  Mary did a wonderful job documenting every aspect of this fabulous day, from beginning to end. Candid photos, formal photos, color and B&W -- all were beautifully done. The wedding was outside in a mountain and river setting. The scenery was beautifully highlighted and incorporated into the photos. Mary has a great eye for detail - she captured the essence of the day perfectly.

  Stunning photos that capture the emotional high of the day each time we look at them. Mary is a real "Wedding Photojournalist," not just a wedding photographer!!! Spontaneous interactions stirring with emotion between the brides, guests, and the natural surroundings were captured beautifully! Our pre-wedding meeting with Mary at the site of the wedding made us feel so at ease and confident. Mary is a true professional that takes her craft seriously and wants to get to know you enough to make you feel natural and confident.   Mary is amazing

  Mary was so sweet and so fun to work with! She is very professional and very knowledgeable. I love her eye for things and how she captures special moments. She is very detail oriented. She was laid back me and my fiancé /husband had so much fun with her and felt very comfortable around her. I would highly recommend her to anyone not just someone looking for a wedding photographer. She flew in town for our engagement pictures and also for our wedding. At first when I told my fiancé at the time/husband now that I had found someone I wanted to use because I liked her style of how she took photos. I loved the way she captured things. When I told him she wasn't local I could kinda tell he thought I was crazy because there are sooo many local photographers. But let me tell you Mary was worth every penny and I would give her even more! I am so thankful she took time away from her family to come capture my wedding. She in incredible at what she does!! 5 stars doesn't do her justice. Thank you so much Mary for your time and for your amazing abilities at taking photos!!! xoxo

  We absolutely loved working with Mary for our wedding! We chose her as our photographer because we loved her style - it's real, and beautiful, and so much more interesting than the cookie-cutter wedding photography out there. We're so glad we did - she was an absolute professional, she was flexible when our venue changed at the last minute (!!), which resulted in scheduling changes too. And she was so lovely and easy to work with. But as if that wasn't enough, the pictures were GORGEOUS! She captured our wedding beautifully, and in a style that absolutely fit us. Mary is wonderful, and she has our highest recommendation.

  Mary was wonderful and super responsive, we ended up changing things a number of times as we reached our wedding day and she was able to accommodate us. The pictures turned out beautifully!

  Our time with Mary was so precious. She was so easy going and professional in the same time. She captured the best moment when I proposed to my fiancé in Italy and we are so happy with our photos. She's a true artist. We can't wait for her to photograph our wedding as well.

  Mary was the most wonderful photographer a bride and groom could ask for! We chose her because her pictures seemed to tell a story of emotions, candid moments and memories for life, and we were not disappointed. Mary documented our two day Pakistani-Bengali-American wedding festivities - the profile picture on this site is from our Henna day - with patience, flexibility, and with a beautiful and unique vision. And there was so much to capture - the wonderful decor on both days, the guests' henna patterns, the choreographed dance my friends organized, stealing the groom's shoes and the ransom negotiations (!), the laughs and tears all weekend, the way the groom held my hand throughout the ceremony and prayers as I was overwhelmed with emotion, the wonderful winter lights at the venue.... I could go on and on!
  
  She met with us a few times before the wedding to get to know us better and made us feel completely at ease. She even talked me out of a wedding makeup trial meltdown one day :) and was always available via email, phone, and text. We were bowled over by Mary's artistry and warmth, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our photography sessions... even my husband, who is notorious for not smiling and generally looking woebegone in pictures! He was so comfortable with Mary, he kept grumbling under his breath about the other photographer for our out of state post-wedding reception and lamenting Mary's absence! Our wedding pictures came out so beautiful - the way Mary captured the joy, emotions, and beauty of both day cannot be described in words.
  
  My husband and I are extremely grateful to Mary for being part of our wedding and documenting it in such beautiful, elegant, and meaningful ways, and hope to have her be part of our future milestones as well. Thank you so much, Mary!

  I don't even know where to begin. Mary was wonderful from when we first spoke via skype up until our wedding. She was very patient with all of our questions and extremely responsive to our emails. When we had our engagement session, she really made us feel comfortable- which in turn produced some beautiful pictures. On the day of the wedding, she and her team were on time and knew exactly what to do when it came to taking those picture perfect shots. We ended up taking our portraits at the Jefferson Memorial and it was FREEZING that day! I was afraid that our faces would show that in the pictures but once we received them, she had given us some beautiful shots that will have to be framed! I'm so happy we ended up choosing Mary and will definitely look to her for any future portraits or photo sessions.

  Mary was so responsive and really open to our requests for what we envisioned for our engagement photos. We had our session on a cold November morning and brought our rambunctious dog along, which she was totally cool with! Our photos were ready when promised and turned out great. We've gotten many compliments.

  I cannot possibly say enough good things about Mary. She is a true artist and absolutely wonderful to work with. I was really worried about how our engagement and wedding would photograph. We had a very small budget for our wedding and I am not a natural in front of the camera and can sometimes have panic attacks when being photographed. Mary put me totally at ease. By the end of the engagement session I was laughing and having a great time. The wedding was similarly wonderful. We only had 15 minutes for couples photos and it was grey and drizzly. Somehow she took the most beautiful photos of the whole wedding with terrible weather and light. If you love the look of a beautiful romantic vintage photo and you want to hire a true artist and professional, definitely hire Mary. You will have no regrets and hundreds of exquisite photos to remember that special day.

  Mary was an amazing photographer for our November 2015, and I would recommend her to anyone! Photography was definitely a huge priority for our wedding, given it's one of the few tangible things you'll have after the day is over. I spent a long time looking, and met with a number of photographers in the area. At the same time, we were also on a budget, so while I was willing to spend a greater percentage of our overall budget on photography than most, we were still very mindful of cost. Mary was the perfect fit. She has a beautiful style, but at a price that's very reasonable for this area. Not to mention, she's so pleasant to work with and really puts you at ease. My fiance is not a huge fan of pictures, but has a great smile, and Mary got him to relax during our engagement photos and wedding day so that we walked away with so many great photos of us and our wedding party. She was also very flexible and changed the date of our engagement photos last minute when our original date predicted rain. I am so thrilled with all of our photos and will definitely book Mary again for future photo needs!

  Mary is AMAZING! She was very flexible as to how to use the time allotted in the contract: instead of engagement photos, we had Mary take photos at the rehearsal dinner and reception we had the night before the wedding. These photos were such a hit that we have multiple friends and family using the photos she took for their Christmas cards.
  
  I am not a photogenic person, and did not have a great idea as to what I wanted the day off, but Mary's vision turned out to be better than anything I could have imagined. She took gorgeous photos at every stage--getting ready, at a park with my sisters, at the church, during the ceremony, portraits with my now-husband, and during the reception. She sent me the photos incredibly quickly, and they blew me away! It's the perfect mix of classic poses my parents and family want to have, and quirky, impromptu shots that reflect who we are. Mary should charge way more than what I paid, the photos were worth twice what we paid!

She was very flexible as to how to use the time allotted in the contract: instead of engagement photos, we had Mary take photos at the rehearsal dinner and reception we had the night before the wedding. These photos were such a hit that we have multiple friends and family using the photos she took for their Christmas cards.
  
  I am not a photogenic person, and did not have a great idea as to what I wanted the day off, but Mary's vision turned out to be better than anything I could have imagined. She took gorgeous photos at every stage--getting ready, at a park with my sisters, at the church, during the ceremony, portraits with my now-husband, and during the reception. She sent me the photos incredibly quickly, and they blew me away! It's the perfect mix of classic poses my parents and family want to have, and quirky, impromptu shots that reflect who we are. Mary should charge way more than what I paid, the photos were worth twice what we paid!

Not to mention her turnaround time is amazing - we received our wedding photos just two weeks after our wedding! And there isn't a bad photo among the bunch.   Working with Mary on our engagement session in Romania was such a great experience. Not only we were so happy with how the photos turned out but also for the way she made us feel for those two ours. It was a truly photography experience, we'll always remember that day spent with her and with each other. We can't wait to have her back to photograph our wedding in Italy.

  Mary did a fantastic job for our wedding this summer! The portrait photos were exceptionally well done – she really has an eye for framing and using the environment in her compositions. From our first communication she worked with us to get a sense of our personalities and what we hoped to capture. The engagement photo session was also a lot of fun and she captured some great moments. We're both very happy with the way Mary captured our wedding. Great memories! She was an excellent communicator throughout the process. Really focused on details, even down to the charming packaging of the final USB. We are definitely recommending to Mary to our friends!

Needless to say, the calm and affirming pre-shoot Mary was constant throughout the whole day of shooting-- even though it was cold, crowded, and a race against the sun (she knows her lighting).
  
  I could not have felt more comfortable and myself. The lighting and the colors came out great; the photos are just beautiful.
