  We had a fabulous experience at the McMinnville Grand Ballroom. The space is just beautiful and very flexible for a historic space. Steve was repsonsive to all my (contant) questions and provided extra value by helping us get our linens at a great price. We fit 150 guests, a buffet, and dance floor very comfortably with room to spare. We only used it for our reception, so we didn't have to worry about changing over the room. I highly recommend this venue.

  The Mcminnville Grand Ballroom changed ownership right after I signed my contract with them. I loved the old owner- he was courteous and professional. I have never met the new owner, but worked mainly with Leslie, who was very friendly and wonderful to work with! I was very pleased with the deal I got under the old contract! The new owner is also the owner of Poseyland (a Mcminnville floral shop) and under the new contract, you are required to get flowers from Poseyland to use the ballroom. I received a call from Poseyland telling me that I needed to finalize my floral order before the event and when I informed them that I went with another florist, they got the owner on the phone who informed me that I HAD to buy flowers from her. I told her I was under the old contract and she did not seem happy and was somewhat short with me. Other than that one unpleasant experience, I was pretty happy with the ballroom. They are very flexible about letting you come out and see it! They were willing to work with the church nursery to let me rent it out as the area for the groom and his groomsmen. They were also great about having the tables, etc. all set up early in the morning!

  The ballroom and the downtown location are beautiful and Steve was readily available at short notice and was there throughout the day of to make sure the sound system and projection all worked. Make sure someone cleans the bathrooms though because they are open for use to the surrounding offices as well. Wonderful experience using this location.
