other vendors to ensure that she not only created exactly what we hoped for, but made sure she got it at the best price. Our centerpieces involved her researching and ordering custom cut glass, our cocktail tables involved researching and finding real looking fake snow, and our floral arrangements involved working with the (apparently) extremely difficult shamrock that other florists wouldn't go near. Martha did it all with honesty about her concerns but willing to try whatever for us. And above all, everything turned out BEAUTIFULLY. She was a joy to work with and I would definitely recommend her to anyone and would love to use her again one day!
  
  PS It snowed heavily around our wedding date and Martha didn't falter in getting all of the supplies and flowers on time and up the steep hill to the Ritz without complaint!

  Martha is the best! I have been a floral designer and did not want the pressure of doing my own daughter's wedding. Working with Martha was so easy. She is creative, listened to our requests, and experimented with ideas. Her follow through was wonderful. In one long weekend she did 6 centerpieces for a bridesmaids luncheon on Thursday. Friday the rehearsal dinner had 14 large centerpieces plus smaller arrangements for the bathrooms and bar. Saturday there was groomsman's lunch. She also decorated a lodge for cocktails. For the wedding, she did the aisle decorations, the alter, 8 bridesmaids and the brides bouquet......hair decorations for the bride and maid of honor, 11 boutonnieres plus 26 tables which each had 3 centerpieces per table (that was over 68 arrangments) along with decorating the bride's cake, the grooms cake table and the escort card table....... Sunday, there was a send off brunch which had a large arrangement on the buffet table. She and her staff worked very hard and made the whole process so enjoyable! She gets an A+. Book her now!

Friday the rehearsal dinner had 14 large centerpieces plus smaller arrangements for the bathrooms and bar. Saturday there was groomsman's lunch. She also decorated a lodge for cocktails. For the wedding, she did the aisle decorations, the alter, 8 bridesmaids and the brides bouquet......hair decorations for the bride and maid of honor, 11 boutonnieres plus 26 tables which each had 3 centerpieces per table (that was over 68 arrangments) along with decorating the bride's cake, the grooms cake table and the escort card table....... Sunday, there was a send off brunch which had a large arrangement on the buffet table. She and her staff worked very hard and made the whole process so enjoyable! She gets an A+. Book her now!

  Martha did the flowers for my recent wedding and I could not have been happier with how they turned out. With limited direction (just a couple of pinterest pics) she somehow delivered the most perfect bouquets, centerpieces, and flower crowns.   Like a Fairytale

  I am not a flowers person, so to say that I had a pre-existing vision of what I wanted my wedding flowers to look like is an exaggeration. We found Martha due to her high online reviews, as well as through a referral from one of our venue's preferred florists (who was herself unavailable). When discussing what we were looking for via e-mail, I provided Martha a singular blog post of someone else's wedding to use as inspiration. She confirmed that she would be able to do it so we signed immediately.
  
  Communication lapsed after booking as there wasn't much to to be done in the months leading up to the big day. At a few weeks out, we were starting to get a little nervous until she arranged a call to go over the details. She was very responsive to our special requests and continuously checked in with us to see if there was anything else we'd like to highlight. It seemed that the original inspiration post was sufficient for her to understand our vision so we simply needed to supply our updated counts of guest tables, bouquets, etc.
  
  On our wedding day, I was floored by the flowers and arrangements that Martha provided. Everything looked perfect - the pale blush blooms matched our wedding colors exactly and the lush greenery fit right into our romantic wedding theme. My bouquet was full and in the cascading style that I requested. Our sweetheart table was adored with a beautiful garland and she was able to move our ceremony arch to the reception venue so that we could enjoy those flowers for longer.
  
  I'm not well-versed in the language of flowers, but Martha was able to create what I didn't even know I wanted! Numerous guests complimented our wedding flowers and we could not be happier with her work. If you are looking for a florist in the Tahoe area, we'd highly recommend that you place your trust in her!

  The flower arrangements for myself and the bridesmaids came out beautifully. The design and style was perfect and exactly what I wanted.
  
  The centerpieces and flowers for the ceremony were a bit skimp for what I paid though. While they were still very pretty, they just didn't fill the table and the isles and arch as much as I would have liked. I think the flowers were pretty expensive and for the price, I wish the centerpieces and arch was a bit more lush.
