  Makeup and hair that lasts all night long!

  Maya was great! She did exactly what I asked for working off of just a few pictures and was super flexible for scheduling. We had an early appointment at City Hall for our wedding so I was nervous about making it on time so she arrived earlier than planned just to make me more comfortable. My hair and makeup stated in place until I crashed late that night. I would highly recommend, it was a dream!

  Would hire Maya every time

  Maya is a magic worker! She did my make-up for my wedding, including the bridal party and moms. Maya is extremely professional and an excellent communicator throughout the whole planning process (such a lifesaver). Everyone was so happy with their make-up, it felt so natural and it stayed on the entire night. I was so thankful to have Maya there, she went above and beyond for each of us!

  Just what I wanted!

  Maya is amazing! Not only was she super responsive, but she was also so friendly and great to work with. She made me feel at ease on my wedding day and did a beautiful job with my hair and makeup, frequently checking in with me to make sure I was happy. I wanted a natural look and loved how it turned out! I was really pleased with how my hair and makeup looked in the photos as well. Not to mention, she worked with my mom and sister and they looked flawless as well! Thank you, Maya!

  Absolutely amazing!!!

  Absolutely amazing!! Maya is so talented. I cannot say enough good things about her. On my wedding day, Maya was punctual, professional, and an absolute joy to work with. I typically wear very little make up and wanted to feel like myself on that day. Maya absolutely delivered. She worked diligently and was extremely organized. She was also so fun to be around—the morning with her flew by. Due to the pandemic, I ended up eloping and never had a trial run with Maya. I was stunned at how she able to pull together exactly what I had envisioned (actually better than anything I could have ever envisioned) with so little guidance and no trial run. I wish I could have that look everyday. It felt like me with just the right amount of glam. Maya was also incredibly flexible. We had to change our ceremony time at the last minute and she arrived later to accommodate our schedule. I would highly recommend her!!!

  Lovely to work with!

  I am very awkward and unsure of how to describe what I wanted for my wedding makeup- Maya immediately put me at ease! She was easy to talk to and helped me uncover what I was really looking for. I loved having her there on my wedding day and she did an incredible job on my hair and makeup. Would recommend her 100% .

  Extremely Talented and Kind!

  Maya was absolutely amazing. We had to change our date, and she was so flexible and kind throughout the entire process. On the day of our wedding, she showed up on time, and finished everybody's makeup in exactly the time allotted, which was perfect since we were already on a tight schedule. Her setup was organized and clean and she made me and all our bridesmaids feel comfortable in her chair. Not only was she amazing to work with, but she is also extremely talented! I have very long, thick hair, and she put in an updo that did not budge the entire night and looked fabulous in all of our photos! My makeup was gorgeous as well and made me feel elegant and bridal, but still like me. I highly recommend Maya for any hair/makeup needs!

  Bridal Hair and Makeup - Amazing!

  I can't say enough wonderful things about Maya and her teammate. I had one trial hair and makeup prior to meeting her and it didn't go well, so I was very nervous, but soon after meeting her and her starting my trial, I knew that I wanted her to be a part of my wedding day! My hair and makeup trial was so wonderful and Maya really understood and listened to what I wanted and executed it perfectly! Maya was great with communication throughout the entire process (even when she was on vacation)! On the day of my wedding, she came on time and was prepared. She created the timeline and stuck to it, which really made the entire day flow easily and allowed my bridal party to enjoy as we weren't stressed about finishing on time. Maya did my hair and makeup and she did such an amazing job. I got compliments (and still do when I show pictures) about how beautiful my hair was and how natural my makeup was. Again, I can't say enough positive things about Maya!

  Bridal Makeup and Hair

  I have Maya to thank for my wonderful wedding day look! I hired her and her team to do hair and makeup for myself and all my bridesmaids. Beforehand, Maya was really nice, easy to talk to and accommodating to make my "day-of" look come to life. I was nervous as I am someone who doesn't wear much makeup. I wanted my pictures to be perfect, but still look like myself. Maya achieved this look even better than I imagined! She met with me for a trial and worked closely with my wedding planner to coordinate a perfect timeline. The morning of, she was calm and fun to hang out with during those pre-wedding nerves and we were all finished right on time! I would highly recommend hiring Maya not only for wedding, by any special special occasion that you'd want to look your best for.

That's a big deal, when I reached out to Maya, she was extremely kind and flexible with how many times I changed my trial appointment. She came to my place for my trial and she did a beautiful job. Everything she uses is high quality, my makeup stayed on the rest of the day and hair was still in curls. On the day of my wedding, she did my bridesmaids and mom makeup and hair. Since there were so many girls, she had to come to my hotel first then drive to the venue. She was so nice about it and it wasn't a problem at all even though it was so last min. Like many of the other reviewers, I don't normally wear much makeup and when I've had my hair and makeup done at friends' weddings, I always ended up feeling very self-conscious and not myself. I had the opposite experience with Maya. I attribute this not only to the trial run but also to her incremental, thoughtful approach. She checked in frequently with me to make sure I was okay with the amount of eye shadow, liner, etc. and she really listened when I requested adjustments. This made me much less nervous on the day of the wedding because she knew exactly what I liked/didn't like and there weren't any surprises. I received so many compliments on my hair and makeup throughout the day and the best part was that I felt like myself, just a little enhanced. Everything stayed put and I didn't need to do any touch ups. She uses very high quality makeup and lashes and hair products and they made all the difference.   I honestly could not recommend Maya enough. She did my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as my sister-in-law/officiant's hair and we were both beyond happy. Maya traveled to the South Bay for my consultation and the East Bay for my wedding and had everything prepared and organized so after a quick set up she was ready to go. I had a pretty good idea about what I wanted for my hair, but as someone who wears very little make up I was not sure how to articulate what kind of look I wanted. Maya knew exactly what to do, starting with a baseline look and sort of "working up" from there. In the end, she had me looking better than I could have imagined!
  
  Beyond creating a great look, she also did a fantastic job giving me a look that lasted all day. I have very long hair, but she secured my up-do perfectly so that it looked flawless throughout the night and did not feel bulky or heavy in the slightest. I should also mention that everyone thought it was a MIRACLE I was able to wear all of my hair up, considering how long it was at the time. My make-up and false eyelashes kept perfectly as well, and she armed me with a mini touch-up set for my lip color. I would (and will) gladly recommend Maya to friends and family for any special event. She's super talented and a very sweet person to spend a few hours with as she get's you looking your best!

  I contacted Maya about six weeks before my wedding date and I was lucky enough that she was still available for the day of my wedding. Maya was patient with me to better understand what I wanted for my wedding hair and makeup. I appreciated that she listened to what I wanted and make great suggestions in styling the look. I would hire Maya again and recommend her to my friends and family.

  My original makeup artist canceled on me two weeks before my wedding which sent me scrambling for a replacement. I emailed several artists including Maya and she was quick to respond. I was excited to hear that not only was she available but her prices were VERY reasonable! (Most were either already booked or WAY out of my budget!) I've never had my makeup done professionally before and she answered all my questions about her products and techniques. My biggest concern was staying power. We were doing a "first look" at 10:30 that morning and the wedding wasn't until 4:30 so I really wanted to make sure it could last all day. She assured me that it could & would. Time & distance did not allow for me to do a trial run but she had great suggestions on how to find the look I was going for. On the day of, she arrived on time and quickly set up and went to work. I showed her what I liked and wanted and she also offered some suggestions based on my features which normally I probably would've skipped but I felt so comfortable with her knowledge that I decided to go for it. I'm so glad I did! My look was amazing and it felt natural, not like I was caked in product. I received so many compliments. She was right about the staying power. It lasted ALL DAY and into the night at the reception with food, cake, dancing, even light rain didn't affect it. I am beyond impressed! Her skills, her knowledge, her communication... all are top notch! I honestly cannot recommend her enough!   Maya is amazing,and I can't recommend her enough. She did the makeup and hair for my wedding for me (the bride), my mom, and several bridesmaids. We had a consultation prior to the wedding, and on the day-of she kept a tight schedule and the results were wonderful. Maya is professional, flexible, patient, and a great resource for suggestions on glam as she has amazing style. She was also very reasonably priced for the services provided, and had a wide menu of options which my bridesmaids really liked, such as hair-only, make-up only, or partial make-up. I will definitely be giving her a call the next time I have a special event to go to.
