  Wedding ceremony and reception

  We celebrated our wedding ceremony and reception at the Mayflower Inn and Spa, and a celebration it was indeed! Ally and her team made sure that everything flowed: every guest was taken care of, the vendors were directed to where they needed to be, and whatever needs or questions we had, they were answered promptly and to our complete satisfaction. The food was delicious, and the timing was perfect and thoughtful - serving was paused during the toasts.
  We had the ceremony in the Shakespeare garden, which is beautiful and a romantic backdrop. Lunch was in the main dining room, and we concluded with dancing in the tea house, where we also had the cake (baked by the Mayflower team according to our wishes).
  Neither we nor any of our guests stayed at the Mayflower Inn, which did not impact our event at all. Ally and her team are very courteous, professional and attentive to their guests wishes and all details.
  As the bride, I was able to completely enjoy this day, in great part thanks to Ally taking care of everything.
  I would like to thank the team one more time for creating such a wonderful experience for us and our guests, and I can recommend the Mayflower for organizing and running amazing special events. They certainly did that for us!

  Dreams Come True at the Mayflower

  Our wedding at the Mayflower was truly what dreams are made of. Even from the earliest communications and throughout the process, Alli was responsive and attentive. It was very comforting to know that we were working with someone we could trust.
  
  Alli went above and beyond to help make our day exactly what we dreamed. Every little detail was taken care of to ensure that our day was stress-free. All of the vendors and the staff were directed where they needed to be at the right times.
  
  We got married in the Shakespeare garden among the trees which made for a beautiful setting. The property is stunning and the rooms exceeded all expectations. The service from all the staff was impeccable. The food on the night of our wedding was delicious and as the bride and groom, we got served our meal first so that we could relax and enjoy it.
  
  We could not recommend this venue enough and look forward to returning to celebrate anniversaries! Thank you to Alli and her team for making dreams come true

  Stunning piece of New England!

  My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at the Mayflower Inn. Due to COVID-19 we rescheduled our wedding four times and ended up switching venues within 3 months of our wedding date. One of the ONLY good things about the stress of being a “COVID bride”, was that I was able to switch to my dream venue! Jordanna was incredible through the booking process, and Maggie was amazing with the planning process! My guests were BLOWN away by the beautiful grounds (the wedding tent is STUNNING!), and the professionalism of the Mayflower staff. My bridesmaids and I prepared for the wedding within the spa salon, where food and drinks were brought to us. We elected to have our first look at Shakespeare’s Garden, which is across the campus of the inn. Maggie arranged for cars with air conditioning to ensure the comfort of myself and my bridal party. All of my guests raved about the food and drinks, and canapés were brought directly to my guestroom while my dress was being bustled! My husband and I stayed the night at the inn, our guestroom was stunning! Flowers from the wedding were placed in my room and champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries were waiting for us. The breakfast was incredible as well. My only note of caution is parking at the inn. While a valet company was utilized, parking was still difficult and caused a delay of arrival for my guests (some even missed the ceremony). All in all, it was a fantastic day that my friends and family are STILL talking about over a month later! My husband and I cannot wait to go back for our anniversary!

  Mayflower inn and spa

  We love the Grace Mayflower inn and spa and the lovely staff that made our wedding a dream come true. We fell in love with the Grace a few years ago when we were visiting family in CT. We spent a few days and decided that it was our “secret spot” to getaway. So, when we started planning our wedding, we did not waste time looking around. We knew this was our spot. The service and attention to detail is impeccable. I believe it surpasses expectation. The staff is so well mannered, lovely and so personable. Thank you, Allison “Alli” Fodor for working with our planner and making this dream come true. I cannot rave enough about Allison, Michael, Peter to name a few. Everything was perfect...from the tasting, to the rehearsal dinner, to the cocktail hour, the day of and finally our Eaton suite which was prepped so beautifully. This review does not do justice to the experience we, our family and friends experienced. This was an unbelievable experience that will be cherished for a lifetime. THANK YOU
