    Aaron was amazing! He was responsive and professional throughout our whole wedding process. Aaron played all of our songs on cue and never missed a beat! Would STRONGLY recommend Aaron if you are looking for a cheerful DJ who you can completely trust to make your day special (and run smoothly!).

    Aaron was great! My husband and I had agreed on the play lists and used the website to put our choices in. I was in contact with Arron months before the wedding and we were able to make some last minute changes for the ceremony. He was able to keep good music going and the dance floor going!

    Aaron was a great DJ! He provided amplification for our ceremony, and music and party lighting for our reception. The reception was a blast and he kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night! We highly recommend Aaron!

    We loved working with Aaron! He was super easy to work worth and was very flexible with all of our random requests both before and during the reception on the fly. He was very detailed, making sure he knew everyone he was introducing and how to pronounce their names, and also keeping us all in line. The online tool to create your playlist made it so easy, and it keeps track of how much time the music you have chosen will last so you know how many songs you need to add to your list. The playlist we had kept people dancing all night long - and Aaron was really good at picking just the right song to keep the party going. We had an extra large dance floor and it was full all night! Also very affordable. We would highly recommend DJ Aaron for any wedding!

    Aaron did an amazing job. he kept the dance floor full all night long and even looked up a song on you tube in order to find a song my grand parents had danced to 52 years ago. i would highly recommend Matrimonial Sound.

    Aaron was the perfect DJ for our wedding and we are extremely happy with our choice! We met Aron at a wedding expo, and were drawn to his personality, he was not the typical obnoxious, cheesy DJ (which my husband loathes), and so we were happy to meet with him to see what he could offer. At our first meeting, Aaron showed up on time at our home, and was very professional. He explained all of his services, including an awesome website where we or our guest could request songs ahead of time. He was also able to provide a slide show presentation as a part of the package which we really wanted. We signed the contract, and had 2 additional in person meetings with him just to firm up details (I am a little particular), and he was always willing to offer suggestions, but also be agreeable to whatever we really wanted. His price was excellent compared to other DJ's that we talked to. On the day of our wedding he was on time and ready to go! He helped organize the bridal party for introductions, and got the slide show off without a hitch. Once the real party started he played most of the songs we wanted and all of our guests commented on how awesome the music was. After the wedding one of our groomsmen asked if he could have the mix tape from our wedding! Thanks Aaron for making our party so great!!!!!!!

    Aaron did a GREAT job DJ'ing at our wedding. He was very professional and we met with him twice before the event. I loved his website because you could pick the songs you wanted in advance, make a playlist (and a do not play list) and he pretty much stuck to the songs we wanted to hear (along with requests from others). I was hesitant to get a DJ just because I've been to weddings where they have taken over the show. Aaron was great and was kind of like the "un-DJ DJ" which is exactly what I wanted. Great job!!! He comes highly recommended.

    I don't think five stars are enough. Aaron was not only an amazing DJ but was excessively fun. We've gotten so many guests asking about the DJ and complimenting the DJ services. I would be glad to use Aaron for any function I have in the future including live sound. Thank you so much for everything you helped make our night PERFECT. Pete & Lauren Buchbauer

    Aaron was terrific! Couldn't have asked for better! He got soaking wet setting up for our outside ceremony that never happened and had a smile on his face the whole time! We loved it!

    A lot of fun to work with before and during the wedding, while at the same time professional when he needed to be. Our wedding party was impressed with the way he was able to organize us before we were introduced to the reception without slowing down our good time. The service Aaron uses to plan out the reception details and song selections was very helpful (and especially great for someone like me who needed to feel in control of the songs that were played). Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with our choice.

    We enjoyed working with Aaron. He was able to feel out the crowd for what music they liked which kept the dance floor packed the whole night. I also liked that he allowed our wedding party to customize the songs they chose to be announced to which was a fun touch! The only problem I had was that he did not start our first dance song at the beginning. This was an issue as my husband and I took dance lessons and had a specific point in the song that we were going to start our steps to. When he turned the song on and called us to the dance floor the singer was already singing, he skipped over the entire into. As you could imagine I was freaking out in my head. When we got out to the dance floor we had missed the point where we were supposed to start our dance and we both looked awkward and confused for a moment. Luckily my husband is good in bad situations and he quickly grabbed my hand and started making jokes to make me smile and just started dancing with me. I was so embarrassed, red in the face and sweating like a pig the whole dance. We did the typical high school looking dance because we could not do the dance we paid lessons for because it was all thrown off. We only ended up doing one twirl and were talking the whole time which isn't romantic or the way I wanted it to go at all which was extremely disappointing to me. I would have given him an even lower star rating because of this but I am not sure if he started the song late because he chose to without asking us or if he just didn't know or had a different version of the song. I would recommend him because he's good but make 100% sure he knows when to start and end your first dance song so you don't end up like us!

    Aaron is a great DJ! He's a little hard to get a hold of sometimes, but rest assured, he is very organized and knows what he is doing. Take his advice on the flow of the reception-- he has a lot of experience. A got a lot of compliments from many guests.

    I met Aaron at a bridal show and his personality really drew me to him (he felt like a friend rather than that stereotypical sleazy DJ type). I scheduled an appointment with him and he came to our house and gave us a detailed listing of his services and walked us through the planning process. He even helped us lay out an example of the events we might like for the evening to help us start thinking about how we wanted things to flow (very helpful). We signed Aaron on the spot and his prices were reasonable compared to other DJ’s. A few days after signing, Aaron gave us access to his online tools which had an extensive playlist creator (must play, play if possible, and do not play) and also a template where you entered everyone in your wedding party and the schedule of the night so we could keep the wedding flowing. It was very organized and easy to use. Before our wedding we had a second face-to-face meeting with Aaron where we ran down everything we had put online and discussed any final details (pronunciation of our wedding party names, what he was going to wear, the evening events and timing, etc…). The day of the wedding Aaron arrived early and had a very nice set-up. He was very nicely dressed and really made the evening. I have had numerous comments about how fun our wedding was and I attribute a lot of that to Aaron. He also got down on the floor and helped the guests dance some of those dances with specific moves that they didn't know how to dance. The only cons I have to say is that he didn’t play all the songs off my must play list (I really didn’t notice this fact until I thought about it after the wedding; however, he would play anything for me if I went up and asked him) and he was a bit hard to get in touch with for a few weeks during our planning process (however he said his hard drive had crashed and he didn’t have email access…it happens). I highly recommend Aaron and would use him again!

    This vendor was horrible. We met Aaron at a bridal show and scheduled an interview with him. He came out to our house and gave us the run-down of his services. The price seemed a little high and he seemed a little cocky, but we figured he'd make a good wedding DJ so we signed a contract. He told us in the meeting that they had a website that you can refer your friends/family to in order to request songs, but their song list on the website was an excel spreadsheet that had many of the song/artist names incorrect or misspelled. I tried to contact Aaron by cell phone, business phone, and email to obtain a copy of the contract and he wouldn't answer/respond (although he was very quick to deposit our check). Weeks later, I found a different number for him and he picked up and lied to me about emailing us our contract. I didn't get a good feeling about working with him, and I was definitely nervous about having a no-show on my wedding date. I contacted him a month or so later with a few questions, and I did ask where he obtained his music (because of his less-than professional music listing on the website). I didn't receive a response to this email, so I contacted another DJ company he worked for just to ask what kind of feedback they'd received about Aaron since we were second-guessing our choice. Right after, I received a response from Aaron canceling the contract. I was definitely happy to find another DJ who ran their business more professionally and who we could trust.

    Matrimonial Sound's reply:

    I would like to address your comments by pointing out that the
    Wedding Wire is a place where people post reviews and comments
    regarding services RENDERED. You did not use my services and
    therefore your comments are both inappropriate and out of context.
    I have an excellent track record of good service and excellent
    communication. I publish my cell numbers, my fax, my office and two
    telephone numbers where messages can be left for the convenience of
    my clients. Communication is a two way street. I can not address
    client concerns if I do not know about them.
    I met with you personally to present my service offerings. You and
    your parents were excited and ready to move forward that night. We
    came to mutually agreeable terms and a signed a contract. If you had
    concerns with the price I would have encouraged you to price
    shop. If you had found another service to your liking, you had the
    option to cancel the contract within thirty days without penalty.
    Please do not mistake cocky behavior with self-confidence. I have
    been consistently exceeding client expectations. If you were
    concerned about a "no show" you could have relied on client
    testimonials. In all my years of operation, I have never "no-showed"
    a client.
    I process all new clients through an intake procedure. I emailed you
    a copy of your contract BEFORE depositing your check. The outdated
    song lists to which you refer was found by you on another website
    that is not affiliated with Matrimonial Sound. I supplied you with
    password access to the Matrimonial Sound website where you could work
    on song requests, an event timeline and reception planner. If
    however you did not receive correspondence in a timely fashion, I
    would have expected a call. I would hate to think that a technical
    issue caused this block in communication. Yet, through all points of
    contact provided, I received no message.
    You proceeded to contact another company (a close friend and fellow
    DJ service provider) regarding my performance record. He responded
    to you via email (with a copy to me) that I was an excellent service
    provider and a professional. After hearing from him and reviewing
    your emails I was insulted. You took the time to contact him but did
    not share your concerns with me.
    I did not think that we could overcome the obstacle and communicate
    in a good-faith environment so I cancelled the agreement in the best
    interest of the both parties. When I contacted you to let you know
    that I was canceling our vendor/client agreement, you were upset and
    said that "you never meant to offend me".
    I released you from the contract months in advance of your
    event. After returning your deposit and a copy of the cancelled
    contract I wished you luck in finding a new DJ. I thought we had
    cancelled on amicable terms and was actually quite surprised by your
    Wedding Wire review.
    I hope you spent as much time posting a review of your contracted DJ
    and their services as you did posting an inflammatory review of
    mine. I encourage the reader to review comments from ACTUAL clients
    which stand in sharp contrast to this review.
