User2256403 Sent on 08/04/2015I just got my wedding photos back from Melissa and my husband and I, as well as the rest of our family, are just over-the-moon!!! We have so many favorites that I have no room to post them all on our walls. I looked really hard in finding a photographer because out wrdding photos were really important to us. We didn't get a videographer and the photos were all we would have to remember our special day. I really don't think we could have asked for better photos. We have had compliments from all our friends and a couple of girls getting married have asked for her contact information. Our photos have yet to be posted on her blog and I'm excited for the rest of the world to see the beautiful work that she did. On top of that Melissa is so incredibly sweet that my husband and I have started to consider her as a dear friend. I would highly recommend Melissa and that says a lot from someone who is a photo snob! ;). As a major bonus I looked into a lot of photographers and her fees are lower than many others whose work is not as good as Melissa's. You won't regret working with her. :) -
User2258304 Sent on 08/05/2015It's coming up on two years since our wedding and I recently couldn't help pulling out our photos and album from that amazing day again. We have so many wonderful moments captured in time by Melissa and those special pictures bring me back exactly into those moments and trigger what I was feeling that day. It's funny, because for most of them, we didn't even know she was shooting, but she captured some pretty emotional moments for us. That's what we loved about Melissa - from the moment we met her, she was just so calming and reassuring, but in a low-key way. In a way that you knew that she knew what she was doing, but she was not in your face about it. She fit right into the awesome chaos of that day and went right to work, with little direction from anyone. The proof is in all of the wonderful memories we have of that day and the feelings we still get when looking back, even two years later! Melissa, thank you so much for being part of our day and providing us with so many incredible snapshots of our friends and family. You truly are one of the best photographers in the industry. -

User2000897 Sent on 01/07/2015I would not recommend Melissa if you are not getting married somewhere sunny and can guarantee her great weather on the wedding day. We are very disappointed with our photos and felt like we wasted a lot of money for mediocre, if not poor, engagement and wedding photos. We would have looked for another photographer for the wedding, but there was not enough time between the engagement shoot and wedding. We fell in love with her work posted on her website. We do not feel we got any photos that were close to those posted there. Her website is very deceiving. For a seasoned photographer, her knowledge of locations for shoots and quality of photos are very amateur. If you would like blurry portraits with your family, hire her. Let's just say that there is not a single shot in which we want to print and display at home. The only positive thing I can say is that she is timely in responding to emails.
