  Amazing photographer!

  Meg did an amazing job with our engagement and wedding sessions! She makes you feel so comfortable that you tend to forget there is a camera and just enjoy the time with the people around you. We purchased the two photographer, 8 hour package and ended up with a great mix of formal portrait style and candid style photos for our engagement & wedding. On our big day, she captured every detail, even things I hadn't even thought about. She is super knowledgeable and suggested lots of different shot options and groupings which was a relief for me because I only had to say yes or no. During our reception she suggested a super fun idea to get us pictures with each of our tables and it ended up being something that was super memorable for our guests. We raced from table to table and got a quick photo and our families still talk about it to this day. We received so many quality, beautiful photos of our wedding, its hard to choose which ones to frame! If you get a chance, book her, you won't be disappointed.

  Amazing Photographer!

  Meg did a FANTASTIC job with our wedding photos! After making several changes with our wedding being postponed due to Covid-19, she was so easy to work with and understanding. The photos she took are stunning. She captured different times of the day for the best lighting and effects. She captured the feelings of the day and made us feel so relaxed. During the craziness that happens during a wedding, the last thing I worried about was how our pictures would look because we trusted her completely. She was professional, approachable, and our family has complimented as well how easy it was and the results beautiful. Thank you so much Meg!!

  Meg did such a beautiful job on our engagement photos. She was very flexible with our location selections and went out of her way to find the best possible backdrops. When we suggested the State Fair we weren’t sure how doable it would be to shoot but she was very excited to help us have our dream location and we have great shots to remember our time in Minnesota! You can’t go wrong with Meg!

  Absolute amazing photographer to work with

  Meg is top notch. The level of professionalism and complete coverage in photography services that she provides is really hard to match or beat. She has an incredible knack for knowing where to be at the most important moments to capture some of the best pictures. Her ideas and suggestions for poses are fantastic and her use of the landscapes to capture the moment really put her above the rest. She was super well organized and super easy to work with. Her skill and expertise come through pretty quickly. She was incredibly thorough and had all angles covered and really made the whole process really smooth.

  Halloween Wedding!

  Megs Eye Photography was very easy to work with, well organized, and professional!. I couldn't have chosen a better photographer for my wedding. We got the best shots with family and friends and she got shots of our decorations. Everything was so special through her photos. Hands down the best for every occasion.

  I could not love my wedding photos more!

  Meg did our engagement session and wedding day. We purchased the 8 hour package with a second shooter. I love her style and wide angle shots and knew she’d be great for our venue.
  I LOVED our engagement photos so much. I’m a huge fan of winter and my husband loves craft beer so we shot at both the Ice Castles and Excelsior Brewing. We got over 200 photos in less than 2 hours.
  Our wedding photos were everything I wanted and then some. We ended up adding an extra hour of coverage to ensure we could get the detail shots I wanted and it was worth it. Even with 9 hours, I felt like we didn’t get as many individual pictures of my husband and me or as many “fun” shots as I wanted. This is not a knock on Meg, getting the family shots was a higher priority for me and those took some time. Wat as our second shooter. We ended up with more than 1600 edited images! Everything was delivered in 7 weeks which is right in the promised 6-8 weeks from the contract. Meg is also such a kind and fun person who managed to get all of our crazy family to smile for some great images.

  I found Meg's eye through the Minnesota Brides Facebook page. My husband was extremely picky and it took me months to find someone he liked. We had a tight budget so we booked the 6 hour package and we truly packed in every single moment in the 6 hours. Meg was so supportive! We are both not picture people but she made us so comfortable we have no awkward photos. We got 1200 photos and LOVE them all. My guests were so impressed by her, during happy hour she went around and took photos of all my guests having a good time. I can't help but tear up when I look at my photos they are so breathtaking. Meg is absolutely amazing and so talented you will not be disappointed! I had so many vendors to worry about planning my wedding and Meg was never difficult. I never had to worry about her she was prompt in her responses and exceeded our expectations! Book Meg if she is open for your date

  Best Photographer in Twin Cities!

  Meg is an AMAZING and talented photographer! We went with Meg for our engagement photos which turned out amazing, and we knew she wouldn't disappoint on the our big day.
  
  We consulted ahead of the wedding to make sure we had the day tentatively planned out and which portraits we were going to do. This was extremely helpful and honestly helped with planning the itinerary for the day. Meg is very knowledgeable in all things regarding weddings, not just photography and that was a big help. She also gave some tips to us to make our pictures better and I passed those along to the wedding party. She was very conscious of what we wanted to get out of your day regarding photos, meaning do we want to take a ton of portraits and wedding party pictures, or do we want to have more candids as we bar hop a bit between the ceremony and reception, or a mix of both. It was great having these expectations set up front.
  
  Meg would set up the most amazing photos and then just pull my husband and I in once it was setup. For example, she setup a really amazing photo where the lighting was just beautiful at the brewery we stopped at then when my husband and I were free, she pulled us aside and snapped some really great photos. It all seem just so effortless for us, when I know it was a lot of work and very detailed for her.
  
  Meg is really great at communicator and articulates how people should adjust for a certain photos/poses. This was really helpful as I feel like sometimes I can be an awkward person in photos, but you would never be able to tell with how well our photos turned out!
  
  Meg's assistance, Kim, was also amazing and the two complimented each other tremendously. They both had such incredible attention to detail and it definitely shows. They both were very professional, but knew how to read a crowd and help coral folks when needed.
  
  We have so many great photos from the day and I cannot thank Meg enough for everything. When we got our pictures back, it was like re-living the day all over again. Meg did some really cool enhancements with some of our photos and would recommend Meg over and over again!

  Meg's Eye was the photographer for my daughter's wedding. Her work was so special, that I have since asked her to take our family photos and gave her photography as a gift to a special client. Last month she took beautiful photos at my nieces dental school graduation. She really knows what she is doing. I can just sit back and relax. She is the best!

  I was not a traditional bride who had a clear vision of what I wanted my wedding photos to look like. I am also extremely uncomfortable in front of the camera and being the center of attention. Meg quickly picked up on how I was feeling and was reassuring, supportive and kind. She helped me relax and feel more confident. She has a very calm and happy demeanor which made me feel comfortable and cared for. She was unbelievably patient and encouraging with me, which made me feel like she really cared about me and my wedding and that this was something she was passionate about, not just a job. It was obvious that she was invested in making sure I had a great wedding and great memories of my wedding. My husband and I did not want many photos and weren't very excited about the photo shoot process but Meg managed to gently encourage us to do a few additional poses and settings which now, looking back, I am so grateful to have. She knew what we would want before we did and created extra work for herself just so we wouldn't regret anything later. So many of our favorite photos though are the ones she took without us noticing, which capture us as a couple in our natural state while still looking beautiful and flattering. Her photos show how sensitive and caring she is to you as an individual and what a gift she has for capturing personality and love in a photo when other photographers merely capture an image. She also didn't only take traditional photos, she also photographed all the tiny details that remind you of what the day really felt like. I cannot say enough about how much I respect Meg as a person and photographer and truly believe that my wedding was better because she was a part of it. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

  I was not a traditional bride who had a clear vision of what I wanted my wedding photos to look like. I am also extremely uncomfortable in front of the camera and being the center of attention. Meg quickly picked up on how I was feeling and was reassuring, supportive and kind. She helped me relax and feel more confident. She has a very calm and happy demeanor which made me feel comfortable and cared for. She was unbelievably patient and encouraging with me, which made me feel like she really cared about me and my wedding and that this was something she was passionate about, not just a job. It was obvious that she was invested in making sure I had a great wedding and great memories of my wedding. She has this amazing eye and blends intimate detail shots with posed portraits and casual candids that truly allow you to relive one of the best days of your life.
