  Karen of Mason Alley is an outstanding calligrapher and a delight to work with. She was so flexible and accommodating and her work is beautiful. So happy we found her for our daughter's wedding.

  Out of all of the preparations and decorations for my daughters wedding, the calligraphy was my favorite part. Karen from Mason Alley Calligraphy designed a custom invitation for the wedding and it is my favorite invitation I have seen. Together, we collaborated and she designed a simple deep green invitation with a beautiful gold foil calligraphy. She not only created our invitations, but she also designed two separate insert cards and addressed our envelopes in matching fonts and colors. I was so excited about the beautiful invitations, that I couldn't leave the return address in an ugly computer font, so she created a template for a return address embosser machine. She did a tag for our wedding favors and large gold foil signs that matched the favor. We also had oversized numbers for each of the tables done in gold foil calligraphy to match all of the other art she had created. This wedding was a little bit chaotic with the bride in Utah, and the wedding in Portland where I live. Even though Mason Alley is in Los Angeles, distance was not an issue at all. Karen was incredibly responsive and I know she worked late nights to make sure everything was on time. She was timely with everything, and even though we planned this wedding in just a few months, Karen was a joy to work with!

  If you want a vendor that makes you feel as special and as cared for as family, then choose Mason Alley Calligraphy! The entire process was enjoyable, easy and left us so so so happy and grateful for the end result. It was clear she took time and care through each step of the process. She was also really good at giving her insight, and input when needed, to help guide our decisions to ensure we would be the happiest. I would recommend her to everyone! I also hope that she becomes a life long friend!

  Karen with Mason Alley Calligraphy delivered absolutely stunning work for my wedding! She listened to my vision and created handwritten placecards, signage, and menus that were so stylish and exactly what I wanted. She was incredibly thorough, and truly went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with her work. My mind was totally at ease through the entire process and she was super responsive. She has an amazing and versatile talent and I can't wait for future events where I can work with her again!
