  Incredible photos, incredible human!

  I can honestly say that I cannot imagine my wedding day without Martina as our photographer. I found her through searching online for photographers that specialized in smaller, elopement style weddings and loved that she had shot at the location that we were planning our intimate ceremony in - Point Dume in Malibu. She absolutely blew our expectations away. Our final photos so perfectly captured us as a couple and the feeling of the day - the intimacy, the radiating love, pure joy, and the beauty of the surrounding nature. I loved how she shot a mix of digital and film which really delivered on the dreamy, intimate look we were after. My husband and I had never done a professional photography session before and were worried that we'd feel awkward or that the feeling of posing for photos may interrupt the intimate nature of the ceremony that we'd planned. However Martina and her husband (who was assisting) made us feel so incredibly at ease and as if we were just hanging out with old friends taking pictures. She gave great posing cues and location ideas and made us feel so comfortable. She was also incredibly flexible and remained positive throughout even with us having to push back our ceremony timing and a few people in our party running late. We also had very windy conditions, but she was able to work her magic and shoot around the wind and ended up using the wind to get some really fun shots. I can't recommend Martina enough!!

  Blown away!

  Martina is amazing! She captured our wedding perfectly and we can’t stop looking at our pictures! All our family and friends were blown away! She’s also so kind and just knows what she’s doing, exceeded our expectations!

  Best wedding photographer experience I could have asked for!

  I have nothing but great things to say about working with Martina, she exceeded my expectations by far and we couldn’t be happier with the photos she took. I have received so many compliments on our elopement photos and it is simply because her photography style is just so unique- her photos really stand out from the rest! Her photography style truly captured the essence of our relationship: candid, genuine, and fun-loving! She was also so helpful and easygoing, it made me feel really relaxed as I feared how awkward I would be in front of the camera. She is incredibly talented and knows exactly how to capture the raw, candid emotion in every photo. I am forever grateful I found her website, I 10000% recommend her!!

  We loved Martina - highly recommend for your own wedding!

  Martina was our photographer for our elopement in Santa Barbara in Sept 2020, after COVID required us to postpone our bigger event until 2021. Her website and portfolio are stunning, which made us so excited to work with her and gave us immediate trust in her expertise and creativity.   Couldn't have chosen a better photographer!

  I ran into Martina's work through Instagram/Google. When I saw her work, I immediately knew I wanted her to take photos of my (now) fiance and I to hang around the house and post on our wedding website.
  
  Martina was a total sweetheart and was so bubbly! We felt so comfortable playing around and enjoying the scenery while she captured the moments. We also got the photos back within 24 hours and I thought it was amazing how fast that was :)
  
  We're inlove with Martina's work and we're particularly swooning over our photos from her. I wish I lived in San Diego/ CA and have her take photos regularly! ;)

  Incredible Photographer, Perfect Experience!

  I found Martina when I was looking for an elopement photographer in San Diego. I had never been to San Diego, so it was incredibly helpful to have her knowledge and help with picking a spot to get married in Balboa Park.
  
  I have never been a photogenic person, and so I worried that I wouldn’t feel beautiful in my photos or that I wouldn’t like them at all. From the getting ready photos to the last photo she took, I felt completely comfortable, happy and beautiful in front of the camera. She is really great at capturing all of the special moments that I otherwise wouldn’t have gotten to see.
  
  There were a lot of spots I wanted to take photos in Balboa Park, and Martina made it happen!
  
  I absolutely love all of our photos! I love all of the candid moments, the style, seriously everything! I would definitely use Martina again, and recommend her for anyone and everyone looking for a great photographer.

  Made our elopement feel so special

  Both my husband and I were so blown away by the photos and moments Martina captured. She made our elopement feel so special. I appreciate her attention to detail and how she made us feel at ease during the photos. Martina took some truly stunning pictures that we will treasure for the rest of our life!
  
  She had excellent communication leading up to our date, arrive early at the location, and made sure to capture the specific moments we requested.
  
  We would highly recommend Martina as a wedding photographer, especially if you are eloping!

  We found Martina while looking at photos of other weddings at our selected venue, The Los Angeles Arboretum and Botanic Garden. I'm so glad we did!
  
  What immediately stood out was her candid style, which is perfect for my husband and I. I'm a photography enthusiast, and have always worried about finding a wedding photographer that would capture "natural" shots. I'm not a fan of saccharine Pinterest wedding fluff like colorful smoke bombs, "Mr. and Mrs." props, etc. Martina is a purist like us!
  
  She arrived at the venue hours before the wedding so we could take posed shots of just the groom and myself in various areas. It was sweltering that day, over 90 degrees, but Martina kept her cool and was very patient with us. She kept her patience even while shuffling 20+ family members for group photos - never an easy task with a big family!
  
  She did a wonderful job capturing details beyond typical wedding documentation too. She excels at documentary-style photography, and is really gifted at picking up on what the bride and groom are passionate about.
  
  Once the wedding reception was underway, I lost track of Martina entirely save for the occasional flash bulb. I've been to weddings where the photographer is in the background of every guest photo, lurking and intruding on guests. Martina was the total opposite - she captured all the important shots but never once blocked anyone's view! I truly don't know how she did it. I can say with assurance that she did the work of 2 people all by herself.
  
  Also, it can be hard to navigate the digital wedding photography thing (how do i get prints? An album?) but her process is very comprehensive.
  
  I loved her work before she was hired, and our photos came out even better than expected. I highly recommend Martina for your next important life event!

  Martina photographed both my wedding day and Central Park gathering for our guests. Ours was more of an international wedding so there were going to be a lot of people from all over the world and we wanted to make sure we captured everything perfectly. I am a huge stickler for responsive vendors, and Martina was exceptional. I had over 1000 questions for her and she handled everything patiently and with as much information as possible. Her work is out of this world – it’s only a matter of time she’ll be discovered by the media. Her specialty is candid moments and there are so many pictures she took that I want to print out.
  
  I also recommended her to a friend for her engagement photos and they came out beautifully!

  Martina covered my Indian wedding from Dec 26th-Dec29th 2013 in Dallas, TX. This wedding was definitely something that was out of her comfort zone and she handled it like the pro she is. Through the duration of the four days she covered, she was extremely flexible with the timings that the events started with, she asked all the right questions when it came to the ceremonies and what she needed to pay more attention to, and she wasn't afraid of warming up to our friends and family. Martina so kindly brought an assistant to help her capture every moment at no charge to us. She delivered the pictures less than a month after the wedding happened, which was extremely surprising to us because there has to be more than 2000 photos. Her work speaks for itself though. I couldn't be happier with the decision we made as Martina as our photographer. The pictures are just incredible. I definitely recommend her to any and everyone.

  We met Martina when she did engagement photos for us in NYC. We loved her and the photos so much that we asked her to do our wedding in Newport, RI and our reception on the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie, NY. My family even surprised me and hired her for me bridal shower. She is great to work with and her photos are beautiful! She responds quickly to e-mails, phone calls and texts. For each event that she photographed for us we received the photos within 2 weeks, usually days after the event.
  
  Martina is so nice, professional, and flexible. We were actually sad to say goodbye after our wedding because she was so wonderful to work with.

  We spent a fabulous sunny spring day with Martina wandering around New York City. She was completely open to all of our weird photo ideas and was totally game for starting in Bushwick and ending in Central Park. She was also very quick to get the finished shots to us, all of which we loved!

  Martina came over to Hoboken on a cold morning and took pictures of us for 2 hours! We absolutely loved them, her and the entire experience. When we put them on Facebook we had about 100 (no lie!) people complementing them. She made us look good :)

  Micko Photo shot our engagement photos. I had specific looks picked out and she was so sweet and compliant. She captured exactly what I wanted and the pictures came back super quick! I would absolutely recommend Micko Photo!

  Where can I start about how spectacular she is without leaving any details.. Our wedding was on a gorgeous sunday in september of 2015 My husband I were extremely excited to have had Maritna shoot our wedding as we put a lot of time and work towards our wedding day, from the aisle which my husband decorate all himself to the table numbers which we made together in addition to many more things that had a lot meaning to us. Martina captured everything in such beautiful way that I fall in love all over again when I looked at our photos!! In the midts of craziness she was able to captured candid moments, moments that won't be lost in time.
  
  When I first spoke with Martina I made sure I did my homework and as a result I had a million and one questions, which she patienly answered. I looked at all her work and read all her reviews and found that she was exactly what I was looking for. She was so detail oriented, she captured moments so amazinlgy that I felt the exciment building up, so my fiance and I decided we would do engagement too, and we couldn't have made a better decision as a result of that our guest complemented us on how unique our invitations were as we decided to ditch the traditional $$$ and make them ourselves. Anyways I can't tell how many photos I have that makes it almost impossible to pick the ones for our album since they are all gorgeous.
  
  Martina is so gifted in the way she captures things and how elegantly she photographs that I will not use anyone else in the future
