    Melissa was very good at organizing vendors and meeting with them the day of the wedding so I didn't have to worry about anything.

    I cannot praise Melissa enough! She was amazing from pre-wedding until the end! She got things done really quickly and was very good at relaying things to us. She was on point with her knowledge and expertise. She recommend some vendors who worked out great! I had a last minute dress emergency and she recommend someone and set me up THAT DAY to get it fixed. The vendor was well priced and did a fantastic job. Melissa also helped in major ways when she dispursed a few major problems we ran into before they happend. She was on point at the wedding saving the day when someone stepped on my trussel and she got out her emergency kit and fixed it in no time! She was very good at keeping the wedding moving on schedule and running smoothly. Her assistant brought me drinks all night and they had our food plated for us when we came up. They did an outstanding job and I can say not one thing went wrong that day- it was the perfect wedding!!

    We could not have been more pleased with the services Melissa provided. She worked with us to tailor her services to our needs. I am the mother of the bride and one who always feels I have to be in full control. Melissa was able to instill such confidence in me that I was able to fully relax and let her take charge. As a result, on the wedding day I was able to focus my attention completely on my daughter and our guests. During the planning process, her recommendations for vendors were right on target for us and my daughter couldn't have been happier. Melissa's staff was also excellent to work with on the wedding day -- both ladies were a true reflection of Melissa's professionalism and attention to detail. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Melissa Wilt Events. She is a special young woman.

    Melissa Wilt Events was the best purchase that we made for our wedding day. The day was completely stress free and was exactly what I pictured, and it was all because of Melissa. I cannot say enough about her.

    I cannot say enough wonderful things about Melissa - she truly made our wedding planning process so much easier! Melissa was so patient with everyone involved. My mom lived in Birmingham and the distance made wedding planning a little challenging, but Melissa helped every step of the way. She answered or promptly returned all of our phone calls and emails. She met us at each venue and appointment. She offered her opinions and great insight on food, decorations, flowers, everything! Melissa also spent numerous hours with me exploring downtown Fairhope to find the right items for our guests' welcome bags and at my home putting them together. Our wedding turned out better than i ever imagined and a huge thanks goes to Melissa! She is so talented and I highly recommend her services.

    You will not find a better wedding planner for your special day. Melissa understands your vision and executes it beyond your expectations. My wedding planning was so much fun and stress free. I definitely recommend Melissa Wilt and her services.

    Melissa is awesome! She coordinated all of our vendors the month of our wedding and was also the day of coordinator. We wouldn’t have been able to pull together all the last minute details without her. She is extremely reliable and has a great attention for detail. Most importantly, she gave us a sense of peace so we could actually enjoy the day---even with the on and off rain chances throughout the weekend. I highly recommend Melissa Wilt Events for any planning and wedding coordinating services in the Mobile/Baldwin county area.

    Melissa was hugely helpful in every stage of our wedding planning. She added such a sense of reassurance and calmness to our day and our preparation. She was very professional and exercised perfect judgement. We weren't sure if we needed a wedding planner in the beginning, but we are so incredibly grateful we did decide on Melissa. Her services are worth every cent-- and then some.

    I can not imagine planning a wedding without Melissa. Nothing prepares you for the emotional ups and downs that you will experience during this process. Knowing that someone as reliable as Melissa has your back is priceless. It makes no difference how organized you are, you need a neutral party in your corner to make things happen and lend a hand. My wedding was at a family property instead of a venue so we were working with a blank canvas. We had a vision of our day that would NOT have been brought to life without Melissa and her staff. They now hold a special place in my heart for making our perfect day real. It truly would not have been the same without them. Highly recommended!

    Melissa planned and coordinated mine and my husband's wedding at The Grand Hotel in Fairhope, AL. She was absolutely wonderful. I truly could not have planned our wedding without her. She kept us on track throughout the planning process making sure we completed certain tasks on the proper timeline. She made the process of selecting vendors effortless by providing all the options and her recommendations and having us choose the direction in which we wanted to go. Even when I would make a decision and then change my mind (in true bride fashion), Melissa was patient and flexible. She was always available and responded quickly when I needed her. I felt like I had her full attention every step of the way. She understood the vision I had for our wedding and executed it beautifully. On the wedding day, Melissa handled everything. She had the day planned by the hour, and every moment went seamlessly. Thanks to Melissa, I was able to enjoy the day getting ready with my family and bridesmaids without worrying about a thing. I highly recommend Melissa Wilt Events to any bride getting married in the Fairhope area. She was a true blessing.

    My fiance and I first heard about Melissa via a wonderful recommendation from our venue. Initially we were only looking for a day of coordinator, but since we were planning our wedding from out of state then we opted for the partial planning package. We couldn't have asked for a better planner. Melissa is an absolute professional! She is organized, flexible and has a great rapport with vendors. Her vendor recommendations were also spot on and added a touch of elegance to our special day. Our wedding day was an absolute success due to Melissa's diligence and hard work.

    Melissa is very professional. She is flexible and willing to offer help and suggestions when needed. Also she is able to accommodate different opinions and emotions among parties in order to have things run smoothly and make everyone happy. She did an excellent job and was an asset to our weekend, day, and weeks prior.

    Mellisa was amazing to work with! She was on top of everything and I knew that I didn't have to worry about a thing. Everything for the wedding went so smoothly and everyone had a blast. My mom and I could enjoy the day and night without having to worry about vendors arriving on time and if the flowers were correct, etc. I am so thankful we used Melissa for our wedding.

    My daughter's wedding was in South Alabama and we live in North Alabama. I was so thankful to have Melissa guide us to the vendors she knew would be the best. Melissa was always a phone call or an e-mail away. Melissa had the wedding day planned perfectly. Her calm, never flustered personality made me know she had it "under control" at all times. We have wonderful memories of a fabulous wedding with the help of Melissa.

    As a wedding planner myself, I thought I only needed a day of coordinator, however during a VERY BUSY time in my life at work, Melissa stepped in as my wedding planner and right hand for my BIG DAY! She made me truly feel as if I was her only bride, which I knew better, but I was truly AMAZED at how she eased my stress and made me really feel like a bride. During our wedding planning process together, she took ALL the STRESS away for me during what should have been a breeze for me during the planning process, by arranging all my appointments and helping my husband and I stay on track with all our wedding planning deadlines and juggling many vendors. She even helped us save time when looking and booking vendors, by suggesting the top vendors she had worked with in the area and getting all the information needed to expedite the process to secure them. I do expect a lot from wedding planners and coordinators in the industry, but Melissa is hands down the TOPS!
    She was VERY ATTENTIVE, knowledgeable, well organized (which I greatly appreciate and need), prompt, and full of GREAT ideas.
    I knew that I was in GREAT hands for my wedding day with Melissa, but she went above and beyond to truly put me at ease and was able to handle all the little things and fix them prior to my arrival, such as the wrong flowers in the arrangements which requested NOT to be in any of my arrangements as I am allergic to them.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH MELISSA FOR MAKING OUR WEDDING DAY AND PLANNING PROCESS SO SPECIAL!! WE TRULY CAN NOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!!!

    I don't even know where to begin to tell you about my true satisfaction with Melissa/MK Events. We had a short engagement- just four months- and I am an event planner for my occupation, so I was a tad hesitant to hire someone to help because let's face it, I'm a control freak. :) I met Melissa about a month before my big day, as I hired her for day-of wedding coordination. Again, I was a little hesitant, but it took only that first meeting to trust her with my complete confidence, which is honestly not an easy thing to do. From that time, Melissa took initiative and immediately started reaching out to my vendors to introduce herself and touch base, discuss details, get a list of all the things they all needed to make final arrangements, etc. She kept me on point and on track the last month, which is an extremely hectic time- especially because I was juggling wedding planning and the demands of a busy full time job. Having her that month leading up to the wedding was a blessing and the day of was imperative. I look back at the money I spent on wedding costs and I can say without a doubt that the fee/service for Melissa was pretty much the best decision of any of my dollars. Coming from an event planner, I can assure you that Melissa is top notch, knows what she is doing, and does a great job to help make it easier on you, the bride. I would recommend Melissa and MK Events to anyone- you will be making a great decision to hire her!!!

    Melissa was so wonderful to work with. She makes you feel relaxed and comfortable about everything! She has a calm, cool, and collected personality which makes everything about wedding planning so much less stressful. She knows what she is doing, makes great recommendations throughout the planning process, and listens to your vision!

    Melissa was wonderful! The wedding would never have happened without her! We hired her as a day of coordinator and she surpassed our expectations. She even handled my hard to deal with family with professionalism and grace. We were very blessed to have her on our wedding team.

Her enthusiasm throughout the entire wedding planning process is contagious, and she did a fantastic job at balancing both my mother and my wishes for my big day!
