  Lauren was wonderful at providing this to be our venue in August 2016. She went over every detail and going over our drink and food menus to helping with our budget too. we get golf carts to use for photos that day!!

  Lauren, the wedding coordinator is absolutely wonderful to work with. She is always there to answer questions, whether at the venue, via email, or over the phone. She is flexible to the point of moving the entire wedding inside within less than an hour of ceremony start time. Lauren is very professional, she wants your day to be the best day ever and she will work with you through the entire planning process, and check in with you on the day of to make sure everything is going as planned. The day of your wedding is stress free as Lauren and other workers at the Club will set up everything for you from ceremony to reception! As for the service of McHenry Country Club, everyone is a joy to work with. According to our guests, the appetizers kept coming and coming during cocktail hour, the servers were always there with another round. Also, according to our guests, the meals were phenomenal! I heard, 'The food was to die for!' 'Those chicken quesadillas were incredible!'

  I am sorry that I have not responded sooner. I had my daughter's baby shower at the country club and could not have been more pleased. Lauren was marvelous! Everything went very smoothly without a hitch. The food was excellent, as well as the service. I would certainly come back to the McHenry Country Club for my next event. Thank you once again.

  Could not have asked for more! Lauren and her staff were amazing! From our first meeting to the end of the reception, they catered to our every needs. The food and service were first class! Our guests are still calling us and talking about what an amazing event it was. I don't know what else to say, but if I did it would be nothing but good!

  Our event was handled by the McHenry Country Club with the utmost elegance and attention to detail. Lauren, the coordinator, met all of our needs with enthusiasm and professionalism.   Thank you for your help arranging my husband's "Celebration of Life" memorial service. The attention to detail was most appreciated. The dinner buffet was delicious and I appreciated the flexibility of the chef who did such a wonderful job incorporating some Irish dishes to celebrate my husband's heritage. Thank you again!

  Lauren and the staff at McHenry Country Club were so flexible with our Unique theme and also respectful of our budget. We had both our ceremony and our reception at the Country Club that couldn't be done at any other place (being on the water). Not only were we extremely pleased as a newly married couple, our guests have been ranting and raving about the venue and the food since our awesome day last week. As the Wedding Event Manager, Lauren E made us feel at home and did a ton of behind-the-scenes services that were above and beyond our expectations. We couldn't have asked for a better venue, Serving Staff, and Event Manager-Lauren!! Awesome Job McHenry Country Club!

  Our daughter's wedding will be this October at Grand Geneva (she did not want the same venue as her brother), so I can say from first hand experience that you can not beat the cost of McHenry Country Club. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was amazing. You can't beat the view from the dining room and the wedding pictures on the course are beautiful.

  The St. Patrick Ladies Guild held their Spring Luncheon at McHenry Club on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It was very reasonably priced. The ladies were very impressed. We will recommend McHenry Country Club to other groups and we would like to hold more events there.

  The country club did a great job. They made sure that everything went smootherly with the florist, bakery, DJ and photographer. The adjusted the plates for our younger guests. It was a great party.
