Highly recommend!
Melissa was nothing short of amazing. My husband and I are not photogenic people and Melissa made us feel so comfortable during our engagement and wedding pictures. She always responded quickly and was very prepared for our wedding day. I would highly recommend Melissa as your photographer for your big day! -

Uh-maze-ing
I found Melissa in a local neighborhood group two years ago. When we met to talk I felt like we were high school friends catching up. She was so chill & so easy going, I knew she was going to be a great choice. Throughout our two year engagement, she did my family photos, personal photos, engagement photos and finally, my wedding photos. Every single pic she took turned out amazing. When it came to my wedding photos, I was nervous how I was gonna look (I had just given birth to my first baby 3 months prior) but she made sure I looked great with the angles. I have some complicated family members and she took them great too & didn’t let them interfere with her job! My day turned hectic and she kept calm throughout the whole time which kept me a bit calmer. She makes your wedding day even more calm by how she’s so chill and goes with the flow and always does what you ask! I recommend her for everyone & I can’t wait to hire her again for family photos in the spring/summer this year! If you’re looking for a photographer, look no further. You found the one! She’s great. -

Amazing wedding photographer!
I am so beyond happy to have chosen Melissa as our wedding photographer! From the first time we spoke to our final meeting before our wedding she was extremely responsive and so informative! She helped me prepare a wedding day itinerary that was perfect and our whole day went so smoothly. She made everyone feel so comfortable and was such a light to have on such a busy day. To top it all off sent us our pictures so quickly! I LOVE them all. I truly have so many favorites. All the pictures depict the love and happiness of our day and I am so happy I can cherish them forever. Thank you Melissa for being a part of our day I truly don’t know what I would have done without you! -

Capturing Love and Hope
You know the part in the Beauty and the Beast when the whole castle is brought back to life? When color sweeps throughout the kingdom and all inanimate objects become human again? That is precisely the type of magic that Melissa captured with her pictures.
After meeting in college, my husband and I took very different paths. Our individual paths were comprised of much heartache and personal growth. When life finally decided that we were ready to take on our love once again, we had both been through several moments that slowly extinguished pieces of color in our lives. In the initial stages of our relationship we both grew so much as individuals and as a couple. When we finally decided to get married we were both certain that we wanted a small ceremony with only our immediate family members. We wanted to not only showcase our love, but also the hope that is laced within our story.
My husband and I always say that our love was made possible by two immensely strong women. One, who escaped a war torn country and another who left behind her family and all that she knows. It was our pleasure to have a third strong woman capture the story that runs in our blood and the one that our heart gave life to. On the coldest day of the year, Melissa gently captured the warmth that our love has brought my husband and I. She captured the hope that our mothers traveled across countries and continents to give life to. Most importantly, she captured the promise that even when your life may seem most dark, within minutes, anything can change. Within seconds, color can once again come back in and bring you back to life. She captured the love that we grew to find within ourselves, and the love that we formed as a couple. Simply put, Melissa captured all the tiny moments and decisions our families and ancestors took to get us to this point. I told you, magic. -

The whole experience with her was incredible from the moment I said hello to inquire about our date and prices. She overall is such a genuine and kind individual who loves her job! With my wedding there was a ton of immediate family that we wanted pictures with and everything came out beautifully. She was easy and fun to work with from engagement photos to the big day. 1000000/10 would definitely recommend her to everyone I know and use her for future pictures. -

Melissa was a dream to work with despite our changing venue, date, and size (due to COVID restrictions). She knows how to help pose you while also leaving room to capture the candid moment. 10/10 would recommend her! We're obsessed with our wedding photos and so happy how they turned out. -

I cannot tell you how perfect Melissa made our wedding day. From the beginning, her emailing, her calls and texts, the zoom calls, she was always so kind, especially when dealing with the craziness of wedding planning during covid. She was flexible from the get go and very organized especially when making sure the wedding day would go smoothly. I had a lot of anxiety trying to ensure the day would be "perfect" but Melissa always found a way to ease the nerves ensuring that even if it doesn't go according to the plan, it is still a beautiful and special day. Her wisdom and calm made the day all the more enjoyable.
The day of the wedding, she arrived early and talked me through the recommended changes due to an unexpected rainy day. Once we had a plan, she got to work on details and "getting ready" shots. I also love that she was so kind with everyone at the house, even petting my very large dog that most people are afraid of! I was very worried about how awkward I would be in front of the camera but she really made us focus on each other and was always talking us through poses and actions to make us comfortable. I honestly felt so comfy around her! Melissa's wedding experience also helps because she was posing me in ways I didn't know would get the perfect picture. For example, "flowers at the hip" or "whisper to each other something silly". I cannot describe how happy I was having her around.
Now the actual pictures, oh my goodness. I cannot describe my happiness. They all turned out SO BEAUTIFUL!! She did a great job editing and picking out the pictures to really showcase all the special moments of our wedding. Even when I show my mom photos she says, "no, I can't look at that beauty" lol!
I am so happy to recommend Melissa. She truly gave us a magical experience. -
