    Matchstix Studios is the premiere wedding film company for Southern California!

    Alot of my wife's family was unable to make it to california for the wedding. We had to fly back to Ohio for another reception. Michael worked day and night to get us our cut in time for the Ohio reception so we could show the video to all of the extended family. THEY LOVED IT. The family felt as if they were there even thought they were thousands of miles away. I

    Michael is amazing. He is attentive and cares about you and the story of the big day.
    Michael is always thinking a head to the edit and making sure that he has the coverage needed to tell your story.

    This isn't random shots from your day strung to music like many "wedding videographers" out there. This is a specialized video that is a narrative in telling the story of the bride and groom and the day or celebration.

    Michael is involved in the plans for your wedding so he can maximize his time and make sure he is in the right place at the right time.
    We never worried once whether Michael was the getting the shot.

    So many of our guests mentioned how they had forgotten a videographer was there and when seeing the final video were shocked that there were so many shots and angles. He is respectful of your time that day and of making sure you are the highlight of the day.

    Michael has state of the art equipment. This isn't just a DSLR on a stick, he has professional grade top of the line equipment to make sure the shots he pulls off speak of the quality he is known for. People were impressed when they saw our videographer's gear knowing that the final product was going to be a professional film.

    If you want someone who cares and who has the experience to pull anything off, then I highly recommend Matchstix Studios as your go to wedding videographer!!!!

    Matchstix studios captured our wedding day perfectly! Sadly my grandparents were unable to travel for the big day so it was very important for them to feel like they were there when watching the video. They loved it, we are so happy with how everything turned out!

    Michael was personable and professional, great combo! I would highly recommend him and use him again in the future! My husband and I love watching our wedding day, thank you Matchstix studios!

    Matchstix Studios were just incredible! They are fun and friendly and were able to capture ever detail that mattered. Everything from filming our engagement session to our wedding vows, our guests even got the opportunity to watch “our story” during the reception. Mike’s attention to detail was so helpful during our planning process it made our day run smooth.

    Michael was great to work with. We met before the wedding and he was very personable and organized. He was responsive with my requests and got to know all the details of my wedding as he prepared. On the wedding we did not have to worry about anything- they were there and did their job. We love the highlight video. Thank you Matchstix Studio!!!!

    My husband and I decided to hire a videographer less than two weeks before our wedding. Despite having his own wedding in less than a week, Mike Liu from Matchstix jumped in. He came over to our house to go over the details of our wedding, immediately contacted the members of our bridal party who were giving speeches, and began formulating ideas for our video. On the day of, Mike and his assistant, Jay, worked seamlessly and remained in the background. The end product was a work of art. Little details and humorous moments were woven into the big moments, leading to a complete story.
    Finally, Mike is extremely responsive, trustworthy, and professional. Both before and after the wedding, he was quick to respond to emails and address concerns. You can't go wrong with Matchstix Studios!

    Videographer was easygoing and hardworking. Passionate for creating lovely video with customers and make something that personalize each different couples. Have a unique way to tell each love story through video! Recommended definitely!
