  Melinda is a hair goddess

  Melinda is the kindest person and is a literal hair goddess. I booked her for my wedding. She did my hair and my entire wedding party - she was a joy to work with throughout the entire process. I have very long hair and wanted curls with tons of unique braids - she understood my vision perfectly and I was absolutely obsessed with the end result! My hair lasted all night and I got so many compliments. She was so collaborative throughout the process and I cannot recommend her enough. Thank you Melinda!!

  Everyone loved Melinda and her work

  Melinda is so incredibly talented and kind. She was recommended to me by my sister-in-law whose hair she used to cut years ago. She did my and my six bridesmaids' hair for my wedding and everyone was so happy with her work. Some hairstyles she created: a slick, stylish ponytail for one bridesmaid, an intricate braided updo for another, an editorial-looking bun for a bridesmaid with very short hair, and a loose and beautiful messy updo for me with wispy pieces falling out. During my trial, Melinda created two different hairstyles I was considering, and once I decided on one, tried several iterations of it to make sure we got it just right. Melinda was professional, responsive, and sweet. The day of the wedding, it felt like I had another friend in the bridal suite--she was lovely. I highly recommend hiring her.

  Amazing Wedding Updo

  Melinda is truly amazing! My hair trial was during a snow storm and I was running so late due to the weather but she waited for me to get there and I could tell how patient and detail oriented she was right away. I knew she would be perfect for my wedding day. She was punctual, professional, and friendly. She did 5 beautiful hair styles for myself, my bridesmaids, and mother of the groom. She captured every aspect of what I was looking for in my updo and my hair stayed in place all night! I would highly recommend Melinda!

  Melinda was the stylist for my wedding this past August. My photographer referred Melinda, and I knew I loved her style from looking at her website. This was further confirmed at my hair trial, when she effortlessly created numerous beautiful hairstyles (many including braids)! She genuinely loves being creative with hair, and it was so fun to chat with her during the trial- she was so friendly and cool. My mom came along and commented on how talented and nice she was. Melinda even went the extra mile when I emailed her a month before the wedding asking for hair color recommendations after having a botched color experience. She quickly connected me with her colleague Megan at HC Studio, who was also really nice and did a wonderful job fixing my color.
  
  On my wedding day, Melinda was punctual and did hairstyles for me, 3 bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law. She was very efficient, though took great care on each person's hair. I loved my hairstyle that day, and she attached a flower crown to the style. I expected my head to hurt since I often have pain if I have too many pins or a headband on, but my hair felt light and comfortable all day!

  Melinda is amazing. She did my hair (the bride) and several bridesmaids and everyone looked incredible. My hair stayed all night and Melinda really listened to me and gave exactly the look I wanted. I highly recommend to any bride. Shes also a really lovely person as well as extremely talented. She's the best of the best!

  Melinda is professional, creative, and completely fun. She brings a relaxed and steady touch to an otherwise chaotic day. She has also been cutting my hair for almost 10 years (short, long, color, you name it) and I can't imagine going to anyone else. Melinda is a talented, down-to-earth gem!
