Mel went above & beyond to deliver a beautiful floral design for every aspect of our wedding. She's fun, creative, and easygoing to work with. We loved the way everything came together and she worked very hard to work within our budget and deliver an outstanding job. Thank you! -

Melarosa was recommended by my caterer, The Raging Skillet. We knew the color palette we wanted and the type of arrangements but when we arrived at the venue and saw the flowers, my jaw dropped to the floor! The enormous displays were breathtaking! Not only were the colors exactly what we wanted but the result far exceeding our expectations! Melanie is the most generous and talented florist in New York. You won't regret a minute of your experience with her and her team! -

There’s no other way to put it: Melanie and the Melarosa team were lifesavers. Due to COVID, our venue was forced to make a change that totally upended our floral needs, and our original florist could not accommodate the changes. We found Melanie in the remaining few months leading up to our wedding day and she jumped into action. She quickly understood our vision and put our anxious minds at ease. She is incredibly knowledgeable and professional, and she executed our floral plan to perfection. Our chuppah was BEAUTIFUL, as were the bouquets—she even sourced certain hard-to-find/out-of-season flowers that we wanted from outside the country. Moreover, she was very understanding of our budgetary constraints and found creative ways to ensure we didn’t run over budget. Melanie and her team were instrumental in making our special day uniquely gorgeous and we couldn’t be more grateful for a terrific job well done. -

Phenomenal and most outstanding experience !
Melarosa and the team were incredible to work with from start to finish. I truly felt like I was treated like family throughout the entire process.
During our first meeting at the flower shop the team showed us different examples of my vision and set up vases and candles to select from. The patience, kindness, attention to detail, and communication is something I’ll forever be thankful for when it comes to my experience with Melarosa.
Walking into my wedding venue with the beautiful chuppah, entry table, flowers on the cake, and the tables with flowers and candles were a dream come true. My husband and I can’t find the words to show our appreciation for the love and beauty Melarosa poured into our event. -

We could not be happier with Melanie and her team's work to bring our wedding vision at Oheka Castle to life, and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a true professional and artist! As a bride who had never given much thought or obsessed over florals, one meeting with Mel in the NYC flower district changed my perception completely and got me even more excited about our wedding. From the start, Mel was extremely helpful in guiding our design while ensuring we kept to the budget. She went out of her way to procure and delight us with certain details (like chinoiserie vases and specific types of orchids) that we had requested, and patiently took all of our changing preferences into consideration over multiple samples and meetings. Even prior to our wedding, I knew I could trust Mel to produce beautiful creations for my bridal shower and our rehearsal dinner. With each event (all different venues and styles) she completely delivered, and of course made our fairy tale wedding dreams come true on the best day. Thank you, Melanie! -
Lori Sent on 11/11/2017My wedding flowers were a dream come true! Melanie exceeded my expectations with her gorgeous arrangements. From my bouquet, to the bridesmaids’ bouquets to the table arrangements –– she turned a rustic New York City venue into a romantic fairytale castle. Melanie is also a joy to work with, too! She listened to my ideas and enhanced them with her creativity and she was so patient as I worked through the images in my mind. I met her at the flower marked twice and she brought my vision to life right before my eyes! And she clearly has amazing relationships with all the flower vendors because everyone said hello and was more than accommodating while we built mock arrangements. Melanie will absolutely bring any space to life with her beautiful flowers and I would choose her for my wedding again in a heartbeat.

Brittany Sent on 10/04/2017To say Melanie is talented, is the most enormous understatement!! I first met her at the NY Flower Market when I was interviewing a number of florists for my wedding. I thought it was so special to be able to talk with her as she literally walked me through her creative process. With pretty minimal input, she came up with the most INCREDIBLE floral designs for my wedding!! I'm still waiting on the professional photos to come in, but wanted to post some of our amateur pictures from the night so that any bride looking for an incredible flower designer who is totally and utterly willing to work within your budget considers Melanie as a top option!! Most other florists I considered came in with prices almost DOUBLE what Melanie quoted me, and she stuck to that quote, even with some pretty significant design changes. She even drove out to the Hamptons twice for a site walk through and a sample set up. I cried when I got to see her designs for the first time! She was AMAZING!!! Cannot recommend her more highly!!

I had such a hard time finding someone who was willing to work within my budget without compromising the look and feel I was going for. Working in a blank space can be pricey! Melanie was awsome, and able to guide me into florals that would help execute my vision without going overboard on cost. It very hard to come by someone honest and not overpriced in NYC. When I met Melanie I knew she was a talented, trust worthy woman who would keep my best interest in mind. I wasn't wrong!
The florals on my big day were insane and most importantly the reception room looked stunning!!!!!!! I highly, highly recommend her. -

She will even meet with you at the flower market to walk through and discuss all the flowers. She made our wedding exactly how we wanted it. She is the absolute best

She worked with us to make our vision of having little vases of wild flowers all over the venue come to life. She was very patient and met us in the flower market to pick out what we liked but also knew when to build on what I was trying to describe. I can't recommend her enough, she did excellent work.
