    McKenzie rocks!

    McKenzie and her staff are the best! They are the reason my wedding day ran smoothly and with no moments of crisis the day of, and they are the only reason I was able to relax and enjoy the day instead of worrying and being glued to my phone. During the day the made sure everything was perfectly ready and at night they were constantly in the background assisting with everything from making sure my glass was full, to making sure everyone got a piece of cake, and clean up too. I could not recommend them enough!

    Phenomenal

    They made the planning experience so much easier. I only did the day of services but it was an amazing experience and made it much easier for me to relax. Everyone was so kind and so helpful.

    Full-Service Client Review

    Five stars and a few words cannot encompass how amazing McKenzie Phillips truly is. As a full-service client, I spent the last year and half working with McKenzie to plan our perfect wedding. Hiring McKenzie means hiring a wealth of industry knowledge. She has the vendor relationships needed to hire the best team, she understands every minuscule detail needed on the day-of, and her wedding-planning packages include more services than most other planners in the KC market. Not only did McKenzie execute our wedding vision perfectly, but she helped us create it in the first place, and let me tell you...it was BEAUTIFUL. I was in law school during our engagement and knew I could be as hands-off as I needed to in the wedding-planning process because of my complete and utter trust in McKenzie. In addition to McKenzie's invaluable services, she personally is such a pleasure to be around. She is fun, calming, and genuinely wants to make your wedding day perfect. I assure you, you will be so thankful you hired McKenzie to plan your big day!

    McKenzie and her staff were AMAZING to work with on our big day! I am so thankful we chose to work with them for our wedding. McKenzie was always available to answer my questions or offer advice for us. On the day of our wedding, her staff did absolutely everything from A to Z. As a bride, it was a 100% stress free day and I am so grateful! I highly recommend them to ANYONE AND EVERYONE, from full wedding coordination to day of coordination and everything between. Thank you so much McKenzie and crew!!

    McKenzie and team are wonderful! We hired them for "Day of" but she provided so much more! We met with her several times leading up to my daughter's wedding. As they were setting up at the venue she noticed one of the Waterford champagne flutes was broken....she exchanged it on her way to the wedding ceremony and didn't miss a beat! Her team had everything packed up and ready for us at the end of the reception, and we were out of the venue in no time thanks to their organizational skills! Money well spent and Zero regrets. Thank you McKenzie for being a valuable part of this special day!

    Having McKenzie and Madison as our day of coordinators was the absolute best decision I made for our wedding! Leading up to the wedding McKenzie gave me advice and guidance, and helped me to create my dream wedding. A few weeks prior to the wedding Madison went with me to the final venue walk through and was so attentive to detail and asked questions I hadn't even considered. On the day of the wedding Madison was there early in the day and decorated our space, and was a rock for me that day. Through every step of the day I was reassured that Madison could take care of anything that came up and she saved me from dealing with the stress of all of the tiny details. She stayed late to clean up and load my parent's cars. I didn't hire McKenzie and her staff until about halfway through my wedding planning process, and my only regret is that I didn't hire her sooner. I would recommend McKenzie and her staff to anyone and I know that I owe my dream wedding to McKenzie and her support.

    McKenzie was so AMAZING while planning our wedding. We hired her for the "day of" coordination, but she provided so much more than just help on the day of. She kept track of all the last minute details and made sure that everything ran smoothly. I really appreciated her communication with the vendors, and her guidance on a couple last minute decisions. I would highly recommend McKenzie. She made sure that I was able to enjoy my wedding day because I was confident that she could handle anything that came up!

    We had McKenzie for the day of service and she went above and beyond with everything! She met with us multiple times and helped make our wedding perfect. She was so flexible and accommodating and went out of her way to ensure you have everything you need. She is great with communicating and gets back to you right away always! If you are still debating on a wedding planner-I would highly highly recommend McKenize.

    McKenzie is amazing! We hired her as our day of coordinator and because of her my day was 100% stress free. She handled every single detail and we had multiple meetings before the big day to ensure she was aware of the vision and dynamics she’d be working with. She ensured everything was in place and put out fires I don’t even know about. She’s the best—I can’t imagine what my day would have been like without her!

    Isaac and I could not have been more thrilled with McKenzie's execution of our wedding. She crushed it! Isaac and I were able to soak in every moment of our wedding weekend because we were completely carefree throughout our ceremony and reception. Leading up to the wedding, she diligently mapped out every detail, contacted our vendors regarding final itinerary and last minute changes, and met with me several times. The day of, she and her two employees had everything covered! Looking back on our amazing celebration, we both agreed that our VENDORS -- especially McKenzie Phillips Events, LLC -- were worth every. single. penny. I encourage you to go no further looking for an event Coordinator because McKenzie is a BOSS who takes great pride in ensuring all of the details run smoothly and her clients can enjoy themselves worry-free.     Amazing! The best! I can not say enough great things about McKenzie and her team. They will go above and beyond to make sure you have the absolute best day ever. There are many different packages to fit many different needs and budgets. They rentals are very affordable and great quality. McKenzie is extremely organized and made me feel so relaxed on our wedding day. There was so many little things that her and her team did behind the scenes to make our day perfect. Thank you is simply not enough.

    McKenzie did a "bang up job" as my husband just said :) We had some shake ups with our venue two weeks before our wedding day and it added a ton of stress by changing most of my day of timeline and made it so I wasn't going to be able to be at the venue during set up. Luckily I had time to meet with McKenzie and explain to her what all I'd like to be done while I wasn't there and, sure enough, as I walked into the venue and down the aisle everything looked perfect. She kept the whole night moving as scheduled and made sure our clean up went off without a hitch. Anytime I had any little worry like, oh crap where are the dessert tongs!, she was right on it. Our whole wedding party and my mom had nothing but good things to say about McKenzie and I'm so happy she was there to be my day of coordinator.

    McKenzie was a great coordinator! We hired her for the rehearsal and day of coordinating. She met with my mom and I multiple times before the big day, created a detailed timeline, communicated with all of my vendors, and kept everything so organized. She was professional, affordable, and our special day went a little smoother thanks to her.

    I can not imagine my wedding day without McKenzie Phillips Events. They were absolutely amazing at taking care of everything, leaving my mom and I stress free. McKenzie was very flexible on times she could meet. She was beyond friendly but yet assertive when it came to getting things done and people to cooperate. Our wedding went so smoothly because of McKenzie Phillips Events. If you are second guessing using a wedding planner, like I was, trust me when I say this was the best decision we made.

    My mother and I originally thought we could handle planning and executing my wedding ourselves. As time grew closer to the date (6 months out) we both decided we had to have professional help. We found McKenzie Phillips Event Coordinating through The Knot. Her reviews were all wonderful and after meeting with her initially we knew she would be the best fit for taking over my entire wedding! She is very detailed and thrives on perfection. She personalized each service that we needed right down to delivering all gifts after the reception to our designated location. Amongst her most impressive characteristics were the attention to small details that I never would have thought of. These included but are not limited to : perfecting the timing and pace of the wedding party actually walking down the aisle, coordinating with the dj throughout the night for various songs and announcements, making sure the reception venue looked perfect and keeping the groomsmen focused and attentive to the main goal (the wedding!) Things that I could not have done due to time constraints leading up to the "big day" that she did for me were: planning out our venue seating along with all of the placement of the bars, dj table, buffet tables, head tables, etc, speaking with all vendors and coordinating the vendors arrivals perfectly (transportation, flowers, cake, dj, the Priest :), etc, She took a huge room and made it look like a fairy tale. Her reviews are all wonderful, but they do not do nearly the justice that she deserves. If I could give her more stars I would. I was LITERALLY able to relax on my wedding day because I knew McKenzie was in charge and would handle ANYTHING that came up. We had a few hiccups due to the church and their restrictions and McKenzie came up with a plan B immediately and no one in our wedding party nor any of our guests knew anything about the little mishaps. I cannot thank McKenzie enough! Hire her and you will NEVER regret it.

    Hiring McKenzie was the best decision we could have made for our wedding! We hired her as the "Day-of" coordinator and a couple extra services that she offers as add-ons. We were blown away by her level of involvement and her immense knowledge of all things wedding related. She came to our meetings completely prepared and incredibly organized. She thought of everything I would have missed, gave me great ideas on new ways to do things, and assured me that our day would be amazing and stress free! The day of, McKenzie and Alyssa arrived early at the venue, coordinated all the vendors’ arrivals and made sure everything was set up correctly! As the night went on, either Alyssa or McKenzie made sure to check in with us to see if we needed anything and to ensure we were having a good time. Not everything went as planned, but McKenzie was proactive in confronting any issue and resolving it quickly. Other than McKenzie and myself, no one would have known there was ever an issue. We were able to leave the venue feeling completely confident that McKenzie was in charge. I would and have recommended her to anyone getting married! We couldn’t have had such a stress free and amazing wedding without her.

    5 stars are not enough to give McKenzie! We cannot begin to thank her enough for all the hard work she put into ensuring our day was all we had dreamed of and more.

    We hired McKenzie for her day-of coordination services, but what we got was that and SO much more. From phone meetings / touch bases, to in-person meetings, rehearsal day, and wedding day, she brought her A+ game. There was not anything she said she WOULDN'T do - which we very much appreciated. We had a unique circumstance where we had to move our wedding up a few months sooner than originally planned, and McKenzie jumped right in. I know I'm forgetting a TON of things she helped do (because she did just that much), but here's a sample:

    - The week-of, she took a major stressor off my plate and followed up with vendors on arrival times and other important details. And if you have an unresponsive vendor, don't worry. She's not afraid to call and call until she gets an answer.
    - She crafted a heavily detailed schedule for rehearsal day and wedding day - it helped keep everyone in line and see all the plans laid out, altogether.
    - She stayed at the venue while the wedding party left for rehearsal dinner to prep the space, finalize DIY materials, etc. so we could enjoy our time with family and friends.
    - On wedding day, she arrived at 10:30 a.m. and brought over food for the bridal party to enjoy (not to mention a beautiful bouquet of flowers, which was absolutely, wonderfully unexpected!), handled last-minute requests, set table linens and decor pieces, and kept us on schedule throughout the day's festivities of getting ready and vendors arriving.

    All in all, she (and her staff member Donna) really just made our wedding day a breeze! Some of the other vendors had mentioned to me that day that I seemed like one of the most "calm" brides they'd ever worked with, and for that, I have McKenzie to thank. If you're looking for wedding planning services, look to McKenzie!

    McKenzie worked tirelessly to make our special day exactly what we wanted and made sure that everything was perfect! Our décor was beautiful and I could trust McKenzie to deliver exactly what I was looking for. She handles all of the hard work and makes life so much less stressful during those crazy wedding planning times!

    I was a huge mess before I met with McKenzie. She was very organized which made me very confident about the wedding. If I had any ideas that I wasn't for sure about she would tune in and make It better. I would meet with her every other week to see what all I had accomplished or needed to finish. And if I had a question in between I was able to text her and she would text back. My day turned out beautiful and she was there to guide me threw it. I would highly recommend her!

    My daughter was getting married with a very short time frame to plan the event. Mackenzie saved us with planning and coordinating every little detail. Her decorating ideas and execution of such are beautiful, unique and made for a wonderfully sophisticated yet causal affair. I could not of made it through the day without her overseeing that everything happened according to the schedule that day. I was able to relax and enjoy the wedding thanks to McKenzie!!!

    McKenzie and her staff were amazing to work with! We did the day of coordination package and it was worth every penny to have Mckenzie guiding us along the way, especially on the day of the wedding! We even hired McKenzie to coordinate our rehearsal as we were so impressed and needed her expertise!

    My only wish is that we would have further developed our plan for the end of the evening down to every detail so we weren't scrambling at the end of the night. There were a lot of questions about what to keep (flowers, etc.) and what to toss, etc. that resulting in some missing items, and thrown away desserts. This is super minor in the scheme of things compared to how the weeks leading up to the wedding and the how the day went.

    It was amazing and it definitely worth it to have a coordinator there running the show behind the scenes!!

    McKenzie and her team were great to work with! We hired them for day of coordination and rented some of her items. They kept our day on schedule to a T and made sure that coordination with all of our vendors was a success! It allowed my family and I to relax and actually enjoy the day. Her assistants were friendly and always willing to help. They even carried my dress to avoid getting muddy for 2 hours of pictures. I definitely recommend them for your day of coordination needs!
