  The perfect ceremony

  Maija was so great to work with, she was able to guide us through creating the perfect ceremony that felt right for the both of us. She took the time to get to know our love story and crafted a really perfect and sweet ceremony for us. She has a really warm personality and really helps you to feel at ease and in good hands on your big day (because believe me, we were nervous!!)

  Amazing Officiant!

  When looking for a wedding officiant we wanted someone that would make our wedding ceremony personal, not just another ceremony that could be applied to any couple. We definitely got the personalization we were looking for with Maija. From the first phone call, the meetings as a couple, to the time she took to reach out to our friends and family, Maija definitely prioritized making our wedding ceremony unique to us as a couple. On the day of the wedding Maija was a calming presence in the midst of the chaos. It is so nice to know no matter what happened she had the ceremony under control. We would definitely recommend Maija to anyone who is looking for a wedding officiant.

  Wonderful Maija

  Maija was easy to work with - super fun! Took the time to get to know us, so she had things of value and relevance to put into our ceremony. She even learned how to tie a knot for our hand binding ceremony and struggled with untying our rings from our dog’s collar. We’d highly recommend her as an officiant who cares, will try new things for you and make your special day even more special!

  Lucky to have stubbled across Matrimony by Maija

  We were truly lucky to have found Maija! It was from the first conversation we knew we had found our officiant. Maija took the time to get to know us as individuals, as well as a couple. When it came time for our Wedding Day, we had felt like Maija was a longtime friend. Our ceremony was perfect; it was personal, short, funny and most of all, meaningful to us and those who celebrated with us. We received so many compliments on how the ceremony reflected us as a couple. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience! Maija is the BEST!
